Really nice selection of blades. I was excited to take a look but the dude working there was of no help, just sat there playing on his phone.

This is a nice small knife shop in pier 39 well worth visiting. The proprietor was very professional about making sure I didnt spend too much money. He showed me the best knife for what I was looking for.

Small shop and, as youd expect, crowded in a tourist trap like Pier 39. Despite that, theres a healthy selection of knives that range from $15 gas station junk to high end folders. The single employee on site helped everyone in smooth order, taking time with every prospective customer to make sure they were getting what they wanted. I feel like I should stress that he didnt try to rush anyone out the door, even though the place was getting flooded and he was spreading his attention across at least five people at once. Was quoted an extremely reasonable price for the Pena X I got and my girlfriends Mini Griptilian. You wouldnt find a better price on BladeHQ or a manufacturers website.

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Just before the Covid-19 shut down, I left my 10 year old Benchmade automatic knife there for factory service.Then shut down happened and I was afraid I was going to lose it for good. We Be Knives is still temporarily closed (June 2020) but my knife came back and they mailed it to me no charge!Ive been using We Be Knives for many, MANY years and love them.Dont see what you want? Just ask. They can likely get it.Life time free sharpening for any knife purchased from them.

Super cool selection at good prices. However, there was a sign outside that said back in 5 minutes, and my family and I waited for over a half hour for the one man to return to go inside the shop, and I believe he was high when he got back. He appeared to be quite uninterested in our service.

We visit once a year, and have for the last 14 years. Every single time, the service is exceptional - friendly and helpful to the max. These guys know their stuff. We always come away happy, and usually with something new and noteworthy.

The 3rd knife Ive purchased from We Be Knives and have yet to be let down. The knowledgeable knifetenders may take a few minutes to get to you but thats only if they are crowded because they pay special attention to each customer as they are helping them picking out their favorite EDC or special occasion knife. Complementary blade sharpening at request- all the ingredients needed to make this my first stop shop EVEN BEFORE Amazon. Shocker, I know.

Rude staff, not helpful at all and very poor customer service. Went in to buy a blade for my son and they acted like they didn’t want my business so I left and didn’t waste my money. Freedom of choice is yours but if you want my take, I say your money is better off spent elsewhere. Like some of the other reviews have stated the employee has no business running that shop and the owner should be fire this clown.

Owner/cashier was a complete jerk. I simply asked if he could do anything on the price for me and he started yelling “hell no hell no” while waving his hand for me to leave. I had every intention of buying the knife but after how he treated me he lost my business. I have haggled with people all over the world and none have compared to this guys unprofessionalism. I went and bought the knife elsewhere.

Nice collection of knives and swords, the have got both fantasy and historic (replicas of course) blades. The staff is really helpful and friendly, we had a nice chat about cavalry sabers.I really recommend this place

We visited this store last week. We walked in and saw the guy behind the counter he gives off that feeling that we are wasting his time. We knew what we wanted (didnt have to look for it) and paid for it right away. As he rung up our item to our surprised the guy started telling us how he HATE customers who walks in, look around, ask too many questions and not buy anything or try to talk down prices with him. I was going to look for another item but decided not to. You have wide variety of knives/swords and you have to sell them but you have the wrong person selling it. Not impressed with customer service.

While I was canvasing knives to buy and after the other customers left the store, a staff was telling me to get out and they dont want me here indirectly by singing because I look I was not gonna buy anything and I look young but Im 20 years old. Your products are cool but you were rude to me thats why I left your store with anger because of how you treated me.

Was there last week for a quick visit to SF. The location is nice, but thats about it. The staff is rude, unhelpfull and IMHO probably high. Im a connoisseur and avid collector, Ive purchased knives around the world and invested hundreds of dollars on my collection. The two guys working that day made many tourist feel like idiots and instead of helping to find a good blade, they simply where arogant. Whoever is the owener of this place should fire them. I dont mind paying for a good blade, but I do mind giving my money to places who treat people like garbage. Please avoid!

Such a wide and beautiful collection of knives.Not only that,but they offer many other things too!

The guy working wouldnt give me the time of day. Answered all my questions with a single word like yup, or mhm he had an attitude and didnt once make eye contact with me the entire time. I asked to handle a knife and the guy replied with the price of the blade instead ($400 which I knew and was willing to spend) and didnt even wanna hand me the knife acting like I was some peasant. The shop carries several high end brands and customs but they wont let you look or touch if youre interested. Why carry those if all you wanna sell is $20 Mtechs? The knives would have sold themselves, the guy there insures those wont leave the shelves. The last straw was when I asked about another knife price. It was $399.99. The guy stopped me mid sentence and forcefully corrected me saying that the price was not $399.99, its $400! Well that penny and that attitude lost you some sales. This is not a shop for knife guys

They have a huge selection of Benchmades, CRKT and Kershaws. They even have custom made William Henry knives. The owner, Phil, loves mother of pearl, so you will always fins at least one custom knife with a mother of pearl inlay.

Great place for knives. If on vacation its a great place for a gift or a fix for a knife addict. They have an amazing selection they have great brands like Spyderco benchmade microtech ect they also have custom and high end knives like Chris reeve Anthony marfione and even some custom knife factory. 5 stars for great selection and great service!

Terrible service and even worse quality. The single man in the store acted like he did not want my business, and then after selling me a knife for 40$ it fell apart within less than 2 days and injured me. Dangerous product and horrible service! Stay out of this scam of a shop.
