Wonderful selection of healthy plants and everything else for yards! I’ve been coming here over the years and have relied in their knowledge and advice.They also have a nice selection of gifts for the yard and walls and attentive customer service as I was offered tissue and bags for various gifts!Highly recommend them!

Not a place to go.For a regular person, the prices are same as big box stores...Customer service, poor and like 1988.. you cant take your cart into store, so if you have a few item, pots, its a circus.They ask you to pick up soil outthere..none shows up...Wide range of items but quality is average.Expert help..is not right..i asked two basic question on something i know and got wrong answer.Loading car..a small nightmare..one tiny entrance and cars everywhere.Parking lot..dangerous.. like a 3rd world country just bigger cars..trucks pulling big trailers.. lots if rock and sand..and wooden crates..wood pieces with nails..and idiots pulling on and out with no care to others..Dont go

Terrible customer service in the front end check out.. They dont greet anyone... When they finally call you to check out... Bad attitudes.. And at the end dont even bother to say thank you lol.. I understand they know business is always high but they should consider having a better attitude towards people and hire individuals that know what theyre doing cause it seems to me that no one there cares about service... I wont go back.. Seriously no one deserves to be treated like this.. Totally dont recommend ...

They have a big selection and I agree with the others that the customer service is awful. The ladies that check you out at the counter ALWAYS have an attitude and hate life. They don’t seem to like their job whatsoever.

Went to Payless Nursery to look for California natives and drought tolerant plants. Nice selection from which to choose. Lots of other types of plants as well.

Lots of great variety in their nursery. Very well stocked and the staff are always willing to help, they assisted me with the plants I looked for. Also like the great selection of rocks for my landscaping project. Prices are a bit high but its all worth it.

Adequate nursery filled with basics. A cute little indoor green house is home to a BUNCH of cute varieties! Saw a few signs of spider mites though. Lots of baby plants. Some cacti and basic succulents. Good selection of pots. Will be back to check their indoor stock!

Review for the nursery- we did not visit the hardware store or rockery. Great selection of plants and trees especially fruit trees. Everything was well maintained and healthy. Prices also seemed pretty reasonable. Always pays to shop around given lots of nurseries have similar selections and prices can vary.

Great small hardware store. Needed tin snips, walked in looked on wall next to checkouts, and found them. Most small home stuff, tools, BBQs, washers, screws, etc can be found here. They typically open and close early .🙂

This place is great! They have a pretty nice selection of plants and its just a breeze to get in and out of there. When buying soil you simply walk up to the cashier tell them which bags you want from the list and someone will be ready to load them into your car upon leaving. I also love supporting smaller businesses and you can definitely feel a higher level of care here compared to a big box store.

Had the valve i needed. Had to wait quite a long time for someone to unlock case with valves. One person can only help so many people at once. I think the guy before me wanted the employee to come to his place and do the job for him.......15 million questions, but the employee seemed to have helped him and answered all of his questions.

They always have an excellent selection of both landscaping and houseplants. If you like begonias, this is the ACE for you! They usually have at least 2 types other than the usual little wax begonias every garden center carries.

The place is lovely. The people are very knowledgeable however it seems like your bothering them every time you try to approach them. Around this time they are more well staffed than usual so that’s good. Their tillandsia (air plant) selection is awesome. I’ve personally bought a sundew, dragon plant, peace lily (which has flowered!) and an Iontha Airplant from here that is nicely blushed. Their prices are reasonable but on the high side. Otherwise everything here is great. Their hardware and rockery has a nice selection as-well.

I love this place. We purchased sand, cobble, flagstone, and boulders from Payless. Their prices are competitive and everyone weve worked with, including cashiers, phone orders, outdoor staff and delivery driver has been friendly and professional.

I bought three yards of planter mix from Payless Hardware and Nursery. After putting the soil most of the plants have dried. Is there any chemicals used in your soil? Because I lost so many growing plants. It is very disappointing.

I come here very often to buy materials for my projects. Great customer service and professionalism. I would like to give a special shoutout to Mr. Ismael who took care of me when I went to go get baserock dumped on my 2020 Tundra. He quickly go off his work vehicle and made sure my bed was protected by putting blankets around it and told me he would take care of it as if the truck the was his! What a nice guy, On my second trip that same day I bought bender board and by the time I returned to my truck he had tied some red flags with strings for extra safety! All the staff in general is always professional but that day Ismael surely stood out from everyone else!Siga adelante don Ismael! Amazing large nursery with a huge variety and the rocks they sell can be very handy for when you need it. The plants all look great and well cared for but some are very very expensive.

