Shaun Frost, PA has provided excellent healthcare for my ear conditions and is very knowledgeable and caring. He gets to the root of the problem quickly and knows the correct treatment without wasting anyone’s time. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking help for any ear conditions they may have.
My husband was seen by Shawn Frost PA-C. He has had two appointments and we are extremely satisfied by Shawns knowledge of ears, nose and throat. My husband has problems with wax in his ears, Shawns removal of the wax has been the most comfortable and complete he has ever had in over 25 years.
For my second appointment, I was 14 minutes late (because Google Maps took me to a nearby hospital instead of Camino ENT office). when I arrived, there was neither any patient in the waiting room, nor in Dr. Carters office, but she refused to see me. This happened despite the fact that she knew I was suffering from a progressive condition, and that I needed help ASAP. My appointment was on July 9th but I didnt write a review back then. Now, I just received a bill indicating that she has charged me $50 dollars for a no show office visit and it made me furious.P.S. in the third appointment, I told her that the medications she prescribed in the first appointment (based on her hypothesis from going over my past MRIs) made my condition even worse. She explained to me that there arent any other things that she would like to try to make my condition better, and that I should make another appointment for 6 months later. I am still confused! I havent ever been so disappointed in an individual caregiver before.P.S.2. I just remembered that she refused to see me only after taking a procedural test. Once the test was done (and I was charged) her assistant told me that I was late and missed my appointment with Dr. Carter. I am even more furious now!
Dr. Samji was great, he listened to what I had to say. He talked to me instead of at me, and explained things in a way that I could understand. I highly recommend him!
The office staff is excellent and the Doctors could not have been nicer. They know what they are doing and I feel that I am getting the best treatment. I am very happy with every aspect of my treatment as I go thru it.
I had a sudden onset of unilateral tinnitus in my left ear, so I made two appointments at Camino Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic for a hearing test and a follow up with a doctor. The hearing test went fine. The staff and doctor perfuming the test were polite and professional. My follow up appointment didnt go as well. The person I saw turned out to be a physicians assistant. If I had known that, I would have asked to see an actual MD instead, The PA that saw me diagnosed me within seconds of meeting me. His claim that my sudden onset of tinnitus was caused by jaw clenching or teeth grinding was almost comical. I have never been told that I clench my jaw or grind my teeth, and the fact that this PA was completely unwilling to entertain any other possible causes of my tinnitus was very disappointing. I had questions about a new prescription medication Im taking that can cause tinnitus, but he dismissed that out of hand and kept circling back to his jaw clenching diagnosis. The whole visit was a complete waste of time. He repeatedly told me that Tinnitus is just a sound, which I found to be extremely condescending. He basically told me that I have to just learn to deal with it, and maybe I should find a support group or go read a website for more information.UPDATE - 10/26/2021. I went to another ENT doctor who took my symptoms seriously and ordered an MRI. Well, I have a benign tumor on the auditory nerves, plus unspecified lesions within the supratentorial white matter. Both of these are serious. So, I wanted to reiterate for all those who may be experiencing tinnitus, find an MD who will listen to you and take your health seriously. If I had followed the advice given to me Camino Ear, Nose & Throat Clinic, I would have been completely unaware of two potentially serious medical conditions.
Easy to reach and make an appointment. Punctual service, very professional. Office is always kept clean and in order. Payments are in and out. Staff is extremely friendly.
Staff and doctors were efficient, professional, empathetic, and very competent. I only needed to go once but it was one of the best medical visits Ive had in a long while.
I was treated for nasal polyps. Dr. Samji is highly experienced, exceptional professional. The surgery for the removal of nosal polyps went very well. With in one day after surgery, I am pain free and recovered well.
My father and I both had appointments which were very positive experience. Office is confidently located near fathers home. Office is clean and spacy. Front desk personnel were pleasant and helpful. Dr. Samji was very thorough and knowledgeable, attentive and efficient. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Samji.
The office is clean and the staff is courteous. Shaun Frost, PA-C gave me excellent care when I lost hearing in one ear. I have fully recovered thanks to his correct diagnosis and treatment. I highly recommend him and this office.
My doctor was very thorough and was able to diagnose my cough and treat it.
