Wife and I decided to do a major renovation on the house. Took a couple weeks getting everything aligned. Big problem was we needed the big items moved out into the storage pod. So we called the reliable and most professional business we knew. Two Men and a truck. What did I like about the service? 1. Im retired military, so when they showed up early I was impressed. It was ingrained in me if youre not early your late 2. They were very polite. Both Lowrell D. and Greg G had excellent professional demeanor, 3.The 2 men worked quickly and efficiently, covering everything and being very careful and SAFE. 4.They finished early!! 5. Clean up was perfect. I highly recommend these guys and will use them again when the remodel is over to put it all back together.
My family has used professional moving services 4 times to relocate our family. This is our 2nd time using Two Men and a Truck and we have found them to be reliable in service and quality. For this move we used both the packing and moving service. As hard as it is to let others pack for you, it was a huge time saver. This was especially true in the kitchen where they made sure everything was securely packed.I was really impressed by the moving team (Carlos, Eric, Clinton, Ques). They worked with consistent pace, protected our items, and were courteous and helpful at every turn. Moving is incredibly stressful and using the team at Two Men and Truck San Diego made this move much easier for my family. I would recommend this company without hesitation.
I don’t even know where to begin with how horrible this company is. I had made the contract for a huge move with them from a month ago, I called and confirmed again last week and they called and confirmed the move with me yesterday, so come today our big move day at 8:40 am they call to cancel saying they don’t have the crew. The only thing they said they are sorry and they can do my move on Thursday! Today is Monday! I have the new owners moving in tomorrow. And as I was very upset and asked them to at least send me two guys with one truck, they hanged up on me. So be very very aware if you are doing a move don’t count on them, they can cancel last minute without offering any alternative option! I will report them business Bureau andI will follow up on this complaint very seriously but please be careful booking with this company.
From the quote to day of my actual move the entire team was fantastic. I would definitely recommend them in the future, reasonable rates, clear explanations of their pricing process, lots of service options. The movers themselves were friendly, professional, incredibly accommodating, and worked incredibly hard to get things loaded/unloaded safely and where they needed to be.
I had a great experience with Two Men and a Truck. They showed up within the quoted window, and they were able to pack everything into the truck quickly and efficiently. I was impressed by how much they did to protect my furniture from damage (wrapping everything securely in moving blankets). They also did a great job protecting the apartment itself by putting down floor runners and adding foam barriers to the doorway. Unpacking was done with similar efficiency and safety. I would definitely use Two Men and a Truck the next time I move.
Great follow up from the front office, prompt and professional. Moving team was quick, careful and helpful. Made the whole experience easy and painless. Giuzel, Michael, Eli and Miguel all were great to work with. Highly recommended!
I am really glad I used Two Men and a Truck for my recent move. Everyone was communicative from beginning to end. The guys were on time, efficient, and friendly. Their efficiency and friendliness especially made this move as smooth and easy as it could be.
The movers were professional and polite. They made the move extremely easy and stress-free. 10/10 would use them again and hopefully get the same 2 movers because they were great.
Me and my wife have used this company twice and both times we have been satisfied. Greg & Eduardo moved us this last time and they were very professional. When it’s time for us to move again we will be using this company and requesting Greg & Eduardo.
Professional and efficient. Moved my belongings from a 2 bed / 2.5 bath 1330 sq ft condo across town in 5 hours of work. Turned out to be 3 men and a truck, and they crushed it. They came in $300 below their estimate due to their speed. Lead mover was a Marine veteran. Thanks for employing those who have served. I would highly recommend their moving services and would absolutely use them again. It was truly a pleasure moving, and that is a BOLD statement. I have moved over two dozen times, inside and outside the US, with and without moving companies, so you could say I’ve got experience.
In May I hired this company to do a local move for me. I ask the scheduler for a military discount and she said no problem the the billing department would apply the discount. The crew showed up and did an awesome job then handed me the bill. Again, I ask for the military discount and he said the office would apply the discount. Two months later I have not received my discount and the office personnel will not return return any phone calls. Good crew but lousy and lying office personnel.
I hired Two Men and a Truck for a local move in San Diego within the same zip code back in May. The movers were very disorganized and just dump things around and very careless. They broke our expensive horse statue and coffee glass table. We have reached out to them several times and they still havent compensated for the damages or replace the glass. It has been now almost 4 months and I am without the coffee table. I would not recommend them at all. Stay away !
The guys were so fast, I live up stairs and boy were they going up and down stacking the boxes with care and quickness, I didnt think they would move everything within 2 hours but they did! GOOD JOB GUYS!!!
I HAD to select a rating with the stars because 0 wasnt an option! ZERO Stars!.. UNBELIEVABLY TERRIBLE SERVICE!.. I will go further by saying I wouldnt consider the work they performed as service! The movers destroyed my high quality mattress and platform and decided not to mention the damage. My wife discovered it on her own. We purchased damage coverage of $5000 but, this company has been giving us the runaround with frustrating customer service.. The movers quality of work combined with theyre deceitful work ethics and the lack of creditable customer service is very unprofessional. I regret full heartedly using this Terrible company. I will never recommend these guys to anybody.
These guys were great! They moved us into our new home so fast! They made sure everything was protected and transfered safely. They also had a large truck so we didnt have to make several trips. I hate moving and they made my life so much easier!
