The best make-up I have ever used. It melts into the skin and looks super natural. The store staff are incredible.

A nice woman named Erin helped me today while I was in the store. She helped me find a foundation and did a mini-makeover on me! She didn’t pressure me to buy anything at all. The other employees in the store were extremely nice as well. If I’m ever in the Bay Area again, I will definitely stop by! Thank you!

I’m literally so disappointed. First I went in to the Los Angeles location and I got a toner that I am absolutely in love with. I also got a primer with a foundation that was supposedly matched to my skin tone. Unfortunately the foundation was extremely dark on me. I then go in to the San Fransisco location to get rematched and now the foundation isn’t dark but it is extremely orange on me. It is so disappointing to go in and spend more than $100 on a brand that has workers that are not capable of helping you find what you are looking for and not in just one location but in TWO different locations. Now I have to drive over an hour away to go return the foundation for the second time. I love Nars so much but this is not okay.

Update: after such an amazing first experience, I am sad to say I think the first guy was the only nice person there. The rest of the sales associates are pushy, rude, and will do anything to up-sell you on things you dont want or need.Original post: I came in after a particularly frustrating dermatology appointment, desperate for a way to cover some scarring without making my skin worse. I wish I could remember who helped me, but Ive never met a kinder, more caring salesperson in my life. He really listened to what I asked for, and made me feel beautiful when I left. Its certainly a lot easier to go to a 1-stop-shop like Sephora, but I will return to this boutique over and over.

Narada was super helpful, he helped me decided on a contour powder and even suggested other items for me. I took a photo outside since I was a tourist and no one stopped me instead they welcome me and assisted with tips and tools to help me. The experience was so great I plan to go back before I leave to buy more items. Narada suggestions was great, he was very friendly and helpful.

Shame on NARS inflicting pain on innocent creatures once again. I will post it on my Facebook and tell everyone I know who thought you were cruelty free.

Very sad to know that they are testing their cosmetic products on animals now. This company is not cruelty free anymore. There are other ways to test cosmetic products than on helpless creatures!!!! This is a horrible company and I will never ever buy any of your products and as an official animal rescue I will spread the word!!!