My experience with the Camino Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic was great. My allergy and asthma doctor referred me to them, as they werent too far from my house. The doctor I saw was very helpful in figuring out what my problem is and how to deal with it. The endoscopy he did was very quick and wasnt unpleasant at all. So I would definitely go back again if needed.
Christina Biondolillo, NP was phenomenal and helped resolve my issue in a quick and painless way. Scheduling the appointment was quick and very helpful. As a physician myself, I would trust Camino Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic for any ENT issue!
Poor communicationWhen I visit the office they told me that they need my insurance card, but I didn’t have it with me.Why they don’t require these information before scheduling an appointment? Or let patient know that physical insurance card is required.I drove 15 mins to see the doctor, but I had to turn back with the pain in my ear. Too annoying
Great Patient Care! Dr Samjay is the best!
I was in San Jose from out of town and has a receiver go bad. I called to see if Camino had a new 2SL. They said yes and said come on down and we will get you one and take a quick look at the aide to make sure all else is good. Same day picked it up. The cost was the same that I get from my AUD. No charge for the inspection. Thanks.
Initial visit with Dr Michael Murray on March 29th for surgical consultation for severe/profound hearing loss and bothersome tinnitus. I was feeling ambivalent about the visit because of a previous, difficult surgery many years ago. I also felt excited about the possibility of regaining some hearing, and perhaps, lessening the burden of tinnitus. All in all it was a very positive visit.Dr Murray was kind, attentive and easy-going. He spent considerable time with me and my husband and answered our questions in detail. I tend to get anxious at medical visits and truly appreciated his demeanor and the calm and quiet office and staff.I have decided to pursue the recommended stapedotomy and will schedule it as soon as I receive the call from the scheduler.
Dr. Murray was attentive and diagnosed the problem quickly. He moved fast to set up the surgical procedure and it was a success. All this was going on during the pandemic. But there were great protocols in place at his office.
With last visit, Dr. has ordered sleeping, Allergy study and even found a teeth issue which I went to dentist and have it fixed already.Looking forward to the new sleeping study.
Very thorough and knowledgeable. Fantastic experience at this clinic.
Check in process was very smooth. Staff was helpful and Dr. Carter was knowledge and helpful. Thank you for helping me at this difficult time.
Saw Dr. Bergeron, audiologist. Got a thorough hearing test. Followed by seeing Dr. Shaun Frost, PA-C. Got a thorough review of things, ear wax removal and further recommendations. Very very helpful.
DO NOT GO HERE. I do not write bad reviews very often but be warned the doctors and clinic here are very greedy and deceptive, I got scammed several hundreds of dollars in unnecessary office procedures for a simple cleaning, ended up costing over triple what they said when I booked the appointment, then they tried to get me to schedule several unnecessary follow up appointments and slapped me with even more fees after cancelling a follow up even though I canceled days in advance. The reception staff are also extremely rude and inconsiderate. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any doctors office.
Great service and help. Very professional and friendly.
Im new to this ENT Clinic. Very hesitant to go to a hospital in current conditions, but when i went there, i was surprised. This is the facility following strict county guidelines. Very clean facility. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.Overall i can give them a 100* being courteous and punctual.
I was seen by Ms Blondoillo who was very through in her examination of my problem and very patient & clear in her explanation to me. I have been happy with all the practitioners that I have seen at the clinic.
Great doctor, extremely knowledgeable, he listens, cares and is smart. Definitely recommend.
Good Covid-19 practices. Pleasant rooms. Really appreciated the large room for hearing testing: Ive been in some tiny spaces at other places. Comprehensive hearing test. Excellent care and diagnosis by Dr. Carter. The only thing Id like to suggest is a better email system as that is something I use with other doctors.
Courteous professionals that took time to really listen to my problems and knew the steps that would fully remedy my issues. Thankyou!
The worst place in California, bad front desk service, the doctor discriminate his patient and very poor professionalism when you are in pain and he look at you and says “i don’t what I can do” so crazy for a doctor with years studying in health... NOT RECOMENDED!
Personnel was super nice . The specialist that took care of my husband a wonderful lady that understood the problem and worked with him and made the appointment super easy.