From the start of getting a quote, onsite survey, the team showing up and delivery everything went smoothly. The moving team was professional and on-time. They communicated throughout the move and everything arrived safely. Thank you to a great team!
Two Men and a Truck was a great moving experience. They followed up and were proactive in my move, letting me know what to expect and when. The movers, Jarret and Eli, were very friendly, professional, and fast. They worked through problems with packing, sorting and disassembly that made the whole experience much easier; Jarrett with leadership and Eli with creative thinking. Those two are a great team. I would highly recommend.
I just wanted to extend my gratitude for the professionalism of the movers Carlos, Dante, and Tyler from the 9245 Farnham St San Diego, CA 92123 office. They worked extremely hard to complete my move in an efficient manner. They were very competent with packing and moving furniture and cautious to not damage the items in the move or the homes.I cannot thank you enough for a job well done. I will absolutely use two men and a truck for moving services again because of Carlos, Dante and Tyler.
The price is double the one I ended up using. They quoted me $200/h with an 4 hour minimum. They also do not leave you alone. They called me three times after I told them that I would call them back if I decided to use them. If I planned to use them in the future, I absolutely refuse now. Harassment is not an acceptable solution when you call when Im AT WORK and CAN NOT answer.
Stephanie at the home office set me up and walked me through everything I needed to know. Jose, Eddie, and Fernando (yes, three men and a truck!) showed up promptly on moving day and, despite being very careful with my belongings, got everything moved quickly and expertly into my new place. They even put up with my strange requests for where things needed to go and provided valuable insight when I had questions.Their hard work was much appreciated!
Very professional and caring crew members who handled our moving needs beautifully. At the same time very annoying and irresponsible office team members who did not always return calls and tried to stop our moving in the midfle of it for more money and thereforecausing us great headack and bad moving experience.
My husband and I used this service to pack and move our two bedroom apartment from San Diego to Valley Center.I highly recommend them for moving furniture and prepackaged boxes. The woman my husband spoke with on the phone was kind of combative with his requests. She was more worried about telling him that garment boxes and packing would cost more. Obviously, no problem. They showed up with 4 men around 8am and seemed to be moving very quickly. The garment boxes didnt make it, though they were specifically requested so I guess that slowed them down. They eventually showed up because they arrived at my house later, but they were really poor quality. It took them until about 5pm to get to Valley Center. Im honestly not sure what took so long with 4 men who were moving so quickly while we were there. They were friendly and I was very comfortable with them.I absolutely do not recommend them to pack. They did a terrible job. There was 6 big boxes of stuff left over that I had to go pack and move myself. They said their policy is not to move liquid cleaning products or alcohol.Somehow assorted cleaning products, bottles of soap, and all of my shower stuff made it to the house. There was no consistency at all. They left towels, paper towels, my kitchen mats, and an entire closet was untouched. For $2,000 and an extremely generous tip, I feel pretty cheated. I wish I had packed myself. My husband has a unicorn statue that was a gift from his employer and they shoved it into a box upside down, breaking the horn.Im really disappointed to leave a bad review because I told the manager of the crew that I would leave a good review. I just cant after seeing how much stuff they left behind. I waited over a month to leave this review because I didnt want to do it based on emotions. We payed too much money for them to leave so much stuff that had nothing to do with their liquid cleanser policy. At the end of the day they are a great moving company, I highly recommend them for that. But ONLY for that.
Excellent movers! Would definitely use them again if we had another in state move. They were timely, professional, and even stored our things for a few extra days when we could not move in right away. Everything arrived perfectly taken care of. They made the whole experience easy and stress free!
The office team responded quickly. Fees were accurate and the 2 guys were great. Highly recommended.
**Employees Please Read!** They commit WAGE FRAUD with every single mover every single day.If you work for this company, know it is illegal for them not to pay you from the time they ask you to show up to getting to the house. Its also illegal for them not to pay you in between jobs, unless it is a 30 minute, designated lunch break not used to drive between jobs. If they told you you have to be at work at 6:00am, and you get back to the shop at 5:00pm, and you took a 30 minute lunch break, you should be paid 10 hours and 30 minutes. Clocking at 6 am, clock out at 5 pm.Please come together and report this company. Oklahoma labor division can get back the thousands this company has stolen from you every month. https://workplacefairness.org/wage-hour-claim-OK
Ive used them a couple of times (I move around alot). They are always professional, timely, careful and get the job done right. Highly recommend.
It is difficult to get a quote with many repeated questions. Maybe this is due to the fact I used SMS for contacting them. Once the quote came through it was not accurate and more than double I received from other movers. They lost my business although if they had better customer service it may have been different.
It was the best move I have ever had. Movers were on time, courteous, treated the furniture with care and protected it well. They were careful with the walls and the floor and the stair wall. They worked non stop until all was done. Very caring and responsible. Worked methodically and had experience and the tools needed. I had a great experience with them and will use them again if needed.
We called 2 men and a truck to help us move and Peter Lopez and Russell James came out to move us to our new home. I wanted to say that these two gentlemen were very professional and gave us a high quality service. They were very thorough on what to take and not. They were so easy to be around and we had awesome time with them throughout the whole process. I know being a mover is not an easy job and they kept up with smile on their faces. I was lucky to have met them and I will recommend 2 men a truck to anyone. The pricing was reasonable as well. I had such a good experience and if we have to, we will use them again. Thank you.
