Good Eggs is so wonderful. Amazing produce, excellent customer service, excellent delivery and packaging.
Good Eggs has been a life saver during the shelter in place order. The ordering is easy, the prices are reasonable and the quality of their produce far surpasses that of any found in traditional retail stores. The few times I have had an issue, a customer service rep responded within 24 hours and always remedied the situation.I highly recommend Good Eggs for great food delivered to your doorstep.
Fresh produce! The deal directly with local farmers. The meal kits are generous; I get a whole head of garlic when garlic is called for, for the sole picatta style they included a large jar of capers- so much more generous than any other meal service. There is no better meal service nor grocery delivery service!

Twice burned! Our Thanksgiving order arrived hours late at 10pm (and missing some items)--but at least we got essentially what we ordered. Perhaps foolishly, and responding to the heartfelt apology emails from the CEO (our entire team has been focused on pinpointing what went wrong), we thought wed give them a chance for Christmas.Big mistake. The order did come on time, this time, but with one huge problem: the _unfrozen_ prime rib roast we ordered was replaced by a huge FROZEN slab of meat--a prime rib that would, according to the internet, take 3-5 days to defrost in the fridge (or maybe 7 hours if you immersed it in cold water, changing the water carefully for safety reasons _every 30 minutes_)! Oddly, our Christmas Day plans had not previously centered on gathering around a large water-filled cooler, tenderly nursing a massive frozen hunk of meat to safe cooking temperatures.We ended up with something that kind of resembled a prime rib roast, having partly-defrosted, partly-hacked-apart-for-cooking the hunk of meat. But we had to rearrange our Christmas Day plans.In short, a debacle, thanks to Good Eggs. Perhaps I should have said not, Twice burned! but Once burned, once frozen! Good Eggs leadership team obviously includes some bad (or just incompetent) eggs.
I give 1-star to the experience of ordering food for our Thanksgiving dinner online. I placed the order on Tuesday before Thanksgiving and was informed it would be delivered Wednesday. They then informed me of delays but said it would come by 9pm. I then received an email stating apologies: We are so sorry, orders today are very delayed and will be arriving between midnight and 8 am. I was incredulous but, because I had delivery instructions not to leave the groceries unattended, I left my phone on next to me in bed, as it rings very loud when the gate/door bell is activated. No one rang and at 7:30 am today (Thanksgiving), I ran down and found no sign of any groceries on the street. There is nowhere to leave them except outside the gate on the street. Good Eggs has ruined our family Thanksgiving and I will never ever use them again. I am sad, furious, and my husband is angry at me. My daughter, who is gluten-free, will not have any dessert. Her special food needs are the reason I placed the order with organic cranberry, etc. in the first place. We will have none of it on our table today. Thank you, Good Eggs.
Recently discovered this service and absolutely love the product selection - locally sourced, quality produce and awesome, organic snacks. Have not gotten their meal kits, but overall very pleased. I’m happy not to use Amazon or Instacart, while sheltering in place.
I have been using Good Eggs for several years. The delivery people have always been very friendly. I appreciate the food selection that they offer. My only complaint is that we often have items missing from our order. For an average order around 10%-20% of our items will be missing. However, support is always very helpful and credits the amount back. It just makes it more difficult to plan meals if there is only an 80% chance any given item will actually be delivered.

Good eggs refunded me every time I left constructive feedback. Unfortunately, they were unable to correct the problems I had with the quality of their produce. In addition to produce picked and sold before it was ripe, I received groceries in error, I was missing groceries, and the free range chicken that was delivered was gray and rancid. Yuck. I am, finally, DONE with this company.

Today’s is Thanksgiving and I have no food that I pre-ordered from them. I ordered my food two weeks ago with them. I spent A LOT OF MONEY. My food was supposed to show up yesterday between 1-5 pm. It never did. I got a message at 10:30 pm that it would show up at midnight. Was I supposed to stay up waiting? Well, I did. I got another auto-message that it is supposed to show up any time between 9 am - 1 pm today ON THANKSGIVING when I already should be cooking. I’ve contacted them several times. I get an auto-reply that they are closed. I don’t think it’s showing up and I may have nothing to serve. I don’t know why I trusted them. They are constantly late, things are always missing and you have to wait days to be refunded. They’ve already charged me. I’m out a lot of money and now I’m hoping I can find some decent food with whatever is open on Thanksgiving. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.
This place has been turned into a massive vaccination center during COVID19 by SutterHealth.i havent been there prior to this, so I am not sure about other things in the facility.
We placed our order for dinner today to be delivered yesterday circa 5:00 pm We received assuring texts all evening telling us the delivery would be made no later than 8:00 am today. Though the cost was withdrawn from our bank account, we have Received nothing. Shocking lack of service and very disappointing Thanksgiving...
The service was great, timely, and efficient. The website was easy to navigate and the selection was quite good. My order also came with a reusable ice pack!

