Dedicated and friendly grocers who really know their stock, and have something to meet just about any daily need. They stock high quality foods and brands, bulk dried fruits and nuts, useful produce, and an unusually great wines/beers/liquor selection for a bodega. Prices reasonable/competitive with other San Francisco natural-leaning foods shops. I lived nearby during pandemic, and appreciated their thoughtful covid protocols and always well ventilated shop too.
Everything you could want in a corner store. Fresh produce, Acme bread, beautiful flower bouquets, all your basic staples, and an excellent beer and wine selection. Since the pandemic began, I have been coming here a lot more often. They have a safe setup and there are usually not more than about 5 people in the store at any given time.
Very nice customer service by the cashier, great selection of coffees and wines.
My favorite corner market! Great fruits and vegetables as well as organic and gluten free foods. Good wine selection. A little pricey but the selection and service make up for it
Quality products and very decent produce, serviced by the kindest, gentlest owners and staff. Wine, beer and spirits are also choice. Such a handy grocer to have in the neighborhood!
Well done with the spacing out here. Good customer relations too. Very helpful without getting in your face.
Very well stocked and reasonably priced grocery store steps away from home. Always kind and polite staff ready to help you find what you are looking for.
Pretty disappointed with the quality of my $10 deli sandwich. Ive had substantially better at a dozen other stops in SF.
Nice friendly neighborhood store with a good selection.
Extremely helpful staff, wide selection of quality products.
The best grocery store in the neighbourhood. They have a great selection of produce and fresh bread. Everything is reasonably priced. The staff is friendly.
Everything is $5.00 or more. SUPER OVER PRICED
Quality items, always friendly service
What would we do without you?! Thank you.
Wide variety of great food of excellent quality.
This neighborhood market really is a dream come true. Of course it’s more expensive than a full grocery store but they magically have everything you could need to make or complete a meal. From produce to almond milk to nice wine. It’s one of the hidden perks of Bernal.
Nice place but unfortunately the produce is no longer delightfully inexpensive the way it used to be. I used to make special trips to come here but I doubt Ill do that anymore. Its obviously convenient if you are in the neighborhood though
We rely on Harvest Hills Market for fresh, organic produce, which is usually top-notch. They have a wonderful, seasonal selection of produce, including more exotic items like Meyer lemons, persimmons, and kumquats from time to time. They have a small space, so their stock is limited at times, but they keep the shelves stocked with the staples that any neighborhood grocery needs. They carry a small selection of organic/fresh meat (chicken and beef, mostly), and an appealing variety of sausages. They also have plenty of food for those who are on a vegetarian or gluten-free diet--their selection of pasta alternatives is fantastic. What is truly notable, though, is their wine collection. They have a great selection of reds and whites, ranging from about $8 to $50/bottle. They also have a good-sized liquor selection, which they are showcasing in a recently remodeled case behind the front counter. The aisles are narrow and sometimes navigating them with a basket when there are more than a few people in the shop can be tricky. That said, Harvest Hills is an anchor in the Mission/Bernal area--we really hope it will be around for a long time!
Good selection of products, nice staff as well
I used to be one of the few who did their weekly shop here, but now it seems the whole neighborhood has discovered what a gem Harvest Hills is 😅 The store can get a little cramped in the late afternoon, but go on an off hour and its totally fine.
Great convenient store! Such a gem for this neighborhood
Very convenient for the neighborhood. Tons of produce for a corner store at ok prices. Lots and lots of selection in general. Lots of interesting, unique seasonal produce.Waaaay to pricey on everything not produce. A sign that was up in the store arguing they arent pricey but on many items (again not produce) they are even more than double Whole Foods. Male staff isnt especially friendly for a local corner store.
Great place! The people there are very nice and welcoming, very clean and nice looking, big variety of FRESH PRODUCE and Carries all of your normal goods that a naiborhood store would pluse more!
Amazing selection and prices on produce for a corner store.
Surprisingly large selection, fair price
Great place ! Really nice owners :)
Cheaper produce, convenient location (less if you drive, so walk or bike!)
Small corner store with fresh produce and natural foods.
A wide variety of fresh produce.
This is an excellent organicky convenience store
Its ok
Small friendly store with fresh goods
Nice little neighborhood market, but rather expensive.
7.95$ for a no-pulp orange juice
Good selection but expensive
So good!
Friendly
Nice store with a fairly varied and high quality product. The wine selection is especially good.
Good appetite!
Excellent variety of seasonal and organic products.
Excellent organic products, of course more expensive than average.