They have a big variety of plants. A staff member helped me find wisteria plants, and helped me select the right kind as there were options. He helped me load the heavy plant onto my cart. We also found some fruit plants wouldnt find at Home Depot. So glad I came here. I will definitely come back here for more plants.

At 5:40 on a Friday afternoon I went in at ace Payless hardware and rockery. As soon as I went in I was greater by a gentleman that found someone to show me grills. After looking at the grill I was interested on buying the gentleman offer the display or one in a box, I said thank you and told him I will come back and look for him when I was ready. Suddenly the “owner” or someone who claim to be the owner said he will not sell me the display grill and that he had no more grills in a box either and he told me to come back after the holiday to see if he would think about selling it then. Is this how this store operates?? If you go to store to buy something you should be able to buy when you need it not when they want to sell it to you.

Not the cheapest. They have a good selection of work belts that are of great quality from B&J leather. They also have soldering supplies and good selection of air filters (for home use) and gardening equipment from the mild at heart gardener to the master arbor man. Hands down one of the best spots for summer plants. Much better than orchard. The advise I have gotten from everyone here over the years since my childhood has lead me and our family to trust them nearly blindly. We have never been steered wrong or BSed. The Grill and outdoor fire pit selection is very nice and they seem to sell more quality products than orchard. You get what you pay for here.

Good selection of plants and reasonably priced

Outrageous nursery markups! Bought a kumquat with about 18 height for $89.99. The soil came apart when removing the kumquat for planting, revealing that the actual root ball was about 1/4 the pot. I looked up the grower, Four Winds Growers, and realized I could have bought the same plant for $30, plus $7 shipping. Kumquat twice the size sells for $50 plus $10 shipping. Everybody has bills but re-potting to jack up the price that much is deceiving. With only three plant available, the selection was lousy. Wish I had used my phone to do some simple searches for comparative shopping.

They have pretty much everything you need here for your home projects. The nursery is well stocked with a nice variety of plants and gardening accessories. The rockery has stone, blocks and pavers with a display. The hardware store has pretty much everything you need for indoor and outdoor projects. Customer service is friendly and helpful. Glad to have this store in the area.

Poor customer service. I bought some bird seeds and decided to walk and look around since I have not been in the store for a long time. I happened to see an open box of bathroom light/exhaust fan and started looking at it. An employee came by and asked if I was buying it. I said no and that I was only looking at it. He assumed and blamed me for opening it. He saw another box of a bathroom exhaust fan that was also already opened and insinuated that I was also the one that opened it as well. He grabbed the two open boxes and was upset at me saying I should not be opening the boxes. Now I remembered why I go to OSH across the street when they were still in business.

I was there to get some rocks for my backyard... person who was weighing the rock did not wear face covering and does not want to maintain social distancing..store should advise their employees to strictly follow the rules.

Their prices might be a little high but they always have what I need. I appreciate the fast customer service at the nursery and the hardware store. If you cant find it yourself they will walk with you to the item and explain what ever information you might need to know, so you actually walk out of there smarter than you walked in. Keep up the great work, youre gonna be busy when OSH is gone.

My toilet started leaking from the back of the tank! Yikes! I removed the lid and took a picture of the problem. I showed it to John and he knew exactly what I needed and he carefully explained to me how to do the repair. I followed his instructions and the job was done in five minutes! THANK YOU JOHN! Im glad I came to John instead of the Home Depot just down the road.

Staff very knowledgeable, owner notToo friendly.

I bought a yard of premixed concrete. The concrete was good. The price is little bit high. The real problem came when I return the trailer. They made me to clear the trailer all the way down to the metal. I spent good 40 min to wash, clean with my hands. They provided a brush for you to use, but the brush is so worn that it doesnt do the job. I probably would not come back again. But if I do, I will bring my power wash and power brush with me.

Received immediate help that was most knowledgeable, patient, and thorough. Highly recommend this place if you have questions or not sure what you need. Folks here are willing to listen and offer good advice.

For being on that side of town this is a good place to get supplies if youre in construction really nice people in there too I got a wide range of building supplies are all the way out there on Capitol 101 and theres not a Home Depot or anything around there Ive actually been there 3 times in a month it had things Ive needed youre a big help