Amazing experience. They found out my problem in first setup. Hope to follow up and get it fixed.
Ken was fantastic and went out of his way to help me understand my health issues. We need more people like him in medicine!
Great service. Friendly people with much knowledge
Efficient process. Polite and resourceful staff. Dr. Samji is very articulate and clear on the analysis and very effective in discussing the specifics of the case.
Love Dr. Carter! She is very thorough with her treatments. She has great recommendations. The staff and nurses are also friendly and helpful!
I went for ear wax removal, I was seen only by an assistant, none of the doctors came to in to even see what’s going on, the assistant was not competent, left my left ear canal with many wounds and the right ear with most of wax still there. She said it’s clean but we saw otherwise when we used otoscope at home. There should be supervisor over the assistants there
Great visit wth new Doctor - tuned into my allergy and hearing issues.
Our family has been treated by Dr. Carter who is very knowledgeable, accurate and kind. She is very friendly and caring and we are so glad to be under her care. My son and daughter had their tonsils removed and my allergy and thyroid were treated. Thank you Dr. Carter and her staff!
Extremely professional and helpful. Highly recommend!
Dr. Carter is very nice. She takes the time to answer questions and is very personable. She fixed my sons previously broken/slightly crooked nose and fixed a bad sinus issue. He can breathe through his nose again!
After dealing with ear issues for many years, it was determined that I needed surgery and I was referred to Dr. Michael Murray. He is fantastic and I totally trust him with my ears! I would highly recommend him and this practice is exceptional. Beautiful office, friendly and helpful staff all around. If you are trying to find a great ENT, look no further.
Great staff, very professional and cared about my needs.
Very pleasant both with front office staff and with PA.
I have had chronic ear issues my whole life and I had to search for a great ENT. Dr Murray and his staff are fantastic. I have been very pleased with my visits and he is very patient and thorough with his assessments. I have a fear of my ears being touched and he takes his time and works within my comfort zone. I would highly recommend Camino Ear Nose and Throat Clinic.
We are long time patients and when I tried to make an appointment today, they told me IAm unable to unless I give a credit card. That is not ok. I don’t pay bills that way! Terribly disappointing I will need to find another ENT!
Excellent friendly staff, doctor kept me comfortable during ear wax removal. Definitely worth the visit
Good service, friendly staff, very professional. My one complaint; despite being listed on the Anthem Blue Cross website, and telling them when making the appointment what insurance I had, when I got there they told me my insurance didnt cover the visit. So yeah Anthem - go figure, right? Thats a whole other review. Anyway, Camino ENT could have checked my insurance more carefully and at least let me know what I was in for.
Dr. Samji is the best!
The beautiful offices point the way to excellent doctors and service. I have been their many times and have never waited longer than 5 minutes, past my appointment time, to see a doctor. Front office folks are very friendly and caring.
The clinic is extremely well staffed and contemporary. My wife and I have each needed services on occasion, and each time we were treated quickly and with the utmost of tender care. Very thoughtful and skilled people. Thank you.
I’ve been a patient of Dr Samji’s for over five years and have had numerous sinus issues and surgeries. Each time Dr Samji has gone above and beyond to help me recover, feel cared for. His genuine concern for my wellbeing, comfort, and recovery is priceless. His skill and knowledge matches his willingness to listen and hear concerns I have. I cannot praise him and his staff enough for the help I’ve received. I’d be far worse off had i stayed being seen elsewhere.
Easy appointment scheduling, good parking, well laid out clinic. My moms fairly mobility challenged, and even she thought it was easy to get around in the office. And the staff was all very helpful and professional and we felt very welcome.
Outstanding service. Very good accurate, helpful, and professional.
Dr. Samji is a very professional doctor and I highly recommend him
Dr. Murray is so great! I struggled a lot with my ears nose and sinuses. Been a pretty much uphill battle and getting worse as I get older. I never had answers from doctors that just kind of threw stuff at me or you know hurt me a lot by doing unnecessary procedures Etc.When I came here for dr. Marie I remember thinking to myself man this is it just another day another doctor doing me list things to me that will give me no real solution. Well here I am two years later two sinus surgeries down finally for the first time in my life being able to live my life. This doctor is so great and anyone that ever has ever had chronic issues urge you to come here. The staff and everyone here are so nice and the doctors are so knowledgeable. Not only knowledgeable but compassionate and understanding.
