Farmstead Grocery Delivery! New grocery delivery service in Raleigh Durham Area!!! Wow!!I decided to try this out because they are offering $30 off $70, and they do not charge any delivery fee, driver fee etc! What??!! Yeap no fee charged to me! No commitment to order every week or ever again, I had nothing to lose.What a great experience! All the products I ordered (produce to fresh organic chicken) came packaged perfectly, all refrigerated items were nice and cold (and it was 80 today). The communication between the service and the customer (me :0) ) was outstanding! Seriously, this was beyond textbook communication/customer service, this was outstanding! Driver arrived as scheduled, super friendly (socially distanced)! It is like having your neighbor/friend shop for you, lots of care start to finish.

My first order delivery date was changed 3 times and was only notified for the first change. One product was spoiled, berries partly smashed, and broken eggs in the bags I received.UPDATE 1Just went to prepare the Brussel sprouts that were included in the order referenced above and they were riddled with worms. Out of the 6 halves in the photo there were 3 dead worms. At least half of the order had visible holes on the outside.UPDATE 2Farmstead reached out to me and immediately sent me a reimbursement for the items mentioned.

Will recommend, great variety of products, extremely fresh produce, they pick the best on local produce. Great people work there, special shot out to Ms. Andrea my favorite receiver.

Farmstead used to be my go to service for online grocery deliveries. Occasionally there would be a slight hiccup like items out of stock, produce slightly bruised, or maybe the bags were dropped off in a lobby instead of by my door. Not a big deal.However, when the virus hit it became clear that Farmstead could not handle the crush of orders and even months later it has not improved.Deliveries were cancelled same day with little notice and other orders became delayed by 2-4 weeks out and communication / customer service just disappeared overnight. To be fair, all online grocery companies suffered the same overwhelming demand during the virus but Farmstead has done very little to adapt and after 2-months since the start of the pandemic Farmstead has still been unable to improve its operations and has left customers clueless about when orders will actually be delivered or what items are in-stock.I would recommend shoppers look into other providers. I have switched over to Good Eggs which has expanded their routes and has better appointment delivery windows that occur on-time. Some items may be out of stock but the service will at least tell you if they can deliver on a specific day during the week and not cancel on you last minute or have zero updates whatsoever like Farmstead.Not sure why they brag about it online but apparently an average 3/5 review from TrustPilot is enough for Farmstead to say neighbors love us! while filtering out all the negative reviews.

They make it simple to sign up but in order to cancel even your order you need to either text or email them! They do not allow you to cancel the order online. Furthermore, their prices are too exorbitant.

Unreliable... they cant hanle new business, but wont tell you until weeks after youve ordered. Our order was scheduled 2 weeks out and the day before it was to arribe we noticed the delivery date changed by another week with no notification. After sending emails and texts for an explanation they just canceled entirely. Yet this entire time they were advertising on FB for bew business. Shady and incompetent at best.Dont order from them, you probably will never get anything and will be wasting your time

This company under pays its drivers. $75 for 2.5 hours .no benefits tips are not given to drivers and no gas toll reimbursement. Expects drivers to drive 100 miles. Contacted department of labor for an investigation
