Decent sized restaurant supply store. Some okay prep cookware as well as pots and pans. They have a large selection of east asian specific supplies: woks, sushi mats, bamboo steamers, etc. They have some nicer dishware and you can custom order/design your own. Prices are very good. People are very pleasant.

I have to share with you my exceptional shopping experience at Forest Restaurant Supply! Salesman, Joe Liao was friendly and very helpful throughout the shopping process, checking on availability of products and expediting my order once placed, to meet my delivery needs. Then yesterday, our delivery driver, Alonzo came at the agreed upon time and quickly unloaded 4 pallets worth of cafe furniture and kitchen equipment, staging it all to help us get it up to the second floor. He then offered to take the cardboard away when he saw we were opening boxes. Fast, friendly and efficient.. what a super-star!! Id give Joe and Alonzo ten stars if the option existed. I like this place. I will come here if I need equipment for my kitchen or even equipment for cleaning. Great service, very helpful and friendly. I came looking for a large pot to cook in, and I found a good one, but they have many different things I spent a good while just looking around at their great selection. EXCELLENCE ON ALL SIDES!Drove down from Oregon to get asian style bowls and found beautiful bowls for half the price of what we found in Oregon. We were very impressed with everything about this warehouse, from the beautiful displays and proper lighting to the extremely friendly and helpful staff! Would highly recommend this business, it was well worth paying the California sales tax :-)

Ive used Forest Restaurant supply for some time commercially, but visited the Cesar Chavez street for the first time recently. They have a very good selection and good prices. The staff (thanks Daisy) was particularly attentive and helpful.

We needed chef’s padded mats for our San Francisco drive way. I know it’s an odd use for one of these. My husband bought the less padded version the first time and subsequently I had to go back a second time to get the more padded version. Each time we were helped happily with our choices.One employee, Daisy, helped us both times.The last time I rode in an Uber. She helped carry the very heavy mats to the Uber and I even was given a cup of tea to go. A good feeling place!

As a part of the non-restaurant running public, I thought it was great fun to wander around and get some restaurant grade kitchen wares. Got some great pans, baking sheets, and other goodies, but I wish that had a few things in smaller quantities (250 ct of to go containers), and a few things in higher quality (no glass measuring cups, seemingly low quality cooking utensils and other random smaller things).Overall, great fun.
