I went there for quick late lunch with a friend. There are no line but it was 2pm. The got my order wrong twice once at the cash register and I corrected it because I could see the mistake on screen and then later (much later since they took their time) when they brought it to the table. When I say they got the order wrong I mean completely wrong item not missing or forgetting to take something out. The food however was good portion and tasted great even though it was heavy on garlic. Two sandwiches came to around $35. It is SF prices for you!
This cafe was located on the walk from our hotel to Pier 39. I ordered a Chai Latte and my husband got a Macchiato. We split their ‘Award winning croissant sandwich’ with avocado. The coffee was good and the sandwich was big enough to split in half since we just wanted a little snack to hold us over. The wait time for the sandwich was a little long, but we didn’t have anywhere to be so it was fine. They offer a self service and pay option which is super nice and they also have online ordering.*Super cute bonus - they have a little dish with free cookies you can enjoy with your coffee. Don’t forget to get one when you pick up your food at the pick up area.
Not a good service.2$ for xtra shot and large sized ice latte ( with xtra shot) costs you 7 dollars and their large size cups for iced drinks are actually medium sized.bullshit if you ask me.coffee is good but not that good.SF is expensive but that doesnt give you excuse to be greedy and rip people off
The station is one of those cafes where you can tell the owner and staff is passionate about what they do. The food and drinks are great, staff is so friendly and on top of everything, and the vibe is always welcoming. I often order to-go, but Im always happy when I can take an hour and enjoy a lunch at the counter-top overlooking the nice view of the street, or bring a friend and chat over a coffee. This place is my top recommendation if youre in the area.
Great food ....I had the croissant sandwich with Bacon!! Service was good as well as the atmosphere. Downside was the fact I paid almost 20$ for a sandwich and a large tea
The google maps page should have at least three dollar signs, as this is one of the most expensive coffee shops Ive been to. For twenty bucks you can get a coffee and a reheated wrap (which tastes great, once you get over the resentment). I asked for my food and coffee for here, but was given everything in to go containers. There are worse things than a macchiato in a paper cup, but you cant buy any of them at a coffee shop. My main gripe is that although there are plenty of large tables, all of the (once plentiful) power outlets have been covered over, so dont expect to get much working time in exchange for your large investment in this establishment.
SO GOOD!!! We stopped here for coffee and a bite on a Sunday Morning and were so glad we did. The service was amazing& the food and coffee was absolutely stellar! All five of us in our group got different items on the menu and absolutely loved everything we got. The station, the prime rib sandwich and the foccacia lox were definite favorites.
The best breakfast I ate in San Francisco during this trip. Prices are pretty high but usual for this city. Grilled cheese & bacon is good. Sandwich is served with a large portion of fresh salad. Good coffee
Fantastic coffee (they use Sight glass) and friendly staff. Nice place to hang out and work too if youre that way inclined. My only gripe is that they can be a little slow making coffees at times. Depends on the barista though.
Russell did a great job handling my case. Most importantly he was attentive, honest and punctual. I have since referred him to my friends and colleagues and they all have thanked me.
An excellent place for a special breakfast. They pay a lot of attention to detail. Its my go to place lately.
Great service, good coffee, nice sandwhiches, what else do you need?
Great coffee, friendly staff. food was pretty good. A nice place to have a small breakfast.
Excellent coffee and breakfast croissant! A bit spendy, but very good. No waiting at about 10 oclock on a Saturday morning.
Nothing speaks Northern California more than a cloudy morning at a coffee shop. Im from SoCal, so this was very different and a great experience to take in.Yea, its pricy, but it is NorCal and local, so with that logic, it isnt right to take any stars off.Parking is quite a challenge though.
Very good coffee and pastries but not satisfied with the customer service. I ordered a one shot cortado and got a double shot decaf cortado. The Australian guy up front could have told me that they don’t do one shots and I could have chosen differently.
Roomy coffee shop with counter food. Food is a little pricey but coffee is good. Outdoor seating on nice days...and open on weekends (unlike a lot of places nearby).
Excellent place!!! One of the best caffe lattes Ive had. Its off the beaten path in a small space but super cute. Friendly staff and wifi. Wont disappoint
Good Coffee Shop with very good lunch menu too!
The best coffee on Columbus lives here. I tried about 5 different places before Station and I became a loyalist for sure.
Unique place! Awesome!! service was great and coffee tasted delicious. Barista was super professional!!
Try their breakfast sandwich and the pesto wrap. Both are great! All the coffee drinks too. This is probably not a place to get lunch everyday, since most menu items are on the expensive side, but worth it for the quality of ingredients.
Friendliest coffee shop around. I pass by it all the time and am happy to see the seats filled often. I like the choices of beverages... especially (even though its actually the pop-ups) the almond-date drink. Tastes like vanilla ice cream.
Good coffee and a convenient corner spot to get some work done or just meet up with a friend.
Awesome food. Id recommend it to everyone
Its ok.
Great selection of teas and coffee. The roiboos latte is a welcome option for a caffeine-free drinker like me. Good place for a casual business meeting.
Great healthy food, tasty coffees, and nice people serving. We eat here every time were in town.
Egg on a croissant costs $9. I understand margins and overhead, but something just doesnt add up
Great sandwiches!! And coffee. A bit pricey. Fun staff.
The Station SF for coffee tea and my ice matcha almond milk. So cool theyre ok w/doggie .Not so great area but Very chill environment.
Nice spot for a quick bite or a cup of coffee. Its on the pricey side, but its all about whether you like their roast or not.
