I stopped in looking for a Ballast for an air compressor.The front of the building is very long however when you walk inside the show room is quite small. It’s very deceiving “the show room” as I watched the guy that was helping me jump on a picker and disappear into oblivion. 10 minutes later he returned with the part in hand. I can only guess how massive their where house must be, I mean who carries Ballast anyway let alone 50+ versions?Bottom line Grainger’s carries a massive amount of hard to get. Great, easy place to work with. They always seem to have everything in stock. On the rare occasion they dont, its never more than a day away. The Will-call/Pickup system they worked out is fast and efficient. No matter how long the line is you never wait more than 5 or 10 minutes max, to pick your order. Great job team!!

Their covid restrictions are over the top in my opinion And as always their prices are high. But it is hard to beat them as far as selection and convince is concerned. The staff is always friendly and willing to help.

Fairly painless if you are ordering online and driving through to pick up. Everyone there is friendly. Just make sure you have a mask on and stay in the vehicle and you will be fine.

1 hour wait for service during covid. Only one person was walking back and fourth doing customer service. Tesla employees be aware!!!
Literally sat here for no reason, Ana decided not to help is but didnt tell us and had us waiting an hour for no reason. If youre going to close when Ive been waiting here ATLEAST tell me so im not waiting for no reason.

I dont want to sound like a commercial, but...if you cant find what youre looking for at Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, or any other too/hardware place, chances are, not only will Grainger have it, but theyll have it at a good price.I needed metric drill bits. Neither Lowes, nor Ace, had them. Home Depot carried one brand, but they were machinery grade (far higher than what I needed)...plus, they were over $100. I found several on Amazon & eBay, and, while the process were cheap, Im certain the quality was, as well. The only...and, I DO mean ONLY...quality metric drill bit sets I could find of quality, and at a good price, were through Grainger. Enough said.

Well they are less and less industrial supply places left. Hard to get to this place. Once there it is set up very easy to order your stuff. Friendly staff. Main issue no more popcorn. Bummer.
Made a simple cash purchase a few days ago. To my huge surprise, the guy ringing me up said he needed my name -- first and last name. I asked why. Without missing a beat, he flatly said, Thats just what we do. I was hugely taken aback and considered leaving without continuing what should have been a very simple, straightforward transaction (a 24-pack of Niagara bottled water). Frankly, I felt my privacy was violated. In my entire life, I have never been told to give my full name (which he plugged into his terminal-register) on a simple cash purchase. My shock was obvious.As a longtime Grainger shareholder, I am not only shocked but concerned at this strange practice. Can someone please explain what the heck is going on? I have since shared my experience with a few friends and they are equally shocked. Really offensive.
Very good customer service, knowledgeable staff as well. Return policy is second to none, took back an LED sign and they returned it and made the process very easy. I highly recommend Grainger for your industrial supplies.

Extremely rude service person with an impatient tone and not really interested in helping me with my project. Also Jen to punt out that there are people waiting and that I need to move on and that is after only helping me for less than 5 mins. Not that you have to work with a rep since you do not have access to supplies. Just order online or have your order ready for pick-up.
These guys (and girls) bend over backwards for their customers. I think theyd give you the shirt off their back if you needed it. Great people and amazing selection in stock. They always have what I need in 3 differnent flavors. A+ in my book.
Poor service and no commitment of shipping. Ordered 20 pieces of equipment for my business. Originally estimated delivery date was 06/07. Got one package on 06/06 with only one piece out of 20 inside, saying the rest of them are back ordered. Got second package on 06/07 with another 5 pieces. Tracking showing the third package is coming on 06/12 and not sure how many I can get. The most terrible shipping experience ever.
Very poor customer service. I spoke with 3 different people. First person had no clue how to help. Second person tried to sell me the wrong part and the third person was just as helpful as the first. I will never give this company my time or business again. Complete waste of time and money!
I called for a PN that I didnt even know about but luckily Grainger Employees gave me what I was looking for with just a description. I drove there after and it took me a couple of minutes for them to look my part number, ring it up, and get back to work. Very professional here and they are ready to help you.
Extremely bad company and customer service. I placed an order a week ago, which is estimated to pick up today (2/14/2020). They cancelled the order without notice. I have been waiting for a week for nothing. Waste my time and delayed the item I need.

Poorly run business . Canceled my order without even informing me. I waited two weeks for nothing. If they at least have the courtesy telling me right away, I could have bought from somewhere else instead. Now no where to buy.
Really bad experience to shop online at Grainger that had no issue when I made an order but upon delivery day it sent an email to cancel my order to say the order is one restricted item; and even worst that the order history with account was gone although I have a printed copy at hand.
I was 10 minutes late and they opened for me, thank you guys!!