Guys were great. Fast and careful. Would use again without hesitation.
I have used Two Men and a Truck twice in the last five years for my moving needs - and both experiences have been great. It was easy to work with the office staff to get a quote and reserve my time - the rates were explained clearly (I like that they have one single rate per hour and no additional fees). On the day of the move, they called and kept me informed of the time of arrival. Both loading and unloading was fast, but done with care. They even carried my couch up to the fourth floor by stairs because it would not fit in the elevator without any complaints. Overall, they were extremely professional, courteous, and efficient. Would highly recommend.
Update: I have received NO replies to my multiple emails, to 2 separate employees. It has now been over 2 weeks. Horrible company, horrible customer service. There are so many things that went wrong using this company. Let me lay out the issues that are happening and my frustrations:1. I was quoted and originally confirmed 3 movers, yet only 2 movers were the end quote, just days before the move. I confirmed that 2 movers would be adequate with the number of large items I needed to move in the estimated time frame. I sent an item list over as well as a verbal confirmation.2. The job took over 8 hours. It should have only taken 3-4 hours, and would have if the original quoted number (3) of movers would have been present. We hired them to only move large items.3. There is a lack of communication in the organization:* When I could get someone on the phone I was told different things regarding my move, like the number of movers.*No one returned my calls, when they did call they were not prepared.*I signed a do not exceed agreement for the move, the total cost was significantly higher, but I was charged the do not exceed cost as agreed prior to the move. I have received 2 calls, and a refusal of claim covered because of an amount due DESPITE forwarding them multiple versions of the do not exceed agreed.4. The company will not cover a claim despite a do not exceed agreement and purchase of the $60 insurance that covers up to $5,000.*They broke a table, which is the only claim we are asking for despite a handmade bookshelf was broken, multiple dings, scratches, and gouges in our new home and multiple pieces of furniture.5. My husband had to help them move. We hired movers but he had to help them move the pieces we hired them for. They did not pack items, they not move all of the apartment, we went 2.5 miles, and it took over 8 hours.Upon receiving the claim denial I email these details to the company and have not heard anything back. It has been over week. They do not honor their agreementsThey will over charge you what they estimateThey will not communicate with you unless its to try and get money from youDo not use this company.
My Two Men and a Truck team showed up on time and were fantastic. Even though I protected majority of my furniture, they brought their supplies and made it extra sturdy. They wrapped everything that I was not able to. They even brought me 2 free wardrobe boxes. They loaded the truck fast! Nothing was broken and they honestly did it in a very timely manner. Joe and Dee were two great guys and I so appreciate them making this move less stressful and seem so easy.
My brother used Two Men for their move in Connecticut and said they were amazing. Unfortunately for this franchise, we felt scammed. Someone came out to our house to price check the move and gave us a price. We signed on it and waited for move day. When the day came, they packed up our stuff to move and we received a call that day stating they got the price wrong but theyll hold on to our stuff in storage until we pay the difference. So they basically held our stuff hostage. We called our lawyer and came to an agreement, finally getting our stuff back. What we received was extremely disappointing - our $7,000 couch from Crate and Barrel was ripped with other little glass items we owned, ended up being shattered. We were told since we didnt pay the full amount theres nothing they can do about it.We also heard from our friends who moved across country who used this franchise and a similar thing happened to them. Things like, having their items held hostage, demanding more money and then they had very nice dining room chairs broken all because their house was priced wrong and this franchise threw a fit about it.Maybe you should take the time and money to train your employees better because this falls on the managers and owners for not providing the knowledge their employees need for their jobs as well as a better experience for their customers. If you can, go with a different moving company. Youll save yourself time, money and energy. Absolutely absurd.
Great service. Very professional.
This is the best 2-men and a truck franchise in the country. Extremely professional, punctual, energetic and the most important part of all, they performed as if they were moving their own belongings. As a military family, we have more moves in our future and I am a customer for life. Excellent value for the services rendered.
They where both great! Really down to earth guys who got the job done quickly & effectively! Would most definitely recommend!
Todd and Edgar did an amazing job with my local move. They were very professional, worked hard, and were careful with my items. Two Men and a Truck made the whole process easy and efficient; from the initial set-up, to checking in on moving day. Highly recommended!
This was the second time that Ive had to use them within 6 years. As usual they were amazing. I have to pack everything up and have it ready when they arrive but it was well worth it. Save me a lot of money. I would definitely use them again if I move.
We had the pleasure of having Ali H. And Miguel L. Come out last week and move several items within our house. We switched around 2 boys rooms and an office. They also moved a sofa and large bookshelf downstairs. The guys were on time, were very careful with the furniture, and finished in a timely manner (within 2 hours!) they were courteous and asked me at the end if they could do any more for me. We are 100% satisfied with their moving skills! We would recommend them to anyone needing furniture moved within a house. Thank you Two Men and a Truck. You made our home more livable!
From Steven who booked the move for us in the office to Jose, Robert and Laurel who helped us with the move, everything went as planned. These guys were super polite, on time and helped with any and all requests. It went over the minimum time but that is because they do a great job making sure your items dont get damaged in the move. I would 100% recommend 2 Men and a Truck for your next move.