Really interesting product selection, especially with vegetables that I need for weird recipes. Delivery staff are pretty chill, too, with how they text you and are really polite. I started ordering from them cause they were the only ones with timeslots during the start of the quarantine, but will likely stick with them from now on considering how consistent theyve been.
I used to love Good Eggs, and was a loyal customer for at least 2 years. Now that there is zero quality control and the chronic worry about food poisoning, I finally quit. Produce frequently arrived old or moldy, dairy products/salads/poultry were routinely expired and had to be tossed, packing sometimes didnt include cold packs, pastries/bread were usually stale. At least 2-3 items would not be available on the day of delivery, even though you ordered them 3-4 days ahead of time. Now there is an $80.00 minimum, a peak fee, delivery fee, good jobs fee (what a joke!), etc. (Whole Foods also has its issues, but I dont worry about the quality of their food, and they run a tight ship). Apologies and refunds from customer service were offered, but nothing ever changed. Its really too bad.
I referred about 5 friends and family to the service and received referral credit. Upon placing the order with about $80 worth of credit I got an email saying I wasn’t suppose to refer family members and it was friends only. They stated that I received 4 credits($80) and that 3 were family and they canceled all ($80) of the credit. I was very upset since it took a lot of effort to explain the service and help my family get set up. On top of this one credit was for a friend, but they deleted all my credits, even the one that was not a family. This is extra upsetting because why didn’t they contact me after the first referral to say “hey I think you misunderstood, no families”, but let me referral a bunch of people and THEN proceeded to inform me. Especially because you don’t get the referral credit until someone makes a purchase and gets their order delivered. So family members spent a bunch on pricey produce and meat under the impression that I would get credit back. Seems like very unethical business practice on the admin end.I warn you about using the service from a company that would do this.I received notification from Hilary R, who Didn’t even bother to respond to my email asking about 1 of the credits that was from referring a friend.Beside all this, a lot of the food delivered was not worth the price. Basically you pay $5 every order for a fee, and then $4(if it’s peak time) and then $8(unless you spend 80).I appreciate all the local produce and food but everything cost x2 as other places for the same exact local item.

Over the last year, even before pandemic I was starting to get disappointed with my good eggs experience. The first couple of times were great, then I started receiving moldy fruit, frozen foods that were thawed, and missing items that I was charged for. They were quick to respond with a credit but in my mind were losing dependablilty as prices felt like they were going up at the same time. Then I made a preorder for thanksgiving through them, and in my mind preorder means you are guaranteed those items because they account for it through the pre order process. The day my order was supposed to deliver, it didn’t. I received a message to expect it at midnight that they were running into delays, didn’t get it then either. Finally received it the next day in the morning, and to my disappointment I opened the box and only 1/3 of my preorder was in the box. No follow up to what happened to the rest of my preorder and when I finally got a response from my complaint, there was no explanation and just a refund. So I rushed out the tonight (night before thanksgiving) to try to salvage what I could...Huge disappointment
I love the offerings at Good Eggs, thats all I love about Good Eggs. My experience was shady as heck. All ready to order, I was supposed to get free shipping. When I went to check out, not only was I charged a $7.99 for shipping, I was also charged a $3.99 fee for the driver.Im all about supporting the driver fee, but DO NOT tell me I get free shipping and tack on $7.99 at checkout.
I order good eggs around 4 times a week and am always satisfied with the service. a little more expensive bc of the fees and upcharge for local products, but the convenience and quality is worth it!
Absolutely horrible customer service and completely unreliable. Ordered food for Thanksgiving to be delivered before Thanksgiving. Received an email and a text saying that the delivery would be delayed. After the email regarding the ETA of the delay had come and passed, the food still hadn’t been delivered and now my status says “delivered.” Will never be ordering from Good Eggs again.
The quality of produce is excellent but customer service is terrible. I had an issue with my order and they still haven’t gotten back to me after TWO weeks. Now there is also an issue (wrong item sent) with my new order and I don’t know when I can expect for them to resolve it.

Love their products but their service is hit or miss. The first time they were on time on the hour and the tomatoes were definitely better. They were late the 2nd & 3rd time And they send me a message an hour before the window stating they don’t have one of my products, which was the bulk of my order and that way i would be charged shipping!!! I was really hoping this worked as I really like their products but I guess not. I think it’s best if you go directly to the farms and non of these nonsense!!!
After a bad experience they did eventually get back to me and I did receive a refund. I appreciate their customer service and I will definitely consider giving them another try in the future.

Their chicken tikka masala was really bad. The chicken tasted like its gone bad so I took one bite of it and unfortunately had to throw away the whole thing.
What happen Good Eggs? Your app isn’t working anymore as well as your website. I switched over to Whole Foods via amazon. There delivery always arrives on time. In addition their app/website is always working. Im not going back to Good Eggs especially during this time when you need food delivery service. Very disappointed. I have heard it is due to moving warehouses but you got to do better planning next time.

