I placed an order for delivery of balloons. The order was to be delivered on Friday between 12-3. They never delivered my order.What was even worse is when I called to inquire they had their phone off the entire day I assume to avoid the calls of all the angry people on New Year’s Eve who never got their order. When they finally picked up they immediately put me on hold. I decided to hold and they kept me on hold for 1 hour and 20 minutes. I just kept holding as I went about my business. This was proof that they were doing this on purpose to avoid answering and keeping lines busy.I called the corporate at 4 pm and was told that “they are running late”. Well obviously! This was a fact I already knew when I called. But that wasn’t even accurate as I never received what I paid for.Don’t trust this company for your events as you may end up without decorations for your party.When I called for my refund I don’t even get an apology. They just said that they will process a refund and I had to wait for the corporate to approve it!!!Incompetent company with very rude customer service.Update: I had to call several times to get a refund for merchandise never received.

Typical party city. Run of the mill party supplies. Its going out of business soon so I visited for some good deals.

This was my first time at any party city. Where Have I Been? Ive been missing out! Not only is it for party favors and decorations; but the great art projects one could complete. It is great for a substitute Arts and craft store as well.

Last week I ordered balloons online for curbside pick up. I wouldve liked delivery, but my address was not where they delivered. When I got a call from the store in the morning, I mentioned that I wouldve liked delivery, the gal on the phone was nice enough to offer delivery via Uber (paid by the store). I was very pleased. Then I got a call from the manager telling me that my order did not qualify for delivery as it is less than the minimum required, however he offered to deliver himself when he got off his shift. Once again, I was very pleased! Finally he informed me in the afternoon, that the balloons are in fact being delivered by Uber, and that I will get a call from the Uber driver once it arrives at my address, and so I did! I was very impressed with their customer service, the manager went out of his way to do me a favor. Ive never been a big fan of Party City customer service, but I was pleasantly surprised by the staff at this store. They were courteous, and very willing to help. Id certainly shop there again!

Just visited the 1685 Bryant St, San Francisco, CA 94103 location.This place was PACKED and not following any safety protocols. I wasnt able to pick up items that I had scheduled for far in advance, and no one was able to assist me in person or on the phone (two hour wait with no answer) in order to have curb side pickup.By far the worst experience Ive had during the pandemic, and as a customer in general.I called corporate to get a refund, after another hour of waiting over the phone, I wasnt able to receive a full refund.Stay away from party city.

I placed an order with delivery 3 days prior to the date needed. 2 hours after the delivery window began, I got a call saying they will not be able to deliverbecause the drivers didnt want to go that far. Note, I live within the city of San Francisco, only 5 mi away. Extremely disappointed. Im glad this wasnt for a child.

The store is good you need employees the spike Spanish. And some times I dont fine what I looking for the holidays article some are to expensive.

Whats not to like about Party City? Its always a fun, sparkly bonanza. But the best part is the cashiers scripted parting words, Thanks for partying with us!It makes me giggle every time

Extremely disorganized, I received an email saying my balloons were ready for pick up. She also said I hadn’t paid for helium, which I had. Come to find out they had lost my order entirely and it took an hour for the situation to be resolved.One balloon popped and I insisted it was fine to just not include that balloon, but they said they had to include it, and requested my help in stuffing the confetti into a balloon I did not even want anymore.

Good party store. Some items are very reasonable and others are very over priced. Its easy to find parking in the lot or on the street. Dont take your kids here else they will go crazy. Lots of costumes, decorations, and fun crafty items for any type of party or event.

I had an anaphylactic reaction and almost died because of latex balloons 😞 Apparently it’s a common allergy... please stop buying latex balloons and wasting helium! It’s better to buy reusable vinyl balloons instead, no helium needed and the balloons last for weeks.

This store is really great. It has so many great things. However, during peak hours especially around holidays there are often long lines and the staff is often difficult to get help from because they are busy. I sort of gave up on getting a balloon because it was so busy last time.All in all this is a great standard party store, just make sure you have some time.

They have most of what you need. But its always those small details you end up going to Amazon for. The best part however is that its organized by color and occasion. I do wish they had more for tea parties though.

This place is awesome! Its incredible what you can find here. And, the prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend this place to anybody and everybody!

By far the biggest selection of party favors and supplies. Im blown away and spent a few hours walking around here just looking at all the options. If you know what you want the aisles are organized by seasonal or party types. Super helpful when in a rush.

After calling non-stop for about 15 minutes and no one ever picking up, someone finally answered the phone. She then put me on hold for 7 minutes only to come back to tell me they did not carry the item I was looking for. Im all about shopping locally, but its obvious that customer service is not a priority. PriorityRRetailers are complaining about no businescomplain retail

Usually like this place, but they were out of helium for their huge balloon selection! How does a party store run out if helium?! Staff is nice, though.

Placed an order online for store pickup. Didnt hear anything for over a week. Tried the self-service order lookup on the website, it couldnt locate the order, so called the 800 number and couldnt get any more information. Called the store and still couldnt get any clear answer on when the order would be available for pickup. Kind of forgot about it, still no update from the store about the order so called again last week (now several weeks since the order was placed) and spoke to a manager who said the order was ready for pickup. Went to pick it up today and they didnt have the item I ordered. Wont be shopping here again, just an abysmal lack of communication and customer service.

While the selection was massive and I was ableto find everything I was looking for, the staff was not helpful nor had any sense of urgency in regards to assisting clients. I was pretty disappointed in my experience here.

Horrible place. Missed up everything i ordered for my grannys 95th b day party. Ordered stuff 8 weeks in advance and nothing was ready or done right. Customer service was bad and the managers did a horrible job solving my problems. Will never do business there

I have no experience with this company, I live in Ohio. I would give this place negative stars seeing how they allowed someone to key in all my STOLEN card information and clean my bank account out. I called and spoke to manager and she said they are NOT allowed to ask for ID. So this company allows anyone to punch in any card info, purchase any amount without asking any questions.....HORRIBLE, UNETHICAL, UN-AMERICAN.......I called when it was pending, and they STILL didnt stop the transaction.

They usually have what you want if not they can order it .great helpful staff and if youre trying to do something for a special occasion make sure you do it in advanced save you a lot of hassle

The place to go for party supplies. They have helium for balloons and a huge selection of balloons, assorted sizes.

They say you can be a kid in Toys r Us no you can be a kid again in Party City from candy to favors plates cups forks oh yeah those balloons really help also.

They did not have any full head costumes (covering the entire head), but a few masks (in lots of colors). Reasonably priced, worth a try.