Misleading prices over the phone. I was quoted $150 for a 2 hour minimum (moved a dinning table). The move took 45 minutes total, mileage 19 miles (to and from). The cost ended up being close to $600!I contacted the company twice and encountered extremely poor customer service with dismissive responses. Lesson learned. I would recommend a different company. Terrible experience.
1 star because they scratched my floors and wall. I repaired both myself. I filed a claim with the lead mover while they were at my house and they never followed up. They also loaded my washing machine upside down and it broke them drum and I had to buy a new washing machine. Do not use them. There is no follow up on “claims” that they file for damages. I never received one phone call other than the owner telling me to provide my number and call him. I will not. I am forcing you to either follow up on your “damage claim” that your guy “filed” for me or you just prove to me that the claim is fraud and you just do it to appease your customer in the moment. since I have not heard from you in almost a year I am leaving another review here on google now. Avoid using Two Men and a Truck.. buyer beware.
I have moved 17 times and this was the best. BY FAR. If you want a crew that shows up on time, works methodically and carefully, and packs and handles your belongings like they own them, use this company. Best movers in San Diego.
DONT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!! I sort of pride myself on being the person who writes only good reviews, as people tend to complain or talk only when its really bad. In this case, I felt the need to write the bad review to warn other customers. Ill spare the details but everything went wrong on this move. They admittedly screwed up our move date so they were 6 hours late starting to move us when we had to be out for our new buyers that day. A 2 bed 2 bath condo took 7 hours...This wasnt because of all the stuff we had but because they were soooo slooowww! They broke a $100 glass lamp shade off completely and broke the whole glass side of my great grandmothers china closet I had been inherited. The total we signed for at 10 PM that night was not the total we were charged- we were charged $278 over what we were told and signed for. The Manager in an email (not a phone call or apologize call) offered $40 for the damaged items. What a joke. Go elsewhere, and at least your things will be in one piece when you get to your next home! SO disappointed and felt like we were more than understanding until we were forced to be jerks in order to get our money back they overcharged us, and our things replaced they broke! Just an awful experience and still awaiting reconciliation from a manager that makes sense.
About a year ago I was in a bind and needed movers fast. I called 2 Men and a Truck and Errol and his crew came out and did an amazing job. They even took care of a safe I thought I was going to have to call another company to get moved. So last Friday I once again needed moving services and once again 2 Men and a Truck delivered. I deal with a lot of vendors and 2 Men is one of the best to work with. They are fast, hardworking and easy to work with. Thank you Errol and team I know Ill be calling you again soon.
Best thing I’ve ever spent my money on!! Ask for Greg and Kei to be your movers! What a wonderful experience. Thank you
Greg and I believe Juan was their names! When I say amazing guys.... Its an understatement. Professionalism, humor and great men all around. A+
Just great. Totally professional move. Quick and no damages... took great care to do it right...
The guys that moved were highly professional, focused and worked extremely hard to get me moved quickly. They treated me like a very important customer and happily moved boxes and furniture exactly where I needed them. Their office staff was also very friendly and executed well. Overall great experience!!!
Best moving Company money can buy. Huge shout out to Joe, Terrance and Brad for making my move painless and stress free.Movers showed up, walked my place, explained their duties and in a blink of an eye, my move was done.Thank you Two Men and and a Truck!
My sister and I had to move today from a one story home to a three story townhouse, we are so grateful for two men and a truck. We had three wonderful gentlemen help us today, David, Yani, and Brad. They were so polite. Took extra care to not damage our floors and walls and exceeded our expectations in packing and organization. We had a complicated move as we were splitting belongings between two home and they took extra care to ensure they only took what was to go to our new home. Our stairway was very awkward and small and they tried multiple times in multiple ways to get our couch upstairs. Unfortunately it would not work and all three of them apologized to both my sister and myself individually even though it was by no means their fault. They worked very hard and were wonderful during a very busy and difficult day for us. I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck, specifically David, Yani and Brad. Thank you gentleman for making our day that much easier.
I own a San Diego CA Boudoir Photography Studio (Boudoir Ego) and a Wedding Studio (Blessed Wedding Photography). We hired two men in a truck to move from one photo studio to the next. The men who arrived were great! They packed up everything fast waisting NO time and moved our entire studio into a new studio on the third floor.I highly recommend this company to help your business move!
The team was great and the move was easy. They worked hard and were very professional and polite.
Value for money. Very professional team who completed the move within the minimum 3 hr time block. Will definitely use their services again for my next move in SD.
This company’s rates were much higher then their competitors so I thought the service and safety of my furniture would be better but I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The 2 guys that came were friendly but didn’t properly wrap my furniture. I have a very expensive Light linen headboard that they did not wrap at all and they got black fingerprints all over! Also, I had a brand new $600 mirror that was in its box (I had verified the mirror was completely intact when I received it from the company, which it was) and left it in the original box to help the movers with transport. They did not want it out of the box and rewrapped using their own supplies so it stayed in its original packaging during the move. Once I got it to my new home, we took it out of the box to discover it broke during the move. The company did not want to take any responsibility for the repair or replacement of the mirror saying if it’s in the original packing that they are not liable. But the movers did not want the mirror out of the box to move!! So how are they not reliable for that?? I’m not a moving company, I do not know what’s best. It was ultimately up to them and they chose not to rewrap the mirror themselves. I had paid an additional $60 for moving insurance and all they compensated me for was $150 to get my bed cleaned. I am SO disappointed!! It was a terrible experience. They charged me $600 for a job that took under 3 hours and I tipped the 2 movers $40.
