This place is AMAZING! We found books for myself, my wife, and our two children. Walked in and immediately felt like a kid again amongst all the great books, toys, collectibles, and more. Definitely a new go to spot even if it is over 1.2hrs away from home.

They have such a nice collection of planners and journals. I got other little things and my favorite is the Little Letters to Say Hello. I will use this to put love notes in my kids back packs.

Being a book lover from way back, I enjoy any time I can wander a bookstore. Barnes and Noble is just the place to make me feel good. All around me are books, books, and more booksUnlike my experience online, in a store like this I can wander for an hour browsing the collection. I personally wish everyone enjoyed books because we would have a better more well rounded community.

I found a diverse and extensive area for children books, including in spanish with good titles! I loved and my son was happy reading there.Of course, not chairs because of Covid, but it was almost empty and we could enjoy our time there.

Very spacious aisles and helpful signs for categories of books. It is easy to find a particular book. Store staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great selection of books for everyones and stationary. Helpful and knowledgeable employees. Came here for the latest release of Lee Hollis and some children books. A nice place to browse books of all genre, children toys, stationary, magazines.

My all-time favorite book store, extremely large collection with practically anything you can want at great prices. The Starbucks inside is convenient. I have memories of getting hot chocolate and reading books and building Yugioh decks for hours here when I was younger. (the membership is great too) They’re also brought Manga (Japanese comic books) into their stories recently so there’s nothing they don’t have.

Huge store. Little pricey. Worth a visit.

This place is heaven. They have the largest collection of books Ive seen, arranged in alphabetical order (which took me 30 minutes to figure out 😂). They had old and new releases. I was able to find all the books I had in mind, including some special editions for A Darker Shade of Magic and Children of Blood and Bone 🤩 This place also had a pretty neat selection of manga and light novels, all sorted by their volume numbers.Compared to B&N, Indian bookstores are nothing. They cant even sort their books properly.This place also had a cafe inside which made one section of the books smell warm and toasty like coffee 😆

I miss having one near by. Sad that its so far from me..looks pretty stocked and is extremely busy. I loved the display cases they had with fun toys. Speaking of which - they carry a lot of toys! Its great in there. I wouldve given it a 5 star if someone asked me if I needed any help when I was wandering around. I passed a lot of employees and they all felt uninviting and didnt smile.

Great place for toys we cant find at Target. Good selection. Really appreciate the super wing toy selection. Has helped out with the void left after toys r us closed.

I miss that leisurely bookstore hangout... but all chairs and benches are removed right now. The store is opened up, shelves removed to allow for better traffic and air flow. Hey, at least they are still in business! Come and support them while you can! It smelled like freshly baked cookies while I was there, thanks to the in-house cafe!

I was little embarrassed when I found out that there is no parking spots assigned for curve side pickup customers. However, when I found a desk outside of the book store for pickup customer, I felt better and relieved. I called to inform them I am there, it didnt take too long for me to get the books that I ordered online.

The store widened its corridors, reinforced social distancing and added a lot of new books and collectibles, just in time to look for special Holiday gifts.

Much quieter and more of space then before. Although the cafe is open, theres nowhere inside to sit and read. Still the same great selection, tho. :-)

Bereans & Lifeway Bible store closed. Taking another course so I needed a textbook. I gave the ISBN# and they were able to get it delivered to the store in a reasonable time. The associates were courteous and very helpful to my questions.

I prefer buying books from this store instead of online orders. We get to see all kinds of other books on display and walk around, check out books, talk to knowledgeable people in the store about books for kids and various topics. İt is a short trip to the store and we love the atmosphere there.

I love Barnes & Noble. Browsing the books is a great feeling and I missed it dearly. They have more than just books of course. They have games and utensils. The cafe in the back is nice and you can sit there and read. Its a nice quiet space to work if you need to. The staff are helpful if you can find them. They dont hide they just get lost in the shelfs. Its too bad there are only two B&N left in San Jose.

Terrific store with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff and extensive selections. The helpful staff members will order any item they dont have and contact you when it arrives. One manager, Debbie, is especially gracious and effective, truly outstanding!The cafe is very pleasant with really good drinks and snacks, and friendly and helpful staff.The womens room needs some updating, which is scheduled to happen soon.

Very nice place, its been here for a while, and one of the few local book stores still left with us. Coffee too, in a nice shopping ctr with food and new movie theater. Only thing common is that dont have much on religious history or maps. Overall very nice place

They display garbage books that THEY get reimbursed to push, and bury actual well written intelligently crafted books that do not fit their personal narrative. I asked for a specific book from the purple haired nose pierced kid, and was told with an attitude, it was out if stock, then asked an older employee and they brought it from what Im assuming was the back stockroom, b/c the lady said shed be right back, after quite a few minutes she returned with the book. So I asked if there were more or if this book was hard to find, she replied How many would you like. I had to push the question repeatedly until finally she said they had plenty. WTF?

