Nice market with food places inside. Ideal for young professionals in the area. At the time we visited the coffee shop had shuttered (since Tweeter staff will not come back to the offices upstairs). Didnt see bathroom for customers (a sign said they had no bathroom) so we had to go to the hotel right after. One thing we noticed missing from other reviews was sitting areas (they do have tables and sitting inside the market in several areas)

I always come here for a slice of pizza. Today, Ive decided to go with a burger. The burger is large, so Ive decided to cut it in half and eat the other half later, just to find out the burger is raw inside, in fact still icy inside. I had to throw it all away. I work 6 blocks away, and Ive only had 20 minutes left. I didnt have time to return it and come back. The number theyve provided on their website doesnt work. So I decided to email them. I got a quick response from the manager, my money was refunded and she also was kind enough to provide me with another burger. So instead of the initial 1 star, Im changing it to a 3 because their pizza are delicious. If you are getting the burger, I definitely recommend you to open them to make sure they are properly cook before heading out the door.

The history of The Market isn’t about our founders or our business. It’s about something much larger.Communities have always been built around food, where the local market was at the center. You’d go to the fishmonger for the catch of the day and come away with the news of the day. A stop at the butcher would yield a choice steak for a great price and a slice of life advice for free.

They have some good stuff but they are extremely dirty and there is obviously no direction from management … watch them .. the fish and meat people never wear gloves and put their dirty hands all over their face and clothes then they touch the food … i get salmon there all the time and never once have they worn gloves over the past couple years . even during the pandemic!! (not buying anymore) .. they come out from the back where they are working then they touch the fish and meat with their bare hands

Great place to link up with friends for a great variety of bites and drinks. If you’re like me, love food way too much, and want to try everything, this can be tough. Meh... half the staff is cranky, Ive had issues with them refreezing ice cream when it was thawed due to a fridge malfunction (this is not just noticeable in the texture of the ice cream, it is also dangerous), Ive ordered delivery from them once, I live literally across the street and it arrived cold, and they are too arrogant to take SNAP/ EBT (its a pandemic, people fall on hard times, yet they clearly dont give a hoot; not to worry, Ill order my food from Amazon from now on). On the pricey side for groceries, but considering where its located, that shouldnt come as a surprise. Generally clean and well stocked with basics. Just dont come here looking for more exotic ingredients. Nice to have all the food vendors in one spot, though some are better than others (hint: avoid tacos). Update: stumbled in on Taco Tuesday for $2 tacos from 2P.M. to 5P.M. No, the uninspiring tacos prepared on cold tortillas are still definitely not worth it.

This market is across the street from me and although I love the convenience of shopping there, I have been noticing more and more unsanitary things at this place. Today I went to get salad from their salad bar. I saw a female worker wearing gloves on both hands touching all the serving spoons and then directly picking out foods with the same gloved hands and sorting foods to the right food trays. For example, she was grabbing cherry tomatoes that fell in the next tray full of fresh pineapple chunks with her gloved hands (the same gloves that she touched/grabbed all the serving spoons with) and putting them in the next tray with tomatoes. As she was picking foods and sorting them with her dirty gloves, I pictured someone came out from the bathroom without washing hands and used those spoons to get salad. And this food servicing woman spreading the gross germs by touching the spoons and the foods with the same gloves.Honestly, this wasn’t the first time. It seems these workers wear gloves to protect their hands and not our foods. It was so sad to see people eating/getting the same salad without even knowing about this woman spreading germs. I felt so goss to imagine how we pay high prices at this Market place, but end up getting contaminated foods. That was SO unhealthy, unhygienic and is NEVER okay. I even told the woman what she was doing was absolutely unacceptable. She did not say a single word.I know many people walk out ignoring the need for reporting to the management. I also left but I told the market manager. Hopefully, the management can train their food/service workers well to keep this market a better healthy place to go to.

Fairly pricey for its food (think $13 sandwiches, $17 pizza, and $4 tacos), what gets it going for The Market is its location and its bevy of great tasting and healthy ingredients. The sandwiches, pizzas and tacos are double the cost of what you would find in other stores and cafes but you do get what you pay for in terms of taste and freshness of the ingredients. In addition to the food mentioned, they also have several sections to get coffee, macaroons, ice cream, wine and sushi. It is also a convenient place to get some fruits, vegetables, or prepared foods for those who work or live nearby.Overall, the price may turn off some people from coming back as regulars, but they do know who their target customers are, as they are located in the same building as the headquarters of Twitter.
