Customer service is not a big goal of this place. They are not helpful and are rude. We left and went to South Bay Materials. They were way more polite and helpful. It was like night and day.

This is a great place! Reasonable pricing and quick service. Bring a work truck and they can drop anything into your bed. Need a Boulder for decoration or a garden focal point? They have that too. Quality of stones and pavers are top notch. The quality and service you get here would dictate a high premium price, but here you get great reasonable prices! Will remain a dedicated customer due to their service and price.

Ive looked at a few places in the area for my materials and Ive concluded that nobody has a more helpful staff than U-Save.Prices have been the best on materials and delivery, as far as Ive seen.They offer good service, good prices, and plenty of options.My only feedback:Please post some information on your website regarding pricing! I feel your staff is very patient with calls about pricing, but if you had some information on your website, I (we) would be able to do the math ourselves and expedite things.That being said I have very much appreciated your staff and their patience with calls of that nature.

If you are landscaping and ready to put the work in- here is a great place to start! Everyone I have interacted with has been really helpful and it is very easy going. I have bought multiple types of rocks from here and done several landscape home projects. You can use one of their bags and shovel and fill up on rocks or sand. Or for larger projects bring a truck and they will fill up the bed. No truck? If you are relatively close it isnt a problem. I had 3 tons of sand delivered to my house for a reasonable fee.

U Save Rockery has a vast selection of rocks, stones, pavers, sand and landscaping materials. If you have a small project, you can buy stones by the sack which you will bag yourself or you can have a large load delivered. I have purchased mulch and various stones for my yard from this place and they have always been very helpful. Their selection is better than other nearby landscape supply yards. It’s worth a visit.

This place has good selection and the lowest cost in the south Bay area. You have to do the bagging or loading yourself if you buy small quantities. Else they load with with a tractor. Price is about 30% less

Horrible customer service! I have purchased 800 pieces red bricks from the store, and I still need another 150 pieces. Last time when I arrived at the store some left over red brick on the floor are not in good condition. I have asked them to open another pack red bricks for me. They said NO. One worker said “if you are not take these red bricks on the floor, I am not going to open new pack of red bricks for you” They force me to buy the left over bricks. I was shocked! I never heard any business force customers to buy the staff they do not want. I asked them to refund my money back.They are very rude, bully customers. I am regret that I bought some bricks from them before. Never go back this store! If you need any bricks, go to Mountain View Garden Center or Peninsula Building Materials. Their service and produces are much better!

Im really rating the person at the desk (owner?). Everyone else deserves 5 stars. Went in this morning to get 4 bags of screened topsoil. Two people in front of me. I wait. Its my turn. She gets me 4 empty bags to fill. I asked her how much (so I can pay). Oh, you fill the bags, come back to the office, and then we charge you. HUH? I told her all the other times, I would pay, shovel (my own shovel) and then Im on my way. Thats not the way we do it around here. Its my rules, said Madame dictator. There is no logic in her way. So, I shovel; return back to the office, and now I have to wait for 3 people ahead of me (when I could have paid and left originally). I have deadlines to meet. I cant dilly-dally around. This woman is clueless.

I got blocks and rocks for retaining wall from them and then returned unopened palette with blocks.They delivered everything on time. They refunded empty palettes I returned. Returning unopened palette with blocks took me couple of extra calls but they picked it up from my house and even refunded some amount to my credit card in the end. My overall experience was good.

Much cheaper than Home Depot, and found exactly the shapes and colors of rocks we needed for our backyard landscaping. Friendly helpful staff.

Service is good as well as the prices. And they deliver on time

I came here to buy ingredients for a gritty mix for my succulents. I needed crushed granite and firk bark. This is the BEST place to pick up any kind of stone you need. Its so cheap here because they sell in bulk! I only need 1 bag of each item so I walked away with ingredients for my gritty mix for a fraction of the price of those pre-made bonsai mixes. Ill check back here for updates on their size consistency because thats important for making a good quality gritty mix and having lots of waste is bad. So far their stone quality is very good and size is consistent by looking at it. I havent sifted it out yet.Im extremely satisfied with the customer service here as well. I didnt know how purchasing worked but the lady in front helped me get some bags and told me exactly where the items I needed were located. The place is huge so I would have had to walk all over to find what I needed.Some tips:- they have bags for you. Dont need to bring your own.- you can drive into the lot and put the items in your car. Dont need to carry heavy loads to the parking area.- they have shovels.Ill come again when I use up my gritty mix and need to make more!

We picked up our landscaping rocks here making several trips. They were very helpful and the prices were reasonable. They have bags to shovel the rocks into and shovels to borrow. Bring your bags back to reuse. We will need to remove more lawn and will come back.

The got bark in black brown and a couple of other color, all kinds of gravel, they also have thick fabric underlay for the ground. Keeps the weeds out.
