My hp laptop would not turn on. I took it to this store and they charged $125 to diagnose the issue.They told me that the motherboard needed to be replaced and it would cost $406. I decided not to have my laptop repaired and asked them to close it; they did a very sloppy job; all the screws were loose and I ended up paying $125. A friend of mine was able to fix my laptop with less than a $100. I wish I hadnt taken my laptop there in the first place.Dont trust them with your laptops.

Great service and location! Ive loved my three experiences here. I will say that I prefer them for service rather than any of their retail products. But if you need something fixed, upgraded, etc, Sweet Memory is the best place to go. Super-friendly, authentic, and super-fast. Try booking a memory upgrade elsewhere and youd have to schedule days in advance, but at Sweet Memory you can just walk in and get it done -- not in some hidden back room, either.My suggestion to them for improvement is to focus on quality inventory rather than low-price inventory, or at least to capture a fuller spectrum of price/quality items.

I took in my External Drive to be recovered. It was a tedious process but they were able to recovery what was recoverable on the drive. Their Service was excellent. ..I do recommend this company and it seems to be the only place in the Higher Financial district perimeter.Thanks for your help..

Absolutely great service and a fast turnaround...Why was I ever going to Best Buy, where they told me at least 2 weeks to get my desktop fixed? Dario got it done in one day and got more performance out of it! This is the place to get your desktop or laptop taken care of.

I dropped a hard drive off to see if they could retrieve the memory.$150 to take a look - not a problem.Week goes by - nothing2 weeks - their system crashed, start over.3 weeks - Get a notice that my drive cant be fixed and I should come get it. So I ask why it took 3 weeks to figure it out. They respond with oops, wrong person, were still working on yours.One month - 1.6 TB retrieved, sounds great, slow but great that the data is alive.5 weeks - Pick up my drive, pay another $125 which seemed decent, only catch is they didnt actually transfer the data. Nothing actually ended up on the new drive. Excuse was that it was corrupt. Okay, then tell me you recovered nothing, not 1.6TB of data that you literally didnt even transfer to the drive you charged me to transfer nothing to.Asked for my money back and they complied. Except they didnt. Just simply didnt do it.Asked again and they apologized and said they were on it. Still have not been refunded.I dont think theyre crooks, they all seem nice. Just super incompetent and terrible with communication.

Sam and his team have been great. I manage over 60 idevices and take all repair needs to them for off warranty devices. they are quick, affordable and a nice group of folks to deal with.they never miss a beat to communicate and to make accurate estimates for work.

Took my computer to Stev after my hard drive crashed. He replaced the hard drive and even helped to recover some files. Stev charged a fair price and was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and honest throughout the process. He genuinely cared about helping my situation and was committed to finding a solution. Seems like a really great guy, and Ill definitely use his services again in the future.

This place is amazing. I called in about getting my iphone 6 screen repaired. The owner was extremely nice and accommodating. I went in around lunchtime and since it was a little repair, I was in and out of the store in less than 5 minutes. I poured coffee all over my new mac book pro retina 13.3 late 2013. I was devastated. two different labs wanted to replace what they thought was the problem and could not guarantee that after replacing the computer would work again. I found Sweet Memory on Yelp and had the computer brought to them. They offered to fix it for less than half the price, kept me up to date about what was going on with the repair they had to order a part in and now the computer works beautifully again. I heartily recommend!

I spilled water all over my 2013 macbook air while I was visiting CA for work, and they found me a better computer that was double the speed for a super affordable fair price. I purchased a new (desktop) computer yesterday. I got it home, hooked it up, and discovered there was no built in WiFi. Stunned, I immediately headed for Sweet Memory as I know they will have what I need to get going. I get there and they have what i need but when looking at the product i realized that it was the little thing that came with my machine that looks like a kb/m dongle. I didnt know what it was for so i set it to the side during setup. They were able to save me the trouble of buying one and then realizing i had the same thing already at home and having to come back for the return. So I purchased the Bluetooth Dongle from them instead... knew i would need that ;) YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!!! Im on my way back this AM for some connecting wires for my gaming headset!

Nightmarish experience getting a Samsung phone repaired. Go here at your own risk.Went in with a Samsung phone that had a broken headphone jack. In the process of repairing my phone, they cracked my screen and charged me an additional $300 to replace my screen. After repair, the headphone jack still did not work. They said it was likely a firmware issue and they couldnt do anything about it.Two weeks later my charging port stops working, and I can only charge my phone wirelessly. Additionally, the screen they broke and replaced was a horrible knockoff. It immediately got a number of huge scratches / gouges, while my original screen never did. The screen then shattered 3 weeks later after it fell 3 feet. To make matters worse management wasnt even apologetic and when discussing immediately went into legal / defense mode.

I had the worst experience ever with this store, they sure fixed the glass screen on my phone but they did something to the volume buttons, they disable them somehow. I dont know if purposely done or not.I took it back to them and told them about the problem they created. I was told an additional $20 charge will be applied to fix the volume buttons they destroyed after paying $70 for the broken glass.Its sad to see that some stores still use this tactic and scams just to charge you extra.watch out people from this unethical people in this store
