Loved this gem of a spot! For anyone who loves Spain, this is where you can get your fix. Amazing selections of wines, meats (jamón iberico anyone?!), cheeses, fresh baguettes, a variety of canned goods like Ortiz Bonita (tuna!) and anchovy stuffed olives... this place truly is a food lover’s paradise with authentic Spanish brands and a friendly staff to boot.
I love this store. It has an incredible selection of well-priced wines, and a knowledgeable staff to help you choose. Also many specialty items that are hard to find anywhere else. The store is light, airy, and pretty. (COVID protocols are excellent.)
They have very bad customer service. The woman working in there is very rude to customers. She even refused to give her name. Their products are also low quality and expensive. You can find those products in most stores all over the Bay Area for much cheaper prices.
A wonderful little Mediterranean store that carries food, wine, houseware, cookware (including a nice selection of tagines and paella pans). Especially notable is the wide selection of Mediterranean spices.
RUDE LAZY STAFF NOT EVEN WASHING THEIR HANDS WHILE MAKING HALF OUR SANDWICH 🤣@ ATTITUDE LIKE YOU OWE THEM SOMETHING AND U CANT ASK A QUESTION ❓ ONE STAR ITS FOR THE GREAT TASTY JAMON AND VARIETY OF SPANISH PEODUCTS@LATIN SHORT LADY EXTREMELY UNWELCOMING!!! SO PAYING HIGH PRICE LIKE 12 DOL FOR A SMALL 🥪 AND COMING IN A FANCY STORE DOES NOT ACCEPT ANGRY UNHAPPY WORKERS WITH BAD ATTITUDE!!!NO WONDER WHY ITS ALWAYS EMPTY ....
We came here to shop for paella necessities, and now we go back for oh so much more. Amazing selection of sherry and Madeira and port (and vermouth). Great dry goods and canned items. Nice spice selection. Amazing Spanish chorizo (not the Mexican style). Nice staff who is eager to help and genuinely cook with all of this. Store can get crowded, but they still do their best to help everyone. If you like to cook and might be interested in authentic Spanish food, this is not to be missed!
Spanish/Portuguese wine, cheese, and serrano ham with knowledgeable folks to help you pick out what will make you happy? Yes please.
As a Spaniard, I was seriously delighted to come across a shop carrying such a fabulous range of authentic Spanish products in SF. We came here during the holiday season, so I was overjoyed to see the same mazapán and turrón which I would buy in Spain. They have a great selection of Iberian wines and spirits (so also covering Port). They have pata negra ham and Spanish cheeses. Tortas de Aceite from Ines Rosales. And countless other things. They also do sandwiches and coffee, but I did not try this on our first visit.
Cute, and a good place for from-spain oddments such as cheese, a paella pan, or almonds. Also sells cazuelas.
Has a wonderfully currated selection of Spanish food and specialities.
So happy they’re in my hood. Super friendly and fun staff, happy to share their knowledge of their store’s products, or just chat if they have the time. They always know your name and what you like and make excellent suggestions as a result. Great sandwiches, wonderful selection of foods and wines.
Some great things: cheeses, white asparagus, stuffed olives, Spanish wines, and good cappuccino.
Fantastic store with a wide variety of things you want and didnt even know it.
Great shop on Clement Street!Ive been coming here for awhile because many of my friends love Spanish ingredients, and this place has it all. From exotic spices to sweet treats, youll find what you need here if youre making a Spanish dish, especially if its paella. They also serve coffee and sandwiches. Ive been wanting to try the Pig & Fig for the longest time. I happen to be in the area Sunday morning and ordered it. Well, Im a complete idiot because I had been staring at their menu and didnt see that they serve sandwiches until 11am. It was 9. One of the employees (I believe shes the owner, or at least manager), said it was fine and that the griddle was hot enough to make the sandwich.Im so happy they accommodated my being dumb and made the sandwich.. and it was so yummy! It comes with Spanish ham, fig jam, manchego cheese, and greens, on a crusty toasted roll. All the ingredients come from their store. I asked to dine in because I wanted to eat before doing my other errands, and the woman making my sandwich wrapped it up to go. She felt bad because she even corrected herself when she asked me about it prior to paying. She offered to get me a plate, and I declined. They were already nice enough to make the sandwich for me. If youre thinking why wouldnt they make the sandwich anyway: Ive been to places where they are absolutely strict on when they serve/dont serve certain items on the menu. At another cafe, I asked for a pizza, and the cashier snapped back saying they dont serve pizza until noon. It was 12:01pm. So she begrudgingly took my order.I need to come back here to try their coffee, and order the Pig & Fig again... and buy some Spanish ham.
Im a Spanish national, and this is *the* place in the Bay Area to get hard-to-find, authentic Spanish food, wine, and other goods, including such treasures as pata negra jamón ibérico.Just a marvelous place. I always end up dropping a small fortune there when I visit, theres just so much good stuff.
A nice variety of specialty food and wine items from rhe Iberian peninsula, along with some kitchen items. They serve espresso, tea and hot chocolate. They offer limited cheese samples.
Good selection of items that can be found in Spain including wines, spices, and olive oils in a gourmet store where one can order a good sandwich to enjoy too.
They have a wide variety of cava! Not to mention excellent cortados, cheese and chocolate.
Terrible service. Attending other people at the same time so the guy get confused with my items and I missed 2 items
I could spend an hour here just oogling over their sherry and port selections. If you are just getting into sherry, need a paella pan or just Spanish dry goods, this is a place to pop by!
Exceptional espresso! Lots of wonderful food and drink imports from Spain and the Basque country.
Tasty sandwiches, highly recommend the Basque. My go to place for a weekend lunch
Great food and wine from spain
Found all the things I needed for a paella! Super friendly staff as well!
Great selection of Portos, and they serve coffee. Its a little slice of Spain.
I wish it were closer, wonderful Spanish & Moroccan foodstuffs!
They half a good selection I was looking for chorizo they had it. Store is still a bit small it will do.
What a great new spot to open up on Clement! The shop is colorful and inviting, and the staff is enthusiastic and helpful. Its extremely easy to get carried away browsing the shelves of European kitchen and pantry goods (beans, can, boxes, sacks!) - and thats if you dont get absorbed by the wine selection on the left hand side of the store! They must have the best sherry selection in this part of the city (if not all of SF!) Theres a refrigerated section of tasty pig parts (chorizo, hams, sausage - imported and domestic) and seafood tapas and ingredients (boquerones, squid ink) They just got their espresso machines up and running so now you can get your java fix there too. Thanks for adding some Mediterranean flair and flavor to the neigborbood, Spanish Table!
Great addition to the neighborhood. Fresh bocadillos every day in the growing deli section. They also make a really good cappuccino or cortado. Great Spanish wine beer and cider selection, many refrigerated. Nice, knowledgable people also.
Awesome wine selection, especially Sherry Port and Madera. Jamon Iberico including Belota, Spanish cookware, and tons of dry goods.
