He even went out of his way to clean my car just so I can, fall in love with my car again. My Chevy Volt had issue with the heating and coolant. Sturken Auto Body was able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue in a timely manner. I highly recommend anyone with a Chevy Volt go here before going to anyone else. There are very professional and provide a good value.

They also found a problem with the starter battery and an error message and contacted Mercedes on our behalf to determine it was an in-warranty repair. They also upgraded the house batteries to lithium-ion and updated the solar chargers.We can now enjoy our travels, knowing that we are safe and sound.

I called Sturken Auto/RV Repair on Monday August 10th to make an appointment, the said they had availability on Aug 19th. I explained that the rear/driver side leveling jack had an issue. It had leaked a ton of fluid and we knew it needed to be repaired.When we arrived on Aug 19th we were met with the front desk mgr saying “did I tell you that we are short a technician?” and when did we need the RV back. I informed him that I had not been told they were down a technician when I made the appt & that I needed it by Mon Aug 31st for our Labor Day Trip.The following day we received a call that the leveling jack in fact needed to be repaired and that one of the other front jacks also needed to be repaired. I was told they were calling around to locate the parts to repair it (they do not do any jack repairs inhouse they send them all out).On Monday Aug 24th I called to get an update and was told that they had to let go of the technician that had been working on our RV and that the owner & the front desk person had personally gotten under our RV to look at both jacks & that they could not be repaired & had to be replaced.We decided that we would again do our own investigating & called Bay Hydraulic. They instructed us to bring the jack to them & they would repair. I called Sturken & let them know that we would be in to pick up the rig. When we arrived they handed me a bill for $320 for the inspection. I informed him that their inspection had been inaccurate & we had gotten the run around for days, the front office manager started to argue the point saying “You cannot repair that jack & I don’t care who told you that!!”. We had done a lot of research and knew that the jack could be repaired. I got up & we argued for a bit, I then asked to speak to the owner.The owner comes in & we explain the entire story of our experience. The front desk person says “I fit you in to get your RV repaired!”, I told him he in fact did not fit me in (I caught this guy in at least 4 different lies).The owner calms down his front desk person & asks to see our RV (I had thought he had already looked at it according to the front desk person). He goes out and looks at the jack with my husband, again arguing that it cannot be rebuilt/repaired. He then tells us that if Bay Hydraulic is able to repair he would wave the $320 charge. Then he offers to remove the jack & take it to Bay Hydraulic himself, we accept.We called Bay Hydraulic about 2hrs later & the jack was definitely repairable. Never did I receive a call from Sturken with the update or an apology. I called Bay Hydraulic on Friday Aug 28th to get an update and the jack had been picked up by Sturken on Wed. I then call Sturken and he informs me that the jack is ready but they cannot install it until the following week. I asked for the details on the final pricing & he informs me that the charge would be an additional $520 for the repair, fluid, etc. I asked for clarification, since he was the one that said he would wave the $320. I knew that the repair for the jack for Bay Hydraulic cost $220, the owner of Sturken informs me that he upcharges for the repair/etc. I asked about him saying he would wave the $320 since the jack was repairable, he said that he didn’t charge us for the removal & would not charge us for the install. He informed me that we were not going to get the $320 back. I did not expect a refund but I definitely didn’t expect another $520 bill.I told him that we would pick up the jack & install ourselves.

I had a very complex problem with my RV. When I contacted Sturkens I was responded to with courtesy and professionalism. The work was completed as promised and I am very pleased with the results. This is my second time and both jobs were done very well. A sharp contrast to other shops I have tried. I have no hesitation recommending this shop and plan to return in the future.

I wish I could rate Sturken Auto Body for 6 stars!I have gone to Steves shop twice and both times I have received helpful, attentive service and excellent repairs.Believe it or not, I had a bulb go out and a flat tire both within two weeks. They are just the best. Coleen, Steve, and the techs worked really hard to get our motor home in and out as quick as possible. They are also really great at communicating and are clearly very knowledgeable about everything related to RVs, mechanical and otherwise. Our RV is running great and our AC that they repaired is working great. So grateful that We went to you guys before our big trip.

