I highly recommend Floorcraft for the purchase of floor tile. Chris Dawson was very helpful in every way, including in expediting receipt of additional tile and bullnose when I had mis-measured floors and needed additional tile right away to keep my installers working. Friendly, knowledgeable and customer focused.

TLDR I waited two weeks for nothing waste of time do not bother with them if you want work done find another company.I was referred to floor craft for being professional and local business. They had me wait 2 weeks for an estimate then called late and told me that they cannot find parking which I told them there were spaces right in front including one I would hold for them with my own car. I was told that they wouldnt do the job because of parking, which basically meant they didnt have time or cared about doing this job which means that they dont really have time or care about customers.

Amy Vuu has a good knowledge of their products and really helped us when were doing our Kitchen remodeling in selling us the best with our budget. Mixed reviews on the experience with the tile department. The selection is great and the sales guys have good recommendations.Their ability to match order needs with square footage is lacking. They’ll significantly over order for the space and accept no responsibility for waste. In our particular case, we have 25% excess; however, the tile used for the job matches the square footage on the order. We still have 25% waste. What?They will even refuse to confirm if their order was the issue and simply blame the customer. Could be better in a highly competitive space.

I just purchased a Frigidair gas range and a Liebherr refrigerator, which was on sale from the floor showroom at 50% off! Amy helped me get the best stove for my parents because having a griddle was very important for them to make tortillas. The gas range works perfect and the refrigerator is organized in a way that is more efficient and safer for back bending. The delivery arrived as expected. The quality of both appliance has enhanced our cooking experience. Thank you Floorcraft!!!

It was all done well; soup to nuts. Professional and reliable while being personable and genuinely helpful. Linda was all that the raves have described her to be. Her carpet installation man was like-wise great and his team who did the actual installing were thorough, conscientious, and courteous.

Came into the store last week to get a new carpet for my room and I left happy. A young man towards the back took his time explaining the different carpets they had and pointed me to a sales associate to complete my buy. It’s so much easier when you have the correct help when someone gives their time.

When I need carpet again in the future, I am calling Linda. She is a super nice lady, so friendly and helpful. she is also professional, responsive, honest, and fair. Floorcraft on Howard in Burlingame is potentially the worst service ever. If they call you back at all - be prepared for the unprofessional, snub if you aren’t working with a massive space or budget. We were looking for kitchen design help and they strung us along for weeks and then didn’t deliver. Ridiculous!Floorcraft on Bayshore in SF - awesome staff! So far they have been super helpful.

Working with Linda was a joy. The project was an apartment and the timeframe was tight but she coordinated and expedited mill, warehouse and installer to assure that, despite my slow start, we ended on schedule. Floorcraft prices cant be beat and Lindas approach to customer service made me feel as if I was a real important customer.

Great variety of tile. However customer service is not so good. Got scratched tile and they are not willing to resolve issue, offered 10%(!) discount for defective tile which I never got...

We had Floorcraft install vinyl flooring in a very OLD apartment with uneven flooring that was at least 70 years old, they did a fabulous job. They ripped up the old flooring and leveled the floor and installed the new vinyl which makes the apartment look like it has joined the modern world.

I love the tile we selected from Floorcraft. overall tile selection is good, price is competitive and our sales rep, Paule, is quite talented. the problem with this company is customer service. the phone system is annoying. if you dont have the sales reps personal cell number, its hard to get anything done. i have a 30 min drive to get to the store and dont want to drive there to find out the items are out of stock. whenever i dialed the main number, i could never reach a receptionist. Plus, the phone system is complicated and it takes a while to figure out how to reach the tile department. When i finally figured out how to get the department number, all calls went to voicemail.

We moved into an apartment with flooring that had originally been installed by Floorcraft. The floor was in bad shape, so we asked for their help to restore it. The rep was not very responsive to emails -- never did follow up with the information of the correct product that I needed to buy, even after I sent a reminder. When I called in, a different rep gave me information which directly contracted what the first person had previously told me.

Gary in flooring was great. He made our remodel very easy. Not only did he set me up with flooring, but he gave great advice and introduced me to people in other departments.

I am very disappointed and angered by the service I received at Floorcraft. I wanted to give my money to a local business and hoped for the expertise and quality I might not get at the big box store across the street. I found a bathroom sink and cabinet I loved. When it came to the faucet, I deferred to the experienced salesperson--she thought the model she happened to have under her desk would work great—not too modern and small enough to clear the medicine cabinet door. I reasoned she had done this many times, and she seemed very knowledgeable. The wrong cabinet was delivered to my house with a drawer I hadn’t ordered. I was told at first that I could cut around the drawer to make room for the plumbing—I refused knowing full well what I had paid for. Eventually they realized they had sent the wrong cabinet and soon corrected the mistake. It took me some time to get the metal plumbing pipes, adaptors, and extensions (I’ve never installed a sink and faucet before.). When I finally turned the faucet on, it became very apparent to me and others that the faucet was too short for the sink. Ones hands are crunched up against the side of the basin to catch the water—clearly this would not work. I had paid $175 for what I hoped would be a faucet that would last my lifetime. I called and talked to the salesperson who sold me the faucet. She said to come down and she’d give me a discount and try to rectify the situation. I took the bus to the store the next day, spotted a better faucet, and paid $96.56— half price. I wasn’t happy, but I felt we had reached a reasonable compromise. However, the next day, after I left a message saying I was ready to come pick it up, she called back and said management balked at the deal she had made, and I would have to pay full price. I refused. They were reneging on our agreement. I couldn’t believe that they were not willing to keep their word, take the loss, and make a loyal customer—The day before, I had picked out samples in their flooring department and talked about stoves and countertops with representatives. They contend I should have known it wouldn’t work before installing it (They can’t return a faucet once installed). I was trusting the word of the salesperson, and it wasn’t until I turned on the water and tried it that my disappointment started to flow. The project was a birthday gift and my high hopes went down the drain. Unless Floorcraft attempts to make amends, I will never step foot in the store again. I will put my refunded money toward the same replacement faucet from Amazon or Home Depot at a price $36.05 cheaper. I’m very disappointed.

We bought tile, and it turned out some of it was missing, and some was the wrong kind. I had to drive back up to SF, where one employee, Ben, had already agreed to take us on because the other, Marty, was so incompetent. We were told all the paperwork would be completed for our refund before I arrived. None of it was done. As a result, Ben loaded the work back on to Marty, took phone calls about other business, and completely ignored me. Marty figured out the refund incorrectly, and finally Ben checked out what was going on. Even after Ben recalculated the refund correctly -- about $200 more than Marty had calculated -- Ben put Marty back on to finish the job. My entire stay today consisted of an hour and a half, when it should have taken 10 minutes. What a piece of crap store.

The sales woman there wasnt helpful at all. I asked for someone I knew worked there & she said, she didnt know anyone by that name. I said that was odd, since he is an old friend who had sold my sister her carpet and my dad a stove. I sensed she was lying.
