Its pretty much your standard walgreens. It is clean fully stocked with just about everything that you need from a chain pharmacy.

Long line. Always have security guard that makes you feel like this place is not secured without one. Always homeless outside.

This is one of the nicer and cleaner Walgreens. They have on-site pharmacy which is so convenient. All the employees are kind and friendly and always willing to help you or answer any question that you may have.

Just got my first vaccine dose of Pfizer! Everyone in the pharmacy and at check out and on the floor were helpful, professional, conscientious, efficient, and kind.

I went in to photo department and there was no one there. I pressed the button that would announce someone needed help in photo and waited. And waited. And waited. And pressed the button again and waited a whole lot more. All the time I was twiddling my thumbs I saw employees going in and out of the back room; each one studiously avoiding my gaze. I got tired of the game after 10 minutes and gave up.This store has the rudest staff and shadiest clientele of any Walgreens in the city. Ill be avoiding it at all costs in the future.

Well organized, streamed checkout. Good, well stocked products, inexpensive, especially Walgreens own brand Nice . Visitor or tourist needs to come to the store to pickup anything for his immediate and lasting needs, be it a food, in wide variety of snacks and drinks, items of hygiene, cosmetics. Customer service at this location is absolutely horrendous. Its as if they lie to you just too avoid having to speak to you or do anything to help you at all? Absolutely the WORST service which oddly enough took over the worst spot from ACUTE WALGREENS at 24th & Potrero. Horrible enough to make me not set foot in another Walgreens.

This Walgreens (1301 Market Street) is the WORST store I have EVER experienced and on MORE THAN ONE OCCASION!!!The customer service is non-existent (INCLUDING the MANAGER!) and the inventory is seriously lacking.When my digital coupon didnt upload for some reason, he argued with me for over 30 minutes and finally, after I corrected his misuse of the app on his own phone, he declared he wasnt going to help me because I was being stubborn and stated I would have to contact the corporate office to get my ONE DOLLAR coupon value.The last time I was there, this little punk kid, security guard-wannabe followed me around the entire time I shopped, standing so closely that it made me EXTREMELY uncomfortable (this was pre-Covid).He had observed me speaking to a homeless person across the street before I entered the store, so he assumed that I was most certainly 1) homeless and 2) a thief (neither of which was true).I will NEVER spend my money here, nor will I allow any of my friends or family waste their money & time on this den of demon spawn!

The security is horrendous! They bully everyone. They stole a Pur water filtration system from me that I had bought previously. The guard said I stole it from the store. It cost me over $36. Just because they carry the same item they assumed that I took it from there. They said they would only return it if I showed them my reciept for the item. Since I didnt have it on me they kept it. I demanded they review the security tapes to prove that I didnt steal it. But they wouldnt. They manhandled me & forced me out of the store. I tried calling the manager but he said I had to come back in the morning. I think I have to take them to court.

Okay, I tried to ask them if they have a Sani Stick which keeps drain pipes clean and clear all year and all I got was the run around. The staff got very clueless to what I was asking for.

Ive been using this store for years and I like, in fact love this particular Walgreens. Store always clean, staff friendly and very professional. Pharmacy and staff are courteous specially the type of customers they deal with most are difficult from all walk of life, but never have I seen them disrespectful to anyone. Have questions, theyre very helpful. There are times we will get slow service but honestly its not their fault. Please when reviews requested, try not to single out our own frustrations to the store specially of the virus that leads to more store closing and many unemployed. If you are so critically an expert of business how come I dont see anyone helping when they are constantly being robbed - I dont see anyone do to help to deter such acts? Walgreens did not price gauges when most do. They try to keep up with products are scarce and definitely still gives more sales than most stores out there that are cutting that priveledge we use to have. Please patience and understanding. GOOD JOB WALGREENS STAFF, mostly thank you Walgreens for helping us in times of trouble.

This Walgreens has good stock, including a number of unusual (for Walgreens) items, like Asian & Latin American foods & beverages. Have always liked this Walgreens.AND, today I was wandering aimlessly through the store, looking for gift inspiration. Found some cute socks, didnt buy em because the line was excessively long. Put the socks back, & as I was leaving a young employee accosted me saying did you put them back? The socks? Needless to say, I am extremely offended. Yes, I wandered aimlessly, lacked focus... which was true of at least 25% of the shoppers in the store. (& Id bet 33-50% of all holiday shoppers.) The only reason I can perceive to single me out from all the other aimless & unfocused shoppers is my appearance; I have facial piercings & a unique style. And this is San Francisco, a bohemian neighborhood, even.