Super professional! Best move experience!
The two gentlemen who made my move were total professionals. They were on time and very efficient. They wrapped all the furniture to thoroughly protect it. They packed the truck expertly; thus, nothing was damaged. I really enjoyed working with them. In a sense: “We had fun!”
We had a great team of movers who were efficient even with our big, bulky items! Fred, Antonio, Deaven, and Anthony. Great service during these stressful times. We would definitely recommend! Thanks!
Once again Two Men and a Truck did not disappoint. We have used them twice in a very short period of time. Every interaction with every member of their team was professional, effective and efficient. They are great. If you use them, youll be great too.
Outstanding experience. From scheduling to the move, everything was like clockwork. Our two movers were beyond excellent. Efficient, careful, responsive only touch on the surface of how good they were. Would use company again, without a doubt.
I have been asking to speak to the owner about my issues for weeks. Seems nobody at management cares at all. Enrique (GM) has gone beyond stonewalling is in that effort - he has been grossly unprofessional to my wife. Here are the facts of our move day experience.1. Showed up an hour late (for an early AM spot)2. Truck doesn’t nearly fit up our in laws driveway3. They try anyway - marring the city’s street significantly and taking big chunks out of my in laws driveway.4. They recognize they will not nearly be able to meet their time commitment, so they commit to having another person help with the move.5. That person never shows up.6. Furniture wrapped incorrectly.7. Move finishes 3+ hours later than originally quoted, nearly doubling our cost.My wife and I were military - 11 moves in last 15 years - never seen anything like it.
This was the best moving company I’ve ever worked with. They were hard working and efficient. And pleasant as well. I didn’t feel I was moving by myself, I had a team that cared.I can’t say enough good and you can use this company knowing you will be taken care of and treated fairly. And they give back to the community! How awesome is that! This is a business we need to support and encourage. Thanks Two Men and a Truck!
My wife and I used Two Men and a Truck for our move out of downtown San Diego to East County. We called them after two (2!) moving companies cancelled on us within 24 hours of our move date. We saw them moving someone else in our complex and so knowing we had to move out THAT DAY, we called their office to see if they had any availability. Needless to say, this was quite an emergency. The office team, Gizelle our point of contact, was kind and responsive, not only checking availability but booking us that same day given our circumstances. When the movers arrived, Bernardo and Robert, they were polite and well prepared. We mostly had furniture left to move given the situation we were in, but they did a great job nonetheless. They brought pads and tools to make sure we moved out with no damage to our unit. They did end up damaging a portion of our bedframe during the move, which we werent that upset about since we were happy to just have movers in the first place, but they made things right by comping a last minute dump run for us with items we were wanting to get rid of. All in all, a great experience and highly recommend.
Great experience, the movers were fast and efficient but also careful. They had everything you could possibly imagine to ensure none of my items were damaged. Id really recommend them, as it made the whole move way easier.
Two Men and a Truck moved most of my 3 bedroom house into storage because I had to move into a studio for awhile. Now Im ready to move back into a larger home. I will find out when I unpack those items if anything is damaged. The were very professional a spent a little more time than planned but it was because they seemed to be taking care that heavy things werent stacked on light things. They handled my possessions with care. Im going to have them move me out of my studio too.
Thieves. Never use this company. They stole money right out of my moms purse. Jose is a thief. The other two guys were good and hard working, but Jose gives their company a bad name. I am waiting for this company to right this wrong with her. She wants the money to go to the other guys who were good. You’re supposed to trust movers when they’re in your house.
Did not send anyone to evaluate how much we had to move and if we needed two trucks. Ended up having to get another truck for the next day. They still didnt move everything so I had to rent a truck to finish the job. Movers just seemed like they wanted to be done and leave. Our Condo was only two bedroom 940sf. I would not recommend using this company.
Very professional company! I had to move from La Jolla to San Marcos out of a one bedroom into a one bedroom. I had a lot of heavy boxes and lighter furniture. I was scheduled for Sunday from 9:00am-10:00am. They arrived at 10:20am, 2 man crew with a big truck. They moved everything out of my place within an hour and into the new place within 30 minutes. The total time was about 3 hours and gave them $450 cash plus tip. Jose M. and Sergio helped me move were kind, courteous, and professional. The customer service was great, both with scheduling and following up. I received detailed information prior to the move via email and received an invoice after the move. I highly recommend using this company for moving! No damages to any of my furniture or home items, timely, efficient, and professional. They are bonded, insured, and do background checks on all their movers. Great company!
I have nothing but praise for my moving experience with Two Men and a Truck. From my initial phone call with Richard to the day of the move with Tyler and Mike K., I was treated with friendly professionalism and my furniture was treated with care and respect. The company did exactly what they said they would do and did it well within the price range they quoted me in the beginning.I am impressed with the integrity of this company and certainly recommend their services to others.
