This is a great place to reduce your carbon footprint by donating or by buying pre-loved items. The store is laid out well. I was able to use a $2 coupon I got from donating and filling a survey and ended up with a French press for $3! It works great!

This was my first time visiting this Savers, its crowded on Saturdays. I came up on some cool stuff for crafting . There is so much to see but not enough time. Its a busy store but they have plenty of employees to check people out. Remember to bring your own bags, their carts cant be taken out.

I go there once and a while to buy items. Today I found a cady dish with the words SEES CANDIES on top of it. You never know when you will find something cute and nice. Some of the dropoff destinations have either closed or moved further away or have become very picky. Savers is wonderful. You need to get your receipt online, but its not a major hassel--unless you dont have a computer and printer. They used to have the receipts at the donation center but frequently ran out anyway, so this is an improvement.

My daughter really liked it. She wished for more cargo pants but other than that she liked the selection.

New self check out machines. Reduces waiting in lines . Lots of discounts. Christmas and Halloween items now for sale

Due to Covid ... there is a slight wait... but it was only about 5 mins. I LOVE this savers! Take time to look around. Good deals are to be found. The cashiers are always nice and helpful too. Loved that they priced an item right at the register...Definitely NOT like the other rude thrift store I used to go to.

Hit and miss. Some prices are just crazy high for a thrift store, I dont understand why anyone would be $2 for a plate or glass when you can go to IKEA and get it cheaper and brand new. Clothes can also be very expensive for what they are, considering all of this is second hand, lol.

So glad when this place opened back up. Ive always been a thrift shopper, so I was really disappointed when our local Goodwill store shut down. The prices could be a bit lower on some of their used clothing items, but overall its pretty similar to Goodwills in the area.

Lots of good items,better than goodwill.

I put on my AirPods and tuned out the noise. You really have to look but in time you can find a ton of great brands (hidden). Sometimes gotta look in sections that may not be your size or even in the same category of what you’re looking for. Dresses are like $20-$30 for name brands like Bebe and other high end stuff. It’s a hit or miss but definitely search and you shall find the deals!!!

Super poor customer service! I understand they have a 7 day exchange policy but, I spent over $150 in 1 trip, I brought 1 $10 item back on the 9th day and had another $50 in merchandise to buy and they refused to exchange. Its a win win for everyone! Exchange the item and put it back on your shelf for sale. What made it worse was, I asked about it before doing more shopping and was told it would be ok. Then, at the register, I was humiliated in front of others. I finally told the cashier to just put the items back. I wont be shopping there. She took the items in my cart and the items I had already bought. I had to go to someone else to retrieve them! I literally go here every week for various purposes. I will never set foot in there again and I will discontinue my donations to this place. Rude. Arrogant, lacking in basic customer service skills.

This is my favorite Savers out of the other few choices there are in the San Jose area. The book selection is always amazing, and clothing is usually very good as well. Its definitely more expensive than regular thrift stores, but in my opinion, this has higher quality used goods than the average thrift store. There is a small toy section in the back. The wait for changing rooms can be very long, though. And dont expect to run into any vintage finds, this place is really more like a Ross than a thrift store.

This place is great! One of the best second hand chains Ive dealt with. Good selection/ inventory, most of it is priced right. Everyday theres a difference sale, and they even have a Rewards plan.

Mostly clothing, little pricey on some stuff

This is my go to place as well. I love coming here I usually find what Im looking for. Debbie the cashier is amazing. She is friendly and kind. Very helpful. Great stuff to. Clothes, shoes, what ever you need. Parking is a plus. Safeway is right next door.

Prices are varied, and allot of the time wildly too high. There are deals to find simply because the level of stock is super high. But this place is so hectic it gives me anxiety! If you like looking through a ton of stuff and dont mind people literally everywhere around you then check this place out.

Terrific prices on everything . Clothes for the entire family, household goods, movies, music, kitchenware, furniture, electronics, and miscellaneous items. Real bargains on gently used products. Parking gets a bit congested from time to time but nothing like the mall. I love this place!

If you dont mind used items and you love inexpensive stuff this store is great. There are so many things you can find many random, but useful things there like crutches.

Some cool gems and ordinary cloths too. Loved how well organized the store is! Clean fitting rooms too! Kudos to the staff!

Honestly a bit disappointing. I came from Canada expecting American second hand stores to have a greater range of brands and styles, but this one did not meet such expectations. I like that unlike up North, certain coloured tags are 50% off, it made the shopping experience more like a scavenger hunt, but otherwise not exceptional.

I always find something from books, art, clothin even my favorite brands etc. Today a 5 star

Donate items and get a discount punch card for future purchases (same as at Hope thrift). If you park in the donate spaces, they will ask you to immediately move after you drop your stuff off.The donate door is directly to the left of the entrance, about 10 feet away. Some other thrift stores, the donate area is much farther away from the entrance.This is one of the larger thrift shops in the area. They also have another large shop on meridian and parkmoor in San Jose. Prices are very reasonable.They often have 50% off one color tag (items only stay in the store one week, each day is a different colored tag). They tag on sale is not heavily promoted, you often have to search for the signs to see which one is discounted that day.

Savers has changed, many of the items are priced just like if they were new. Many of the items that are used and priced like new you can find up the street at Costco and Walmart. Maybe new employees within the past three months and maybe new management? Dont understand the change.

I love this Savers. Its really huge and has a bunch of Mens clothing choices, from big brands. They also have plenty of books and dvds.

Best selection of items, current and in great condition, often I find new with tags. I was really excited to find the exact specialty item I was looking for this time too!

This place is great! Its a huge store, fully stocked with an awesome selection of everything and anything you can think of at very good, if not reasonable, prices! The shelves are kept well-stocked and the entire store is rather neat and organized (for a thrift store anyway). They have a very convenient drop off area right next to the front entrance of the store where you can pull up and easily unload donations. This place is way better than a lot of other overpriced, unorganized, low quality thifts Ive frequented... *COUGHgood* COUGHwill* COUGH*. ...Pardon me...Im shopping Savers from now on!

I found a great selection of jeans here. Stop by frequently to look for bargains. Tuesday is seniors day with addl discounts - I rarely go on Tuesdays because things are so picked over.

Ive always loved savers, and especially this store. The items are well organized and in fairly good condition.

Almaden expressway location:. TERRIBLE experience! Horrendous customer service. Outrageous. Spoke with manager who was unphased at my distress of being treated so shabbily. Still shocked at the level of incompetence/RUDENESS. Only my second time there, but I will not be returning unless I must to file a formal complaint. Buyer beware!

Like it, has very good things to wear but the reason i am giving this 4 stars is that kids dont find all good things like toys that are good for them.

Every time I shop there Im always treated with excellent customer service & the prices are cheap for conditions it is in. You can guarantee Im a be coming back regularly.