I have been a patient of Dr. Murray at Camino ENT for several years. I have been to all of their office locations. I primary go to the San Jose clinic. I have found the Camino ENT team members to be professional, caring and customer service oriented. Even during the Covid-19 period of time they handled appointments in a professional manner. If I I need to call to change my appointment Dr. Murrays assistant listens to my needs and is always able to help me. Dr. Murray and his team are the best and I would not consider going anywhere else for my ENT care needs.
I highly recommend Dr. Samji and Camino ENT. Dr. Samji performed Sinus Surgery on me in Dec. 2019. He opted for the minimal necessary procedure which was a relief to me. The surgery was quick and post-op recovery was quick and painless. The outcome so far has been excellent.Only area for improvement would be pre-surgery communication with the office. I think Dec is a really busy time for surgeries so maybe that was a factor in very slow communication - adding to the stress of surgery a bit.
Lots of great information and advice during recent visit with Dr Carter at Camino ENT.
Great customer service that makes me always want to use Camino ENT.I want to highlight the amazing customer experience I had today with Vanessa Yanez at Camino ENT in San Jose. I have always had great customer service with Camino, but today Vanessa went above any expectation of helping me solve a hearing aide problem. Her help, friendliness and problem solving were great, and in the era of COVID-19, they get scored as exemplary. Thank you Vanessa for your tremendous service.
Recent Surgery (Oct 2019) with Dr. H Samji and I couldnt be More pleased with Him and his entire staff!. Holly was very welcoming and His Assistant Lauren was Incredible with making sure All Pre-Op Needs and Aftercare Questions were answered.. Surgery was a Success and being an Out of state patient this Facility made traveling worry free and I HIGHLY recommend and Would definitely return if needed..
The staffs and Doctors at the office are professionals. They know what they are doing. The ladies that did the hearing test for my daughter is very friendly and nice. The wait time is not too long. Overall, I think it is the best ENT clinic in San Jose.
Good experiences with the front desk, assistants, audiologists, and Drs. Samji, Carter, Murray, and Nelson. Whether they recruit well or manage the culture well -- probably both -- its a friendly, prompt, professional staff.
Finally we found a specialist group that is kind and friendly from the front desk to the doctor and every staff member step in between. It is so hard finding a pediatric specialist team that actually knows how and enjoys working with children. We went through some really disappointing experiences with very highly recommended groups before we found Dr. Murray and his team. We couldnt be more pleased with all of our experiences with this group, were so lucky to have found them. The care my children are receiving is now so high touch, and I feel very heard.
These guys are terrific. I had the pleasure of seeing Shaun Frost, PA-C for my initial visit. He was caring, compassionate, and professional from start to finish. My second visit was with Kelly Brennan, AuD who exhibited the same level of humanity and knowledge throughout my visit. With offices in San Jose and Morgan Hill, they are located conveniently, their facilities top-notch. For all things Ear, Nose & Throat they come with my highest recommendation.
I really like this place, I usually see Shawn Frost when I go there. He does excellent work on cleaning my ears and hes very friendly but the only thing that needs to be improved is the lobby reception personnel they need to be more friendly and I would have gave 5 stars., they also have great doctors..but its a super nice place.
Dr Carter is very meticulous and professional.Thank you!
Friendly, professional staff, nice updated office. I see Dr. Clark and appreciate her bedside manner. Listens and tells me what I need to know in a way I can understand. Bit out of the way for me, but when you like your doctor, its worth it.
Very professional team. Appointment making process is streamlined. Their referrals are great.
All of my visits to Camino ENT have been great. Dr. Jennifer Tucker is very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Michael Murray is a top-notch surgeon. The front staff at Camino ENT are always friendly and courteous. I recently saw Dr. Bergeron. She is also very good. Everyone at the office from front reception to assistants have been great.
Wonderful doctors and staff. Dr. Murray is an amazing surgeon and the office staff are very helpful and responsive.