Outstanding courtesy & service! I needed a quick same -day move & James set me up & confirmed. Two young men arrived on time, were efficient & quick; careful & conscientious. So very grateful. They were recommended to me & I am recommending them with enthusiasm!Cost was below market with no add-ins for same day service, and no surprise fees-. Very pleasant experience😎Brenda Lee
We want to acknowledge the outstanding moving job and hard work carried out by both Audie and Trey. Both men handled our furnishings and family mementos with much care and efficiency. They knew just how to prepare, protect and handle all the odd-sized and heavy items. Both men were very kind, and Audie carried out each task and paperwork with precision.Upon arrival, they made certain that each piece of furniture was placed exactly where we wanted it. We hope that they both receive company recognition for their fine workmanship. They and the fine office staff including Guizel, know and care about the business of moving with CARE!!Were very grateful,Grace and Kris
These guys were great! I needed to sign a waiver for my piano, but they did a great job - they were fast, stayed in my time limit (3 hours) and got my whole house moved asap. Thanks!
My moving experience with this company was really good. From the moment I reached out to the office to the charging process, everything went smoothly.I had to schedule my move while being out of the country and all my requests were answered in a timely manner. On the day of the move, Ed and Lorenzo came to my apartment with a big truck and were really efficient on loading the truck with all my boxes (and there werent a few). They took apart my Ikea furniture with no issues. When they arrived at my new place, they had a third mover to help them set up (I dont recall his name, but started with L). They were also very efficient on unloading the truck and setting back my furniture. Highly recommend their services.
See below the gist of what I emailed to the administration to which I have received no response, no compensation for damaged items, and no call back.I would strongly suggest protecting yourself and knowing what you are getting into when working with this company.I have not been this disappointed in the result of something in a very long time. It has taken me a couple of days to calm down so I could politely express my disappointment and explain with as little subjective details as possible. Please read below. This move was stressful and frustrating. I want to underline that your staff moved 6 suitcases, 6/7 boxes, 4 chairs and 2 bar stools, a small credenza, a couch, and couch that was in two pieces, 2 large cushions, 1 queen mattress, 1 twin mattress, one 3 drawers chest of drawers, a carpet, 1 queen bed frame (head, foot, side panel and lats), a floor lamp, a mac desk top, and a stereo (record player and amp with 2 speakers) 2 bed side tables, two lamps for the bed side tables and a bunk bed and 5 drawer chest of drawers ( bunk bed = desk, drawers and shelf unit, bed frame, base and lats).1. Il-equipped- We instructed your staff, before arrival to make sure the people were equipped with straps to help them lift furniture up the stairs because that was the most efficient, safe, and energy effective way to move it.Your staff came unprepared, and when I told them they needed straps before starting, they said that they were not equipped and that their company has many definition of straps, and then rather than getting the materials they needed they proceeded to start, they started. I know how heavy and awkward this furniture is, I moved it already on my own, why did you not pay head to my requests?2. NOT TAKING DIRECTIONS - Receptivity : There was no rhyme or reason with their listening skills. We instructed your staff to NOT spend their time wrapping my sons room because the furniture was not of much value, but to focus on the remaining furniture (we repeated this information 2 times). They took this information and proceeded to fully wrap and secure my son s bedroom furniture (TAKING AN HOUR - see items above) and then neglecting to wrap properly the rest of the house. The result is that our mattress has black stuff on it, and some of our furniture was dirty on the fabric, and there was damage to the credenza, the record player and stereo/amp were not wrapped at all and now there is a contact failure problem on one of the knobbies - where was the rapping and blankets for these pieces?3. Speed and efficacy.Speed - That is 50 items, and it took them around 6 hours. They did not pack anything, and WE HELPED THEM MOVE, LOAD THE TRUCK, and UNLOAD THE TRUCK.Efficacy - using dollies to hoist furniture up 3 flights of stairs is STRATEGICALLY INEFFICIENT and most ENERGY depleting way of moving up stairs AND it causes STRAIN ON THE FURNITURE and is NOT SECURE.It was so INEFFICIENT and SLOW, we had to help them.4. AccountabilityDAMAGE to the furniture, to the WALLS OF MY OLD APARTMENT occurred as the dolly was not being used correctly. Many of the articles had no protective blankets on them. Drawers were not removed and items fell out. We ARE STILL WAITING FOR COMPENSATION AND FOLLOW UP - it has been a week. The staff was OVERBOOKED and ILL-EQUIPPED for the job.5. Safetya. not having the proper equipment for the move and proper training for your staffb. Keeping social distancing and wearing a mask or some kind of face covering is important. We supplied one of your workers a mask (he did not wear it near us at all) and the other wore his sparingly despite voicing having an at risk family member.Again, your staff was very nice and very polite. So that is the only good point.
Eugene, Brian and Brad were amazing hard workers who cared about our things and handled everything so carefully. My husband and I also enjoyed spending the day with them while they moved our entire apartment in incredible time! We had a fun day and a great experience!
Had a great experience with Two Men and a Truck. James and Brett were quick but careful with moving our stuff from a pod facility to our new house. We would definitely recommend them in the future. Thanks for being great!
Staff was very helpful and cooperative and also very experienced and professional.