We just started ordering from Good Eggs and are so beyond thrilled. Their app is so easy to navigate and very intuitive to manage orders. Their delivery is fast and they are always nice. Now Their food, it’s fresh, delicious and I never have to worry about getting a bad batch. Not to mention they have a lot of variety and work with local farmers!We usually prefer to prepare our meals on our own but we just started ordering their meal kits to try it out and we are so impressed. Awesome company, you guys are killing it. Thanks for making our lives just a little bit easier.
Not only they charged me for products I never received, but they have sent me the wrong products and they do not reply to calls or messages. The reason I’m giving them 3 stars idols because, after multiple intents to communicate with them, they’ve replied my messages and refunded me for the wrong items
I cant live without GoodEggs! The produce is bar none the freshest and the best you can get. Yes, better than Whole Foods. Each vegetable or fruit explodes with flavor, making you wonder what in the heck you were eating before. We also order about 3 Meal Kits per week which are all phenomenal; the quality and freshness is superior to any other mail-order meal delivery kit, albeit it is a bit more expensive. Their selection of specialty foods is also phenomenal: House Kombucha, turmeric lattes, Brainiac kids yogurts, exotic fruits, etc. 12/10 Love GoodEggs!

Depending on the time for delivery like; Rush Hour Traffic, that isnt the fault of the Company! Ssn Francisco in traffic ... give the drivers about an 1-2 hours extra time, or select another time frame. Keep up the great work Good Eggs!

I am crazy for good eggs! I spend about half the year in the Bay Area and this is my first order of business to restock my larder. Orders accurate, on time, and wonderful quality.
On time delivery, really fresh food. The frozen food stayed frozen which was great because it had to sit for awhile. The pasta dinner kit was especially good, easy to put together and was more like 4-5 servings.I will use them again.
Tried using their services twice.1. Delivery was delayed for 40 min. and when it finally was delivered I was not notified that it had been delivered at my reception2. After having received my order confirmation for delivery on the same day, they were unable to deliver my order. This was due to them being unable to process my card, but instead of letting me know upon checkout or in due time for me to update/try another card I was notified after the cut-off time, meaning I would only be able to book for the day after.First time customer service did help me, however, the second time they were of no help what so ever.
First time using Good Eggs. Ready to go to sleep but I have to stay up to wait for my delivery that’s an hour and a half late. Not happy. Not impressed, especially since they’re not cheap.
I used their weekly meal service and then went on vacation after canceling it but something happened and they delivered it to me after.This happened a few more times even after I completely canceled the order, another order would randomly appear. Ive tried to call to cancel deliveries and no one would answer their live phone number.They also gave scheduled times on when you wouldnt be charged a delivery fee and you can schedule it then, they will then change the time week to week without telling you so you get charged that extra fee unless you watch everything like a hawk.This ended up costing me more money on food that eventually went to waste because I was out of town, when I was initially so excited about this website and delivery service.Very much not worth it.I was excited at the option of supporting local farms but I guess Ill go else where.

Weve been using Good Eggs for a bit over a year now and I would have given it 5 stars at the outset. Good quality food (we find most of the brands we buy at the supermarket) and user-friendly website replete with plenty of info about the brands and farms where the food comes from.As it has grown in popularity over the past 6ish months though, the reliability has suffered dramatically: late deliveries are now routine, wrong item in order or missing an item, a whole order smelling strongly of cigarette smoke, mild GI illness after one of their new meal kits, some produce less than fresh. We hope that they will be able to strike a balance between adequate compensation for their workers and faster staffing up to meet needs. Theoretically so convenient and wed been so happy, but at this point really having to weigh the pros and cons.
Worst place they are not even selling eggswhat a RIP off. Instead of giving me celery they gave me broccoli. They are so fake I would rather go to whole foods. They dont even sell chocolate and donuts. I would rather go to the farmers market. Love you bob

They do not train you in HACCP or OSHA work safety .. They work you and end up firing good workers. They with held pay from some general project job i did for extra hours ..the geeks that pass out the scanners and laptops listen to everything being said in warehouse .cameras do not work ..they use facial recognition and its against the law ..if one member in admin does not like you ..its a wrap no matter how hard you work they dont want you there you will not be there for very long ..watch out for safety conditions and jealous management ..Thank you Ms.karen poppy for ur notifications on my revuew of GOODEGGS ur client. Havent heard from you in almost 3 months ..hope everything is going good . i do hope to hear from u soon thru my attorney of corse .. Reallt hope to close this matter that we all may move forward with our lives. ..

So far I have not had any issues with late deliveries or wrong items. We did have 1 food item that was bad, the guacamole, boo. My main issue is that a lot of the food items I usually get at Whole Foods are more expensive on Good Eggs, they are already expensive enough at WF so I am not sure why they are more expensive here. I have to buy those items separately which is a hassle. With that said, having two babies at home makes it almost impossible to go to the store so for the inconvenience I will continue to use this service for now.
Very cool laid back approach to interview process. Felt very comfortable. But there will definitely be major work involved. Everyday is a deadline. Gotta be on ps and qs.

Awful place to work! The place is dirty, the management doesnt know how to manage and they play favoritism, and the food is not well kept! I used to work there and seen it all. If you saw the people that pick your food and how dirty the place is then you would never order from. Stay away from this place!