This is a well run office, and Dr. Carter is always on time. She diagnosed, operated on and basically cleared my many years of sinus infections. Anyone with chronic sinus issues will understand, her treatment changed my daily life.
They took me in as a new patient, in the middle of the Covid-19 situation, they are taking good preventive measures and risking their own health to look for others, true heroes in my opinion.
The place is nice and clean. The reason why I give it four stars is because we went in to talk to Dr Carter about a tonsillectomy and she shot us down and refused to even consider due to personal opinion of the surgery. She seems like a nice, professional doctor, but if she is going to refuse a service completely, she needs to put it as a disclaimer on her website profile or something so a patient doesnt waste their time and money.
If you are fortunate enough to be considering Dr. Murray as your ENT physician, you did a great job to get to this point. If you have been to the office, you are impressed with the engaging staff, and awesome interior design. You have met Dr. Murray? His bedside manner sets the standard. But really, is that enough? These reviews are all from happy patients. How can you compare? I am happy to share that I have been with Dr. Murray for 14 years and the reason I stay with him is that he is brilliant, and a genius. If you think about it, these two terms are not the same and being both rare. I have been to the best and most famous Bay Area ear clinics in Palo Alto and San Francisco. A few ENT doctors I have seen consider themselves among the best in the world. I am certain that none of these past ENT doctors I have seen have the combined experience, skill, talent, knowledge, and passion that Dr. Murray has.
Doctors and staff so friendly and helpful Took time to address all my vocal issues.
This is a great place! The doctors and staff are amazing. They listen to your issues, give their best assessment and recommendations follow by solutions.
I should have posted a long time ago about how great this place is. I knew from my first appointment that this would be my ENT. Dr. Carter performed surgery on me earlier this year, and I had amazing results. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and I feel that she genuinely cares about my wellbeing. She has given excellent referrals as well. And the rest of the staff is super friendly and easy to talk to. Shaun Frost was extremely helpful when I had some issues and responded promptly to my emails.
One of the best doctors visits Ive ever had! Quick, but thoughtful service. My nose problems which had bothered me for a year and a half with another doctor completely stopped after I started going here.
Dr. Samji is awesome with kids, and patient with parents. He takes his time, explains everything, and answers all questions. And his assistant is super friendly and helpful. Great front staff, also.
We love our specialist here dr. Murray is the best
I have had ear problems all my life. Ive been to many of the ENT in the bay area. Camino has been by far the most professional. The staff is kind and understanding which is rare. I have to give a shout out to the two girls in the front office. Dr. Murray is my hero though, he operated on my ear almost a month ago and Ive noticed an improvement. This is a life changer. I totally recommend Camino ENT.
I went to Camino ENT in San Jose for a hearing test because myself and many friends believed it was time for me to address my hearing problems. I had put it off for to long. From the very first time I walked into their office I was greeted professionally and warmly by the staff. It turned out to be a wonderful experience and I felt totally comfortable. Right away you could tell that every member of their staff was highly trained in their field. Dr. Tucker was the person I was put in touch with. She was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Dr. Tucker explained every detail of my hearing test so I could understand it. There was no pressure or push in any way to sell me anything. I left the office knowing way more and why I was having hearing problems. Plus, Jennifer, Dr. Tucker, explained the different ways to correct my hearing loss.If I were to give Camino ENT San Jose a number grade it would be overwhelmingly 100%.I live in Morgan Hill and can’t wait to visit and have my hearing test given from their new office.
CMT has been a great experience for my 8 year old. Doctor knows how to engage with children and there is no fear involved. One of the rooms has toys which is even better.
I had a middle ear infection and lost a good portion of my hearing. I called Camino ENT San Jose and I was able to have an appointment right away. They performed a hearing test and then I had a consultation with Shaun Frost. He explained to me in detail my situation; prescribed some medication and asked me to email him midweek to see how I was doing. I had a followed up meeting a week later and was checked immediately. Everybody in the office is very friendly and professional, I would definitely recommend Camino ENT.