Omg Im in love with coffee and have some how not come across this place yet and its so great! I walked in and there was chill as hell music and Palo santo and the sweetest barista Kendra who welcomed my over talkativeness with chill warmth. She asked me questions about how I prefer my coffee and gave me something of her own concoction and it was soooooo good
The station makes the best lattes! Its always great for a pick me up and their environment is very inviting.
One of the best lattes in town so far. Nice atmosphere. Good mellow music and mostly natural lighting.
Delicious bacon tomato and cheese panini. Good and hot! Although the extra piece of bacon on the side was rather odd. It was clearly supposed to be in half that had less bacon. Would order it again. Also got iced chai latte. It was a good 40% ice. It is okay. Wouldnt order it again, especially not at $4.Place is quite attractive in a hip spare industrial chic way. Seating not comfortable and there isnt much of it.Lots of people here with laptops. Dont come here for peace and quiet, but the food is good. Not cheap, but worth it I think.
Delicious breakfast sandwich and great sightglass coffee. No bathroom though...
Great spot good coffee and awesome croissant!!
This was our favorite coffee shop on vacation. The staff there was awesome!! My wife felt like a regular after a few visits.
Food is great and coffee too however if you are looking for a space to work this is not the space you are looking for. No plugs and they recently added a wifi-policy where they give 1-hour foe every purchase and NO wifi between 11:30-1:30 pm. I didnt know this and got surprised :(
Love the place. Friendly staff good coffee!
Delicious sandwiches. Great location with huge windows looking out on busy Columbus Street. No outlets, unfortunately.
Thought it was a quick bite to eat. Took 20 mins to get a sandwich with no lines.
Nice cafe and food options, cool location and GREAT restroom.
Hidden Gem. Great quality food and coffee
Food was great and service was impeccable. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Love the vibe and drink, the team is super nice and welcoming!
Food was good but not for the price. Service was ok
Very minimalist place. Just a cup of coffee and a table. They close early.
Not too popular so no lines — but incredible breakfast sandwich and great coffee.
Very visually appealing indoors with interesting coffee machines to look at. They dont have much options on the menu.
Food: 4Decor: 3Service: 2Came here for a bite to eat before an exam.1. Turkey panini, 10~Pretty good. Panini was grilled perfectly, and the quinoa salad was a nice side.2. Granola and fruit yogurt cup, 5~Okay. Everything was good, but the granola had a bit too much honey.Service is mostly self-serve, so you get your own water and bus your own trays back.
Decent coffee (cappuccino) but slow service and their counter food could be improved. Kudos for the cold pressed juice and cute pop up shop though.
Great place to get coffee - highly recommend the Cortado for that shot of caffeine without all the dairy.Good place to have catch ups in the neighborhood, although they dont allow wi-fi/computer use during peak times. Havent tried the food but looks good.
Good placw to stop by for lunch for some coffee or sandwiches. They have some outdoor seating and lots of sunny seats, assuming its sunny outside.
Food is super good. Coffee is spot on. Just prepare for a line and city prices!
This cafe grew quickly in popularity since opening. Youll love it too if youre a fan of Blue Bottle Coffee and light modern American cuisine. Give their panini sandwiches a try. They also have free wifi, with adequate outlets and tabletops for laptops and books. Often they share space with a different pop-up business, which you might want to check out if your curiousity leads you to. Now if the Station would stay open longer, that would be an improvement.
I was a bit dazed when I walked in, the guy behind the counter was helpful and pleasant. Will be coming back.
Back when I worked next to Union Square, lunch options were plenty. Although I spent a lot more of my lunches at the mall … Now I work at the tail end of the Financial District, a food & shopping wasteland. My options are to venture up to my childhood stomping grounds of Chinatown or walk a good 15 minutes to the Ferry Building or Embarcadero. So I’m always excited to see new restaurants come into the neighborhood. The Station is a bright and beautiful cafe, serving Blue Bottle Coffee and a seasonal menu of salads, sandwiches, and soups. The Foccacia and Lox I had is on their breakfast menu, but served until 4:30. What’s really fun about The Station is their partnership with popup shops.
Food and coffee are both awesome and staff is very friendly.
Great coffee and good food.
Excellent coffee, snacks and food.
Good pour-over coffee. And artisanal organic raw cane sugar. So..
The green chili soup is delicious!
Decent enough coffee house serving blue bottle coffee. Coffee was great, breakfast sandwich just ok
Croissant breakfast sandwiches are really good! A bit expensive, but if you want to treat yourself - the coffee is delicious as well.
Great atmosphere and decorations. My espresso was creamy with a smooth finish.
Best coffee in San Francisco. Stopped here on our last day before heading back to Seattle, wish we found this place earlier.
Its a ok place. Coffee is good, but there are many great coffee places in SF downtown.
Tasty and fresh! The staff are really accommodating as well.
Best mocha and coffee in the surrounding area.
Chai tea was just okay, nothing special. Iced coffee was delicious.
$3.00 pour overs. Thats cheaper than most Portland coffee shops! Oh and the serve Sightglass coffee.
Awful coffee, very overpriced. I’d head across the street if I were you.
Good coffee and service. Id come back.
Great Sunday morning coffee and breakfast sandwich place.
Nice coffee shop for relaxing or working
Good food, but pricey
Not bad for lunch, and or coffee.
Great place for breakfast or brunch
Spacious, tasty, a bit expensive
I like this one better than on Bush st downtown area.
Incredible coffee, spectacular staff.
Decent coffee, healthy food choices, seating is a bit cramped
No outlets, and its incredibly hot.
Friendly staff, delicious sandwiches and salads, and of course Blue Bottle coffee!
Very nice breakfast
The Station serves Sightglass coffee not Blue Bottle coffee.
Croissants are excellent!
Great coffee!
They have a delicious iced coffee
Love
