Lovely little shop for clothing materials. Came in for a custom made mask and was very happy with the quality. They help local schools promoting self help on cloth making. Check it out for a hobby or teach your child a wonderful skill.

Loving this new store in downtown Flagstaff! They have a great selection of beautiful fabrics - from cotton quilting to minkie to rayons and more. Lynn is a genius at design and teaching. My daughter is taking a class and really enjoying it. I’ve never been able to get her interested in sewing clothes and Lynn has her designing her own outfit and making it! For such a small store they do a great job of stocking and when you think you’ve realized something they don’t carry, they pop some out for you. Cork, ribbons, needed, pins, etc... Oh! And the needlepoint. They have an extraordinary collection of needlepoint canvases and kits. A new gem in town - you won’t want to miss!

Lynn was an absolute delight in getting my wedding dress fitted. My dress had a complicated design and she made it fit beautifully and created a lovely bustle. I can’t recommend her enough!

I was referred to WeeScotty by LovelyBride SF and saw their good Yelp score that made me feel like they were the right choice for my dress alterations. I shouldve done a better job of filtering through reviews because I found many eerily similar experiences to mine and even worse reviews for Lynnes sewing class where she even belittles children. After paying $900 to Wee Scotty for incomplete and unsatisfactory alterations, I had to get it finished with a family friend whos a tailor back home in Florida where I was getting married. Our family friend not assured me that the way Wee Scotty did business with me was textbook of shady tailors, when she worked on my dress she saw sloppy work that I didnt even know the half of.I dont want any bride to go through what I did with Lynne, SHE MADE ME HATE PUTTING MY WEDDING DRESS ON. She was a bully that refused alterations I asked for, it took 4 fittings to adjust the simplest requests (hem, strap length), and at the end I was given a bill for $900 and a laundry list of alterations (only given upon adamant request) to justify her exorbitant price. Even though I expressed my concerns to her, I still did not receive and itemized invoice for all of the services and how much time each one took. There were 2 things on that list that I was billed for that were said to her on my way out as potential things I might want to talk about at our next fitting-things she never took action on- that she still refused to remove from my bill.Lynnes MO became very clear in hindsight: She unnecessarily prolongs the alteration process to several sessions, gives you a vague response about what work was done from the last session (then makes a joke to deflect the question), and never informs you about how your time is adding up and when you ask doesnt give you a breakdown of why just tell you a number. What I gather from this is that she doesnt actually do the work herself, theres no accurate log of timing so she can inflate prices (she charges $85/hr), and she prolongs the process to give you a sense that shes putting a lot more time into your dress than she is.From our tailor friend who had to finish my dress: They attempted to fix the waistline but ran it through the sewing machine 5 times over the same spot, instead of redoing her mistake on the uneven hem she instead put a dart on the liner of the dress, she used an old frayed cotton string as the loop for my bustle instead of using a premium material and hiding the loop within the existing design of the dress, the list goes on and on... Not only are they incompetent tailors technically, they prove to not have taste in making the right aesthetic choices.Nobody should go through that experience leading up to an already stressful event.

Lynne is amazing and so good at what she does! She handled my delicate Lihi Hod dress from Marina Morrison perfectly and I could not have been happier with her work. My dress was covered in sequins and had this beautiful hem that I wanted to make sure still looked like how Lihi designed since it would need to be taken up a few inches. Lynn was also able to sew cups into my dress, which I was actually the most nervous about because the top was shear with a floral design. I didnt want these to show through or take away from the dress, but really my fear was for nothing. The cups filled out the top and added a tailored look that I wouldnt have had if I had decided not to get them. Such a better option than those sticky cups that are known to come off when you sweat or its really hot outside. My appointments always ran smooth, Lynne was always very professional and on time and knew exactly what she was doing. My advice to other Brides is make sure you listen to her, get your wedding shoes prior to first fitting as well as any undergarments so that Lynne can work with you and alter the dress around these items! I would highly recommend Lynne, shes not just professional and good at what she does, shes really sweet and fun too. Thanks Lynne for being a huge part to the success of my dress being flawless, I had a ton of compliments.