Great service and very beautiful clinic. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked in. We worked with Dr. Carter who saw our 2 week old son and she was amazing to work with She was kind and patient at answering all questions
Great place, helped me out, very kind
I was recently referred to Dr Lionel Nelson by my Primary Care Doctor. Alli who answered the phone provided the worst customer service of any doctors office I have ever called. She was unable answer the questions I was asking about my insurance and referred me to her supervisor Serena. First impressions often say a lot about a business and I am definitely not impressed.
The staff is nice, but the office is too far away for me so traveling there is risky to remain punctual for appointments. The appointments are very difficult to get if you want them soon and at a day/time of your liking.
I took my daughter for hearing test after she failed the test at school. The doctor tested her once and suggested to repeat the test in a week to make sure the results and consult with an expert. Just due to schedule conflict with the expert, they scheduled us a month after. After I got the bill, I noticed that the test was considered done twice and also billed twice for them to make sure the results? For less than 10 minutes talk with the expert, I was charged more than $500 and the expert didnt even call me back to answer my question. This place seemed pricey. Other than that, the facility and the services of doctors who did the tests and staff are nice.
Ana is an amazing audiologist and a very kind person. 100% recommended!
I have been suffering from nose and ear problems for over a year. I went to a different ENT and they didnt put in nearly as much care or determination to help me as Camino ENT. I am currently taking medications (fingers crossed that they are effective!!), but Dr. Margaret I believe is incredibly nice and is comforting in the fact that she said she is going to make me better no matter what. You can tell that this facility has genuine concern for their patients and are willing to go to great lengths to help! Def reccomend coming here for any ENT problems!
Shaun Frost is a very attentive PA that I visited many times for tinnitus and repeat sinus infections. I think Shaun is an invaluable asset to Camino ENT. With great patience and care he was thorough in describing what was going on and what I could do about it.When it became clear that I was in need of a surgical intervention, the alternative options were explored as well, the ability to schedule a procedure at my own pace.Dr. Murray, the ENT surgeon put me at ease and demonstrated great confidence in his ability to alleviate the problems seen in my CT scan. He explained all the steps involved and what to expect post-op following my sinus surgery. With several follow-up visits required, Dr. Murray has continued to be very attentive and ensured that I was recovering well. The reception desk and nurses are all very friendly and quick to greet and care for you. The practice has several locations, I have visited another of them and they were just as pleasant and helpful as the San Jose office. All locations are impeccably clean, organized, and have very modern decor. Youre unlikely to wait but nonetheless, the magazine selection is broad and very current (a good measure of an offices attention to patient care starts at the waiting room).Prior to my successful surgery, my 2 year old toddler had ear tubes implanted without issue which prompted me to make an initial appointment with them.If you are having any issues with your ears, nose, and of course throat I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Camino ENT.
Thank you for your great service!
This doctor is a complete joke. He changes his diagnosis every visit and is always trying to push promotional medical devices even when they arent needed! The first visit I was told that I have a deviated septum and he said that I need to get surgery asap or I wouldnt be able to breathe right for the rest of my life. He then told me we would talk about the surgery more at the next appointment. When the next appointment came around I brought up the surgery (he looked in my nose again) and said that I absolutely dont have a deviated septum and that I dont need surgery. He then told me he couldnt find anything wrong and then insisted I get tubes in my ears just to see if it would help (he admitted that I have no concrete diagnosis and that he was trying this to see if it would help even though there was no concrete proof it would.) Stay away!!
I have seen two doctors in this office (Samji for Eagles Syndrome & Murray for Menieres Disease). Though I cant speak for the other doctors in the office, these two are excellent physicians/surgeons. Both take the time to listen to me during my appointments & are respectful & professional. I appreciate that neither one has ever made me feel like theyre in a hurry to get through my appointment so they can get to the next patient. This is true even when Ive been fit into an already full day for one or the other of them. The office staff is friendly, professional and helpful as well.
I have had exercise and sleeping breathing issues for years. Dr. Murray diagnosed my condition and performed turbinate reduction surgery. I am amazed at the improvement. I will still need the cpap- but my breathing is no longer labored.
This is the best ENT office around. Dr. Samji is predictably perfect: professional, gentle, direct. The staff is also great. I highly recommend the entire office.
I’ve taken 2 of my kids for various reasons. Both and doing much better under their care.