Good location for a Walgreens to pick-up some items when heading into the city or on the way toward heading home on the BART system!

Went to store at 3:45pm bought a couple of item and milk. Got home realize no milk was packed in bags. Call store, not willing to help The milk is not the issue as it will cost me more to make my way back. The point here is customer services. Zero existence

So slow. They are overwhelmed now that the other store closed. Dont make the mistake of trying to shop here. Huge lines and only two cash registers open. Garbage everywhere. Gross.

This Walgreens is one that Ive to be very careful when entering and exiting. Sketchy characters will hit you up for change or ask you to buy a cd. I just grab a few items and wait in line being cautious of my surroundings. Ive seen undercover security rotating their shifts and shoplifters get nailed most of the time. Lines are fast moving, but be careful when you leave.

My second favorite Walgreens. This Walgreens has everything that the other larger- sized stores on Market Street have. (There are two more Walgreens on Market Street within a block or two from each other.) Ive found heating pads here, and hair brushes, styling gel and more. This store can get packed, but thats all the Walgreens that Ive been in, in the city.Tip: for less waiting, I go to the store on Powell and go to the upstairs registers (usually someone is there). Sometimes the downstairs line goes really fast because there are multiple registers open. Ive never seen less than three people working them.

Loved this store. Typical Walgreens, but they carried British chocolate. Awesome.

Be careful when buying fruits and other fresh items from this store. A pack of spoiled fruits make me stay at the hotel during all day in a beautiful sunny Sunday in SF.

Allen or allan gave me the worst customer sevice. Very sarcastic and lacking basic manners. I hope he can just find another job that makes him less miserable. I know they deal with lots of crazies out there but that’s not a reason to treat everyone with disrespect especially if that customer was being friendly and nice.

Dont take pictures here anytime. Especially for passport photo printing is the worst.

It’s really crowded, dirty and messy. People are not so kind and helpful here either. in terms of options and products it’s not the best around the city either

I was in this Walgreens at 11.12 pmI gave one star because the security was rude. I just ask him. To move a little for I can get my stuff but he didn’t do it.If there is problem between the security and the management. Please, can you solve your problems? Don’t be rude with costumers.

I USE TO GO HERE NOW I GO TO MISSION WELNESS AN I AM....impressed with them..Joanne was so understanding, friendly...and understood exactly the PROBLEMS I WAS having with 2 locations of Walgreens on Market at 9th and then the little Rachel and Pharmacist mr Lu or Chew neither of them could get a hold of my doctor to get my prescriptions that were all written at the same time on the same day..they were both at the 4th and Townsend locationsYES I had to fire both locations of Walgreens for the reason below.They were always off on the refill days and had to wait weeks to get themIts gave me a good understanding why SF has so many mental homeless. Its the incompetence of pharmacists like the one at Wallgrens with third rate pharmacy techs from faux colleges who do not really understand medicine, and the importance of taking it regularly and on time.Can one only imagine what a person who is bi polar goes through?..let alone a person diagnosed with schizophrenia????🤪😭🤪😡😱Why is City Hall and San Francisco Health Department investigating this in justice to the people of SF we have a Wallreens. I got there almost 15 minutes before closing time and they didnt let me in.

This is not my regular walgreens store, but its a lot bigger. So when i cant find something at my walgreens i go here. About once a month.i went in there today for a mini food chopper, they had it but the seal was broken so i passed on it(on to target). As i was leaving i thought Id check out the makeup. When i went down the aisle, i saw security hassrling a girl for no reason, and when he finished with her. He set his sights on me. He aggressively asked me if i need help (not with a helping tone/vibe), i said no thank you and kept walking. He immediately stopped me again and said that i had had a incident with him before, when i told him i barely come into the store and that his was mistaking me for someone else. He then asked what I had put in my bags. I showed him my bags and told him that I did not steal. At that point he had grabbed a pen out of my bags and told me I had stolen it from the store. I showed him the receipt from Office Depot showing that I had purchased everything in the bag. He still didnt believe me and had started telling me that I had been banned from the store. Then he scanned my item at the register with a lady and it showed that the item was not sold at this store. After hed been proved wrong he did not apologize, instead he kicked me out. And said Im not allowed to come in anymore. I felt very threatened and started to get a panic attack, Im still shaky writing this. I would like to see the security tape showing me stealing like he accused me of.

Love this Walgreens and its location. It has everything that a Walgreens should have. But the checkout lines are very long.