Remarkable service. Jay and Horacio were saints, they took such great care with our stuff. They even brought a little box for our kids. Our whole family was nervous about moving out of our apartment and into our first home but they made everything seamless. 10/10
Ive moved 12 times in the last 15 years. This was the first time Ive used Two Men & a Truck. I will never use any other moving company. These folks are about as professional as it gets. The only bad thing I got from this move was extreme weariness from watching these folks RUN back and forth from the truck to the house! Four bedroom house moved and unloaded in about three hours. Wow!
Excellent work, after this experience I will not be afraid of moving again. Extremely friendly and always willing find a solution. I been moving many times in the US before and was always a nightmare, but now is a pleasure.
This was surprisingly the worst move ever. While everyone was very nice two of the people were very slow. Didnt even get close to everything moved and took way longer than expected to even do that. Tried to over-charge me by saying they got there earlier and the drive time was longer. Lunch was supposed to be 30 minutes and was much longer. They bent the mount for one of my TVs. No idea if anything else is broken because I still have to finish moving the rest of the stuff myself. Would avoid at all costs.DGP
They team was great. They were incredibly quick and efficient. They moved all of our big furniture out of our condo and into the new place in one afternoon. I would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck to anyone looking for an affordable in-town move.
Great service all around, prices are very reasonable and the crew also did an excellent job working efficiently. Had them pack most of my old residence as well and they did a great job. Cant say enough nice things--definitely give this group a look if youre moving.
Called them for a next day move of office furniture/lab equipment. We needed 4 movers. They were professional and on time. Communicated well and were careful with our items. Price was good as well - very competitive. Big truck and appropriate help. Would use them again.
Awesome movers who took time to be careful with everything. I would highly recommend them.
DO NOT USE this company. My experience was horrible and left me with an incomplete move, disassembled furniture and a high bill. Additionally no one from the company has called to follow up about the experience. I had very little furniture to move and everything was packed and ready to go. It was a one bedroom to one bedroom apartment move. After hours of waiting for them to load the truck, I had to ask my family to help get the truck loaded because I was close to being charged for going over four hours to use the buildings elevator. When I asked the mover about getting going he told me it was now time for a lunch break. He then parked the loaded truck in front of the new apartment (blocking residents from leaving) and took off for a lunch break. He later explained he was doing me a favor by not charging me for the time he took for lunch. WHAT?! And again, no one from the company has called to follow up. Please do not make the mistake I made and go with a more reputable moving company.
Movers (D. Hopkins, Nadoto & S. Jordan) were polite, friendly & efficient, a good experience during a hectic day. I will recommend Two Med and a Truck to anyone in need. Thanks for all the hard work guys
I wont use this companys service in the future, nor can I recommend it to other viable customers like me. I am very unhappy with my service 05/31/17 and asked if a manager would call me. The company did not reply. Specifically, I wanted to understand why my service, a further distance, on 10/06/16 (see below) and with significantly more furniture to move, cost less ($417.00) than my move on 05/31/17 (see below), a shorter distance ($486.00). It is an overage of $69. I asked if I may be credited this amount. I asked this as an exception - as an act of customer good will and retention:05/31/2017 - 42 min (25.9 mi) $486 total move10/06/2016 - 44 min (26.2 mi) $417 total moveThe companys lack of honor, integrity, professionalism and high sense of customer service ensures its failure.
I am writing this review to let everyone know that Two Men and a Truck is a self-described NON -professional moving company. Or at least thats what they told my wife and I when they refused to move our sectional couch up to our 3rd floor apartment.During the pre-move phase I provided Two Men and A Truck with a rough estimate of how many boxes I had as well as larger furniture that would also need to be moved. I let the company know right off the bat that there wouldnt be an elevator in our new apartment, stairs only. The project manager (PM) said that they have moved into that specific building before and that moving the large couches (sectional) would not be a problem. I noticed while touring the building prior to signing a lease that all units on the third floor have sectional sofas, so we werent that concerned that our furniture wouldnt fit.Furthermore three weeks leading up the move I called the project manager and mentioned that I underestimated the amount of boxes I had. The PM said that there was no problem. I believed everything was all set.The movers arrived within the hour window I was provided. I told them that I hoped that the PM had communicated with the movers regarding the increased box total from the original estimate. The captain on the move told me the PM had NOT told them the updated box amounts and that the movers were scheduled to assist with another move after ours. He said the PM was on vacation in Hawaii so there was no way to communicate with someone about getting additional help for our move or for getting another team over to the other location for a PM move. One of the movers even had the audacity to tell me that I am lucky that the captain of the team decided to go forward with the move because the quote was incorrect.Uh, excuse me?! I am the lucky one? I I told the project manager multiple times that my initial box estimate was incorrect. Correct me if Im wrong, but its not the customers responsibility to ensure that theres quality communication within a companys own organization. The movers themselves were lazy and I even saw them smoking a vape pen in the truck and on the sidewalk to and from my apartment. I really hope this wasnt cannabis because they were handling our valuables. I am not opposed to cannabis but I guess these guys are not professional movers and I shouldnt have expected them to not be under the influence. After all the boxes were moved in it was time for the couch. They didnt even attempt to move it up the first set of stairs - instead they simply said they can’t do it after just eyeballing the space. I spoke to the captain and expressed how frustrated I was because I was told by the PM that Two Men and A Truck has specifically been hired to move other people in and out of this building AND I hired Two Men and A Truck only AFTER they said they would be able to move my sectional into the building. Our movers asked my wife on how they should try and get the first half of the sectional up the stairs. She’s not a mover or engineer, so every suggestion she gave was met with a response of: that won’t work, or the movers would have a storied answer - saying they tried that once before and scratched the wall or they did that at another location and it resulted in $2.5 million in damages. Frustrated, my wife asked them what they recommended. They told my wife we should have hired professional movers. They said that professional movers (which Two men and Truck are NOT) come to the locations and measure things to ensure a solid move. Two men and truck are more laborers than experienced movers. The move did not end on a positive note because of these comments over the course of the move which I would have probably just ignored if they actually completed my move. Since they did not, this rating is reflected as such.DO YOUR RESEARCH, this was my mistake as I hired them thinking they are professional movers. Maybe other franchise locations are better but certainly not this one.