I have amazing experiences & memories of browsing book stores all my life. Reading is a passion and Barnes & Nobles offers something for all readers of every shape, size, age, sex, etc. Huge selection of books, games, magazines, unique gifts, toys, calendars, journals, etc. You cant help but let yourself get lost in the magic of literacy at B&N and if you cant find what youre looking for, chances are they can order it for you. Starbucks with coffees, teas, parties and snacks, etc is right in the store so you can spend all the time you want. Clean store, well kept and nice and helpful staff. And dont forget, kids will love it too!

I really like going to Barnes and Noble, I enjoy getting a hot cup of coffee and Cookie or a sandwich, while I watch a movie on my Pad. I enjoyed browsing looking through books and magazines. And buying a good book for myself or to send to my daughter. You have really good cookbooks that I enjoy. I have met an elderly person there sitting at the magazine bench and we became friends. I also have the privacy to be able to study, and take my tests for work, while I enjoy a cup of coffee. Its a very nice place to just relax and enjoy part of the day, finding a good book to take home. It has alot to offer you can buy games, toys and other items around the store. I highly recommend it.

No matter busy or not...the people that work there are always helpful an kind....

Its usually pretty tidy, which can be hard for a large bookstore to accomplish! They offer a lot of product outside of their sizeable selection of books, from collectibles and toys, to even some tabletop gaming books and accessories. I dont shop a ton there, simply because its out of my way, but its always nice to visit. My only minor complaint is that there never seem to be many employees in case one needs assistance, but that may simply be because I tend to visit in the morning when I do go, and most retail chains staff lightly at the start of the day. Theyre also encouraged to really push their rewards program, which is just something that I understand they have to do, but it can be tiresome. For reasons I dont know, not many of them come across as overly friendly, but if you ask them something theyll respond with courtesy.

Finally this place opened up. My daughter has been waiting to browse around in this store..

One of the employees helped me get some books. They have a large selection of manga. The only problem I had was on one of the shelves it said there was Star Wars stuff but instead there were gundam which are not Star Wars they are from mobile suit gundam.

Ive been going to Barnes & Noble for as long as I can remember. I remember sitting in the kids section for hours on end, reading all the books I could. Now that Im older, they still have books Im interested in, and that are relevant to my daily life. For me, Barnes & Noble has a sense of nostalgia, while still being relevant. I hope this location stays open forever.

My family and I absolutely love going to Barnes and Noble. The kids love reading the books and browsing the toys. Dad and I love the cozy, happy atmosphere. We love the cafe, the food is great, the people friendly, the setting comfortable. My husband and I have been coming here for 20 years, and it is one of our favorite spots.

This location is one of the best. They really care about their customers, they always have a nice Starbucks inside with sugary treats and a mailing list that tells you about the activities and speakers and other book treated events.The only complaint Id have is that a few times they didnt have what I needed. Usually, they would find alternatives thatd suffice.

Maybe just in my own adventures but across seven states and multiple trips to Barnes and Noble this one simply has no competitor. Theres a lot to touch on here with selection and atmosphete but I absolutely have to bring up the service. Every singe person I have encountered working there (more than five) have been not only pleasant but excited to help me find what Im looking for and explore similar options. Not push anything on me, just genuinely get on my level and be interested together. This is service, guys. Im here weekly.

Bookstores are always fun to browse. This location has a large variety of discount books. I have never had difficulty getting help if I am seeking a particular book. There is also a cafe.

Nice spot to study, browse books, pick up board games and just chill. Easy going vibes, and a coffee shop inside. The only downside is that there are not power plugs in the coffee shop area. these are located along the pillar of the building all around.

My home away from home! Thousands of books, comfy furniture, and the coffee shop! I spend way too much money here and I dont even regret it. The only improvement Id love to see is an expansion of the childrens section. And as a parent, I can no longer bring my son in here because the toys seem to outnumber books. Great marketing for you guys, but its no longer parent-friendly. Please focus more on books and put the toys off in a different section. I promise I would still shop for toys here! Especially with ToysRUs gone -- your selection is excellent! But if I cant get to the childrens books without going through your toy section, Im leaving the kid at home instead of using the toy section as reward. Lets help each other out!

Nice place with nice staff. Smelled good. But I was surprised by how limited their selection was. Especially in the Music section, but in Books as well.

I am regular visitor to this Barnes and Noble. The place is spacious and the staff are helpful and courteous. I have had only good experiences here. The Cafe has reasonable number of chairs. The Kids section is of good size and with a good amount of variety.

Large selection of books (obviously), nice to have a Starbucks inside! Starbucks customer service was efficient just not real friendly. Barnes and Nobles customer service was very efficient and friendly. Thier selection of martial arts books is woefully inadequate however. I will return.(just not for martial arts books)

It was a very good experience there the gentleman at costumer service was so helpful he showed me the best of the best to get and buy he made it so i will come back to this store on blossom hill and Almaden but as for the cashier i would probably not come back there i wish i knew both their names....

I hope people keep shopping so we dont lose the last good book store
