I had a solid wood custom made garage door installed a few years back. Last month I noticed that it started closing with one side still about an inch from the floor. I didn’t want to let just anybody mess with this garage door because it was pretty expensive. I called Garage Doors inc. and Don came out to look at it.He gave it a thorough check up, then pulled out his tools and went to work. He adjusted the rails and reset the springs. I don’t know what all magic he did, but about 15 to 20 minutes later my garage door was closing perfectly. He then went further and sprayed lube on all the moving parts. It is so much quieter than it was before.These guys are the experts. I’m sure they do a great job on the standard door, but if you’ve got an expensive or custom made garage door, I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

I was very pleased with Don’s help in troubleshooting the problem I had with my lift master gate opener. He was very patient and thorough in determining the solution. After searching for years to find a professional, skilled and pleasant person to take care of my garage doors and Iron gates, finally my prayers were answered and I had a pleasure to meet Don Jensen from Garage Doors Inc. in my house. I left a simple phone message for Don about my acting gate system and he quickly replied with appointment time to come and look at the damaged opener arm for my liftmaster gate opener. He arrived right on time and took as much as time needed to diagnose the problem, came up with list of parts needed and rescheduled for his return in 2 days. He came back on time in two days and completed the repair and fine tuned the gate opener to better than original carelessly installed. incidentally my parent house had a gate problem that when I mentioned to Don, he kindly accepted to travel a long distance and correct that problem as well. I needed replacement garage door openers, put in a request for services Friday evening and heard back almost immediately. The openers were brought to my home and programmed for me on Saturday as scheduled. The work was done quickly and to my satisfaction.

Last week the spring on our garage door snapped, dropping the door and trapping our cars inside. We quickly checked with a couple of local places; both had full schedules. One sent a technician out, who noted that the service clearances made it too difficult to replace the spring - we sent some phone photos to the second vendor, who said it looked too complicated, and didnt want to get involved. We then contacted Scott Jensen at Garage Doors Inc, who immediately developed a plan from the pictures, and sent his techs out the next morning! They were on time, very professional, and quickly replaced the spring and performed maintenance on the door. Outstanding customer service in all respects!!

The spring broke on a Friday afternoon. I called and was told all the appointments were booked for the afternoon. When she asked if I was able to open the door and I said no, she asked me to give her a minute to see if she could get somebody to come over. A minute later, she called back and Don was on his way. I can honestly say that I love the new garage door that was made by Garage Doors, Inc custom for my home to my design needs. I provided a photo of the front of my house and I described the style of door I wanted and in just a day or so, the GDI representative sent me an update photo with what my house would look like with the new door installed. We chose a plantation series door with 12 clear windows. We were able to match the aspect ratio of the other windows on the front of the house. It made such a difference to the look of our house. We have had a number of compliments and one friend said they almost drove by the house on accident because it looked so different. I recommend exploring a custom wood garage door to anyone looking to improve their curb appeal and GDI has great options.

Terrible service and repair- do not use them. They came out to fix my broken door and never contacted me. I came home from work and my door would not open with the opener or from the inside.No note or explanation as to what they did. I called this morning and Shirley the dispatcher told me no one came to my house yesterday. They called me back and said their installer did in fact come out and they put my door on manual, which is why the opener didnt work.On my third call with them today they said they would have to order a new bottom panel, but cant do that until they send another person out to measure my door. Wouldnt you have done that when you came out to look at the door?As a result, I highly do not recommend you use this company.