Dont be fooled by the name. They do everything from auto body work, engine repair, specializing in RV and hybrid battery repair and reconditioning. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Coleen was very helpful and a joy to talk with. Steve, the owner was nice as well. We had our Hybrid Camry battery reconditioned to almost factory fresh for a fraction of the cost. Yes the process took 5 days which included a software upgrade. But our car came home with renewed vigor. We will definitely use their services more.

Took my car in to get an estimate on hit-and-run ding on my rear bumper via Mercury Insurance. They were only told to fix the bumper, but they really cleaned up other small smudge and scraps on the exterior and cleaned up the interior really well for me to get back out on the road.

Steve was the best! I called these guys at 900 am to get the impossible done. I had to have my fifth wheel hitch installed today!I called several other shops they turned me down for same day service but Steve didnt!! He said come on down let me take a look I will squeeze you in..SO i couldnt get there till 1030 or so, But he assured me he could take care of it even with a pain in the but bolt in the way somebody had left there from the last hitch...Long story short He gave me Great service at a fair rate and got me to the RV park instead of the hotel room..If i lived here I would take any vehicle to these guys!! A-! Service!

He fixed all the things on our little T@B after a cross country trip with a blow out that caused unbelievable damage. He called me each time there was a new issue (like the hole in the floor that was covered by a rug) and updated my estimate. In the end, reasonable cost for excellent work. My boyfriend and I were on a roadtrip through the US, our camper we were towing got rear ended in San Jose. It was a complete total. Being thousands of miles away from home, it was very stressful with getting little help from the insurance company. Steve and his team put our minds at ease and helped us out so much! Steve, Mike, and the rest of the crew are great. Being on the road with multiple RV components failing was distressing, Steve understood the situation we were in and quickly took care of our issues and got us back on the road safely and comfortably. I had my side fender, under panel and door messed up from an accident. Brought my car in for an estimate from my insurance and decided to get it fixed through sturken. They did a great job with my car! They went above and beyond, they popped out a dent Ive had in my car for years (from previous owner), painted any little knicks it had, tightened a loose panel from under the car. The paint job and stripe on my fender was dead on to the rest of the car. The owner Joan is very hands hands on and makes sure every detail is taken care of, very friendly. Thank you sturken! 😄

Had an unfortunate encounter with a telephone pole on a Friday while visiting San Francisco in our new motorhome. Repairing our retractable awning would need replacement parts from Colorado and it seemed unlikely we would be able to find someone who could get the parts and do the repair within our limited time frame.Sturken Auto and RV Repair was recommended by the awning manufacturer and we were impressed by their online reviews.I called and spoke with Steve Sturken who seemed very knowledgeable and offered to come in on SATURDAY to check the damage and see if he could help.He ordered the parts on Monday and once they arrived he repaired the awning while I waited at what I thought was a very reasonable cost.Im not one that often writes online reviews but given the exceptional service provided by Steve Sturken I felt a need to share my experience.He has my highest recommendations!!

Had the RV for two weeks an was not able to fix a simple electrical issue. Charged me for analyzing the problem without bringing a solution. I had to start my trip without the lights on my tow dolly in working condition. I just got lucky that a mobile repair service in Buellton fixed the problem in ninety minutes...

I would not recommend this mechanic shop to others. Very high priced

I warned my brother about this place. I told him they had a bad reputation but he was too trusting.His car was fixed by Sturken but had to return it several times in the very near future for new problems like a gas smell, knocking noises, etc...Sturken may be defrauding customers by agreeing to repairs then breaking other things so that the car needs to come back again and more money required.My advise to anyone: STAY CLEAR OF STURKEN AUTO REPAIR
