Dr Lee and Dr Burger, the receptionists have all taken very care of us!They are super professional, highly respectful, considerate!Before every appointment, we could get an email reminder, a call to confirm, and they always went through all the details with us with great attention and patience!We’d recommend this optometry to every one of our family and friends!

First time coming here with my daughters, I had found them on yelp and decided to give them a try. I called a few months back and they were able to get me on the schedule, it was a few weeks before I was able to get it but completely understandable due to the circumstances.I feel like they are definitely clean, wasn’t crowded at all, I didn’t have to wait either. My daughter enjoyed her appointment with the optometrist. She was very thorough, was explaining everything she was doing and giving her best options we had. The assistant that help us was very patient with us. My 2 year old was very energetic while we were there ( most likely due to the fact that we do not go anywhere because of the shelter in place haha). I was very please on how helpful she was. All in all a hidden gem in our neighborhood.

Dr Walker is always so caring and friendly. I love coming to Golden Hills Optometry because it feels like family. Avalon helped me with my glasses and she was so thoughtful. She was very helpful in explaining the ordering process as well as detailing the fees.

Fantastic experience. If you’re reading this to find out about covid procedures, book appointments with confidence. Every station that I’d go to was sanitized before I got there and sanitized again once I left. They are very good about keeping the number of individuals inside the office to below the minimums, and enforcing the current covid safety policies.Dr. Burger, Jackie, and the rest of the staff are amazingly accommodating and courteous; took extreme care with my checkup and frames I was getting lenses for, which even when I wasn’t fully satisfied with how they turned out, ordered replacement lenses with no questions asked.

Customer Service:Ive been going here since childhood. Dr Walker and the team always show personal interest- going out of their way to remember their patients. Dr Walker always checks in on life during the exam and genuinely encourages me to do great things. WHO DOES THAT?! And hearing the way they talk to other patients and their family as well is really assuring that theyre just an all around profesional & considerate office.Exam:Dr Walker does more than just check your eyesight, she teaches. Every change in my eyes, she explains the science behind why it happens, how it looks, what that mean, what to do about it.. and does it in such a professional and caring way. The opticians there too are wonderful and patient. I probably tried on a dozen glasses and they disinfected and lined up each one and gave me honest opinions on each one.COVID:As far as COVID procedures, I felt extremely safe. They disinfect everything that is used, then have signs up for stations that are disinfected and safe to use, they adhere to social distancing, and check your temperature at the door.I 10/10 highly recommend.There is literally nothing bad to say about this office.

Terrible experience with the receptionist who let me wait outside for so long. I knocked 3 times with much time in between those knocks. I knew she saw me waiting She was just busy talking with a lady. I felt rejected so I told her that she didn’t even acknowledge me. Her excuse was there’s a lot of people inside. I didn’t even see any person waiting inside seated. I have been a client for years and this is the first time I had felt rejected by this receptionist.

Excellent experience with Dr. Walker. Some of the best patient and health care I’ve had. Great selection of glasses and sunglasses and extremely friendly and helpful opticians (especially Aimee!).

Dr. Burger has been taking care of my Optometry need for over 20 years. He is an excellent eye specialist, and a trusted friend. His professional, friendly manner make you immediately at ease and feel comfortable with having your eyes examined. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and concerned for each patients well being. I would say the office is really family oriented, both for patients and the work environment!! Please allow Dr. Burger and staff to show you how much they care for their patients, and become an instant friend to the doctor and his excellent staff.

Dont get me wrong, Dr. Burger is fantastic in his work but i dont like the admins on what their doing, I keep calling the phone every 5 mins just to get the status of my glasses but every time i called, its just send to answering machine, there were 2 persons in front desk. is it coincidence that they were too busy with the client? for me when i was there, i noticed that admins were not at their most attitude, i think the admins were bored. they need a good vacations.Golden Hills Optometry reach out to me regarding my my post and they took actions immediately regarding my review. They heard my suggestions and willing to adopt changes. Having that said, i will change my rate from 1 star to 4 stars. thanks for the quick respond.

Doctor Burger is a great optometrist!! He prompt, easy going, and very proactive! I would recommend him to anyone who asked. I do wish they had a broader selection of frames, but he does have a nice selection. Kudos to Doctor Burger!!!

Ive seen two of their optometrists and I love them both. Caring, responsible and diligent. They actually arent satisfied until you are with your eye care. Been going to them for years and will continue to do so.

I called at 2pm to make an appointment, and was told to go elsewhere as they were closing. The hours they posted state that they close at 6pm. I’m usually not the kind of person to complain about customer service but the lady on the phone was very rude and hung up immediately with a sense of urgency after telling me they were closed.

Both doctors are fabulous and they make sure that you understand what is happening with your eyes. They follow through and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an eye doctor.
