I loved this! I came here for the cheese selection and they were an easy 5 stars! The service was above and beyond, giving descriptions of cheese and making me feel even more excited to try my purchase. I brought them home from across the bay and I could hardly wait to open the box! They included a guide to slicing each type of cheese and the presentation of the package was fitting for the mouth watering treats inside. Im hoping to go again soon!

First of all, how Dogpatch is this? Our very own Parisian cheese shop. 🤤😂La Fromagerie is downright incredible. The staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient (ask for all the free samples youd like!). In addition to the staples (freshly grated Parmesan Reggiano to finish that pasta), youll also find exquisite French cheeses that whole foods doesnt carry.Pair with a bottle from Dig Wines and youre all set for the afternoon.

FWIW this is usually a great place that has a great selection of cheeses and very good sandwiches/service.The person working behind the counter at lunch on Aug 20 was not wearing their mask properly. (Below the nose)When I asked them to put the mask over their nose they responded by saying it was not a N95 mask. They then offered to to double mask arguing about the effectiveness and efficacy of masking.I replied that I was not there to argue and decided to have lunch elsewhere.This person could have adjusted their mask when I entered and could have adjusted their mask at my request. When they chose to argue I chose to leave.Its a pandemic, where your mask properly.The owner has responded and I am updating the rating but leaving the review. We get through this by everyone doing their part. Thank you for taking the time to read and talk with your staff.

I’ve been a long time fan of La Fromagerie for their catered sandwiches. My favorite is the Le Toulous with smoked duck, fig, and arugula.I recently tried a cheese & charcuterie platter here and loved that as well! The presentation is on point, they use quality ingredients, and I feel the price is reasonable given the generous portions.They also sell a good selection of imported wine and beer. Pair with some of the grazing boxes, and you are picnic ready!

We were extremely pleased with the cheese from La Fromagerie. Last week, we hosted a virtual wine and cheese tasting and everyone loved ALL the cheeses. Tomas helped us pick out wonderfully tasting cheeses that would hold up well for shipping. 100% recommend, and would definitely order again!

Excellent selection of cheeses and wines, including some hard to find stuff. The prices are not bad, especially considering what youre getting. We also picked up one of their sourdough baguettes and it was really delicious too.Also, customer service was great. The guy working when we went was from France and very knowledgeable about his products. He helped us pick the right cheese and wine for our dish and was very patient explaining each.

Be careful! The sandwiches are very addictive. Crunchie and delicious. I stop at this location always as possible. You will never regret it!

This is my new, ultimate favorite cheese shop! With a wide selection of cheeses that are reasonably priced, as well as accompaniments such as cracks, wine, and charcuterie, I can see myself coming here again and again. There are great sandwiches to order, and even a picnic package for a nice outing.Ive only had the chance to try a few cheeses so far, but I can definitely say the Truffle Gouda was something worth trying. My favorite crackers from Rustic Bakery are also sold here, though it seems like Rosemary Olive Oil is too popular! If youre in the need for some delicious cheese, make sure you stop here.

So delish! Got the breakfast sandwich with bacon. The cheese was perfectly melty and flavorful. The egg was just the right amount of runny. The bread was soft and fresh. Good quality bacon.Wish I could have returned to try more items, mainly a cheese platter. Great option for breakfast to go in the ferry building marketplace.

Had the Le Provençal, and it was delightful! The cheese and veggies were delicious and the flavors blended well together, and I was impressed with how much arugula they gave me as my side salad, as well! I will definitely return.Side note: this place is not very well set up to dine in, so youll be happier taking your sandwich to go.

A wonderful little cheese shop. The delicious scent of fresh bread and cheese hits you right when you walk in. Their cheese selections are nicely organized into categories of soft, semi-soft, and hard. Prices range from around $7-$25 per pound.Aside from cheese the shop is filled with fancy pasta, bread and crackers, jams, pates, TRUFFLE butter, and more. Shopping here makes me feel like Im in Paris.

One of the best cheese shops in the city. I ran into these guys at a Yelp event months ago and had forgotten about them until now. Staff really knows their cheeses and meats and there is always an excellent selection. A must shop stop before hosting a party or to just expand your cheese horizons.

This place was recommended by a friend who told me the employees take their time with you and encourage you to try any cheese you like. So I visited the shop and thats exactly what happened. A few other people came in while I was there and we all asked questions and enjoyed learning all about some hard to find cheeses. Definitely worth checking out.

A beautiful cheese shop in our ever growing Dogpatch neighborhood. Delicious cheeses. Nice selections. Love their fresh bread with olives! Great customer service and they also do special cheese plates for your special party/occasion. I particularly love their frozen chocolate croissant. Devine!

Amazing cheese and ham, but veeeery slow service. We were the only ones in the store and somehow had to wait for 20 minutes for an employee to cut 3 pounds of cheese. Be prepared to wait..

Great quality, but not as much cheese as I expected. To me, much more of a lunchtime sandwich shop with great cheese than a cheese shop. Odd hours, IMO.

This place is a cheese lovers dream. They will even do taste testing a for you. Make sure to try the truffle cheese with an ash outside. It is to die for! They also have pate in the case located towards the back of the store.

Cheeses rock, a little pricey but theres literally nowhere else to get all these cheeses in SF. Theres not a lot more to say about this place. It literally just sells you tons of different cheeses and doesnt try to be anything else. Luckily the staff really knows what theyre doing and will spend the time to help you pick out exactly what you want.

Expensive! But wow... I fell in Love with Gruyere cheese the first time I tried it, but havent been able to find any good quality until this place. Totally worth the price if youre a cheese lover!

Has a variety of cheeses and some dried meats (was only place I could find that sold bresaola). They also sell sandwiches there but did not purchase one.

Really good products at a great price, and great service. They have everything for fondues and raclettes, they even rent the raclette/fondue appliances.
