My go-to produce store. Good fresh herbs. Everything is always fresh and the prices are decent. Also dairy and eggs. Theres a slight middle-Eastern slant to their products, but they also have a fair amount of Asian food.

The embodiment of what a bodega should be! brings the community together & is a safe space to find new veggies u havent tried or didnt know u needed until you tried it as well as stocking the tried & true essentials. as a daily consumer of avocado & celery, Ive been going here for years & see no market that is more tempting I couldnt have made it through the pandemic lockdown without this local, family owned grocery store b/c Im too thrifty to pay for delivered groceries, esp since its around the corner & Ive been working from home. great selection of cheeses, pasta, rice, sauces & flatbreads from many regions. super quick & friendly service, as well. 🤗 ❤❤❤🤗

Really great place to get some Mediterranean and Middle Eastern types of food and spices. The groceries are also fresh and they seem to take very good pride in that.

Best fish market in town! They carry a wide variety of fish from around the world. Their staff is also very friendly. When I first entered this grocery shop. I got fascinated by a huge range of fresh fish. It was indeed impressive. Aside from that, they had also meat, vegetables, and fruits. I will surely drop here again.

Hands down one of the best produce markets in the city. Price and quality of the produce is amazing. Then theres the variety, theyve got all kinds of exotic fruits and vegetables Ive never even seen before. If you like to cook, its worth driving across town to see for yourself.

Clean and well stocked

I thought it was a very nice store with good produce at reasonable prices. Parking could be a little bit difficult in the area and you should have to use meters unfortunately otherwise I would give it even a higher rating. I really enjoyed the wide variety of tangerines with leaves still attached important for Chinese people that display citrus for the Lunar New Year which will fall this year on Saturday, 1/26/2020.

This is the best produce market in SF. Hands down. Has everything I could think of plus some, always fresh and ready. Customer service is great. My family has been coming for 30 years and will continue to come for generations. Nick is the sweetest person and always helpful.

No Organic produce

It looks as if the manager has no idea about COVID-19. Has no disinfectant, not even try to pretend that he cared about his customers. The manager does not wear a mask.There were at least 35 people in the store so, I very politely mentioned that he should limit the number of people into the store at any time. I added like other stores you should let people line-up outside, and let them in turn.He responded, Do not come in if it is too crowded for you.If you care about your health do not go there. This is absurd that, there should be different regulation for him when other merchants are following the number of patronage.Ignorance, Greed, and Carelessness at the cost of his employees, and the customers.

A great place. I love the selection, especially the produce is my favorite in the city. My only complaints are that its difficult to find parking and the prices are not always the best, I think its well worth it, though.

Very good produce market

I love our local produce market. I met Nick over fifteen years ago when I moved to the Sunset. Ive been coming here ever since and hes watched my three children grow up. Fresh, affordable produce. He also has Greek sundries, dairy and other delish treats. Support local commerce and particularly this place. Just the best.

I really like this store. Great selection, good quality, at good prices. If you drive there, parking in that area is a challenge. Its conveniently located near restaurants, banks, other stores, public library, and public transit ( SF Muni 7, 28, 29, and N lines)

Be prepared to stay at the cashiers line, great quality and vatiety in fruits and vegies.

Excellent for fruits, veggies, grains, pasta, and some dairy. Has pretty much everything I need except fish and meat.

Lots of fresh produce at great prices, sweet strawberries on special 59c a 1# box, only bought 2, should have bought 4. Going back they have hard to find items here, going for more fruit and lemon grass thats still green(alive). Come back every weekend for the specials and friendly people.

Pretty good produce selection, but a bad selection of other things. Prices for produce are once again great, and not so much elsewhere.

I went in for a couple of things but ended up walking through each aisle! They have a bakery, a healthy selection of ready-made food for lunch, an excellent wine and beer selection, & so much more. I couldnt get enough of their food. Parking is so convenient, its free for the first 1 1/2 hours. I went around 12pm on Friday and parking was abundant. Downfall is that the food is pretty pricey

No doubt their products are fresh and good here. Plenty of organic produce and everything else. Service is good. Lotta check stands available, all full service. They havent converted to self-check yet (unless I didnt see it). Loved the welcoming smell of Petes coffee when I entered the premises. Hated the whole parking situation. Too many cars with lanes and spaces too narrow, plus having to dodge ppl w children or carts. Minus one star b/c of this faulty design. I recommend walking here than driving here if possible.

Good produce and all sorts of wonderful delicacies, like shelves of canned dolmas and interesting jams and good quality teas. Honest little grocery store thats been selling the same great stuff for years and years

Always has amazing fruit. Today they had giant Fuji apples. Can get great fruit year round. Dont forget to bring your own shopping bag.

Such a wide variety of everything! I came in for salted cod, which is hard to find and there was a whole stack right in front of the very neat and well kept fridge section. Produce looked fresh and market was easy to navigate.

22nd & Irving is the neighborhood go-to spot for fresh dairy & produce and some specialty products, mainly Greek and other Eastern European. Service is always friendly. And prices are definitely affordable. Do wish they carried more variety of seafood/meat/butcher shop items, but still great. Love them!

Medium sized mom & pop local grocery store with a good variety of groceries and fresh produce which includes a good amount of Greek, Armenian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern speciality food items. Theyre very friendly and offer good quality affordable produce mostly of local original. You can get great deals on ugly produce in the evening as they bag up to four pounds of produce for sale at 99¢. Highly recommend them.

Great selection of eastern European goods and fresh groceries. Store managers really nice and would sometimes be cashiering at the front. Its pretty busy every day. :)

My go to veggie market. The produce here are super fresh, clean, and reasonably priced. Theres little reason to go anywhere else unless youre looking for specific asian produce.

I have shopped here for 25+ years because they offer excellent, premium produce at amazing prices and a wide selection of imported and specialty foods. They also sell many types of grains, dried beans & pulses and much from Bobs Red Mill line (organic). Fresh bread from very good local bakeries, dairy, cheese and olives, grape leaves, tahini--I could go on for a while, but you get the idea. The store is very clean and well arranged and many of the efficient, friendly staff are long-term employees which to me is a sign of good and proper management. What else is there?

Best spot to buy food in all SF. Good products, available prices, and overall personal & professional assistance. Mediterranean products are authentic. Cilantro is even better than in Mexico. And my friend Nik (from Argos) is one the best guys in town (just be careful if you are slow paying cause he may point out snakes in your pockets?).

I went to this market for nearly a year when I lived in SF. It has great produce and the prices are much cheaper than Trader Joes. Workers are always willing to help and the store is always clean.

This is a great market! They have an aray of fruits and veggies. High quality dairy, eggs and pantry products. However. if you are looking for meat products you will need to look else where.

The other day i finally went to whole foods cuz i got a bonus check from the man. he thinks im such a hard-working bee. man, if he only knew about my google, he would kick me to the curb. i hope he doesnt read this. oh sir, i only yelp at home. i swear. anyhow, the price at whole foods is obscene to a working class guy like me. i only bought a few items and then i had to kiss bye bye to bonus check. there goes my vacation. :-(

They have the freshest produce around. Joe Carccioni (a TV personality in the 70s and 80s) would have them as the best deals around . Nick and Chris the owners, and their employees are very friendly and helpful with their extensive knowledge of fresh produce.