Have used this company twice and they are fast, efficient and polite. Cant quite remember the two names of the first time I used them, but Tony and Kevin got the job done today. Will definitely be using them again on my next move.
The guys that did the actual work on moving day deserve a 5 star rating...but... We needed two trips for our move and should have asked for two trucks. This was apparently my fault for underestimating how much stuff we had (as opposed to the company taking responsibility for advising me poorly) so, after being told half way through the move that the drivers were told by management they couldnt make a return trip to get the rest of our stuff, we had to rush out to rent a uhaul that minute, call friends with muscle, and finish the job ourselves, working until midnight in a frenzy because we had to be out of our house that day. Ive since learned that most moving companies will send someone to your home to evaluate your needs so its not up to you to figure out what you need. I did not know this as it was the first time Id ever hired professional movers and we hadnt moved in over 21 years. This was a nightmare experience that could have been avoided if theyd put in a little extra effort on the front end to evaluate the needs of the move. The manager on the phone was unsympathetic, You were offered two trucks and said no. Well, when I had my phone consult with them its NOT as if they said I should have two trucks and I refused, the person on the phone thought one would be enough as well. So we spent $1800 for half our stuff to be moved and ended up stressed and frazzled and tapping out friends anyway... That being said our movers were GREAT and I have nothing but good things to say about them and the job they did. We had some pretty heavy items to move and they were awesome! But I would never use this company again.
I was charged $800 to move a one bedroom apartment less than fifteenn minutes away to the new location. The movers forgot their toolbox and got lost, resulting in delays of my move. The lead mover behaved very inappropriately towards myself and the other mover. Being a woman by myself, I felt uncomfortable and powerless when it came time to sign off on the final paperwork.I contracted Two Men & a Truck under false pretenses - that I would be taken care of. Instead I feel taken advantage of. The idea is that TWO men would move me, not just ONE of them. The lead guy sat around and barely lifted a finger the whole time - making what should have been a short move into a five hour ordeal. Movers who care is misleading, and a lie.My husband has attempted to contact the manager multiple times, and has yet to even receive a call back. This has been a horrible experience, and I will tell everyone about it, and make sure no one I know contracts with this company. Its been terrible. Dont use them, its a total scam.
Donna the intake coordinator was very professional and reassuring. Her team was prompt and assisted my daughters move with out a hiccup. She stated they were fast, professional and managed the furniture with out any problems. Highly recommend
Did my move in two phases (one to a storage locker, one to new place) and both went smoothly in all aspects. Very professionally handled and reasonable rates. Would definitely recommend and use again.
Everyone at TMAAT was extremely friendly, flexible and professional. I had to call and change my move at least 4 times, because my home wasnt ready and it was done seamlessly. When the movers finally arrived on moving day they were fast and professional. I would highly recommend them. And if I move again I know exactly who I am calling.
Had a great experience moving with Two Men and a Truck. From the office staff to the movers, they were all very professional and made it an easy move. Would absolutely use them again.
Never, Never, Never use them. I asked a truck and three guys and just one guy worked, the other 2 guys together worked a lot less than one guy. Just stayed inside of truck and on the phone. They just checked their time. thats it. I dont want to give them any stars. They do moving by mouth, not hands. They came my home at 9 am, they just moved several book boxes only within 2 hours. I couldnt believe it. They dont know how to protect furniture, how to load furniture on the truck. They scratched and chipped all wood furniture. They just know how to extend the hours for the money. My piano pedals were vent. My expensive dining tables all chipped and scratched. one dresser corner was chipped and a part was separated from the dresser. all part of bookshelves were separated. even they chipped dry wall of my house. They put my furniture wherever they wanted. I had to move them. I had to asked 5-6 times to move my desk to office. a guy staying inside of truck and said he couldnt move the desk and keep saying it was the company policy. Half of my bed connection parts were missing. The guy jointed screws by hand without tools and told me it was enough. Can you believe that ?they never take care of customer. I dont know how the company did train them. they were terrible company. never. never, never use them. their actual working hours only 3 hours total and they charged for almost triple. I want my money back. It was my worst experience in my life.Frankly, I wanted to sue them.
Our guys were very professional and handled the move like experts. They came in under their quote, which was great for our budget! I would recommend Two Men and a Truck to everyone needing a moving service.
