This location (on Fillmore in SF) doesn’t appear to be open at all. I walked by today (Wednesday, in the middle of the day) and the shop was all boarded up. Perhaps the pandemic has hit the business hard? Still, it would be nice if they made note of that on their website.
Well, honestly I was a little bit thoughtful after reading past reviews of this place, but since I badly needed Oribe shampoo and a facial scrub, so I went in. Almost immediately I was greeted by a male consultant and he was charming and funny. Then I remembered that I also needed a mascara and he suggested to get some touch ups with Stacia. And here a little miracle happened- Stacia completely transformed my face in 10 minutes! I was amazed by how beautifully small touch ups turned into a beautiful make up! I got a new cheek blush, brilliant mascara and she brought me the lip color that I have been looking like for years to find.I guess its my new favourite spot now and I cant wait to refill my cosmetic bag with the new make up that Stacia will advice to get.
The worst customer experience of my life and Im actually very traumatized by the experience. Im still incredibly angry and upset about this experience and disgusted about how this was handled. I had gone in to the store after noticing they stock the candles I had been looking for, for my mom. After exiting the store, one of the male employees followed me out of the store and cut me off at the crosswalk. He reached his hand out and demanded that I return an item he apparently saw me steal on camera and threatened to call the police. I was convinced it was a joke and I went back to the store and willingly emptied out my pockets and bag. After he had looked through everything, he simply said, I dont know where you put it in a way that made it appear that he still believed I had stolen it. I had willingly gone through all my own belongings and I obviously did not have any products and he didnt even have the decency to apologize but instead had the gall to think I was still a thief. After crying for about an hour I called the store and the same employee answered. I asked to have the video sent to me and he had the gall to say he hadnt checked it closely before running after me and realized I had put the product back and he apologized for the mistake. Although I understand sometimes you have to act quick on your feet when you think someone might be stealing, the way that this was handled was horrid. He could have asked me if I could come back to the store and not outright accuse me, he could have actually watched the video properly before threatening to call the police on me and even more annoyingly so, he could have actually apologized right after I showed him all my belongings when it was obvious I had not stolen anything. This may have been a mistake and I may be overreacting but as someone that has never stolen in her life this was deeply traumatic. Is this how employees should treat their customers? Simply saying sorry, after I had left the store which was too late, doesnt fix the hour I spent crying. Whats the point of having a camera if they dont watch it properly? All I can say is that Im glad I didnt spend the $70+ I was planning to on buying candles.
An upscale cosmetics and skincare store where staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. We were looking for a particular sunscreen, but the staff knew exactly what ingredients it contains and why they didnt sell it anymore.
Good products. Snobbish staff unhelpful and make customers feel bad. Do not recommend it.
Had my Pretty Woman moment here today. Apparently my post work out look didnt rate. Had money to spend, and didnt get a hello or even do you have any questions? Snobby BS. So, i took my $500 birthday gift card elsewhere. BIG MISTAKE!
A few great brands (Byredo, Diptyque) but entered thrice today looking for service and was ignored each time. Staff was somewhat knowledgeable but I’d choose a flagship if you want product details. Good if you’re in a pinch, know what you want and need a restock.
Second time coming in and the staff is still friendly as ever. They took the time to walk us through all the scents that they had in store and even helped with questions on improving skincare routines
Nice selection of many lines....mini department store. Cosmetics. Fragrance, etc.
This beautifully curated boutique offers some of the highest quality beauty products from around the world. The service is exceptional.
