Great place. I thought my brakes needed work/adjusting. They checked out the brakes and other things because Im taking a small road trip. All was good and they didnt even charge for the inspection.

Avery Automotive is the only place I have work on my cars. Being a car guy I have dealt with many automotive repair and service shops over the past 40 years. Jeff and his professional staff are incredible. They take the time to help you understand what is necessary and what to expect. I drive over 25 miles to have them service my vehicles. I took my car to Avery to have the transmission checked because it seemed as if there were some strange vibrating noises and some rattling sounds coming from it. They checked the transmission and found that the clutch throwout bearing was bad. They told me that there was nothing wrong with the transmission, which was a relief.So, I had them replace the clutch. Not only was the throwout bearing bad, but the clutch was completely worn out. Now, my car is fixed with no more problems.Whats even better, though, was Averys customer service. Jeff and Tito were friendly and helpful, and they answered all of my questions. They kept the parts from my cars clutch and let me go back into their shop to see the clutch and discuss it with their mechanic.The mechanic explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions so that I could understand exactly what was going on with my cars clutch and the strange noises I had been hearing.I have been to a lot of shops in the past, and it is hard to find a shop like this one. I wont get into what I have seen in some other shops except to say that it can be pretty sad.Avery did a good job repairing my car. The cost for replacing my cars clutch was low, and they even gave me a loaner car to drive while my car was being repaired. I am not sure what more you could ask for. I found a Avery Automotive the best place to get my car fixed in the area. Im in the military and they gave me 20% off, which is way better than anywhere else. They also are quick so you can get your car back, they also do a great job. My car runs smoother than it did before. I highly recommend avery automotive.

Ive taken my Pontiac to Avery 4 times now. The last visit was to replace the engine. Fair pricing, quick work, great communication and solid repair work. This is the only place my wife and I take our cars. The owner Jeff couldnt be nicer. I highly recommend Avery Automotive.

My car was due for a oil change and checkup and I had noticed my car was acting funny so I had called Avery Automotive and spoke to Jeff to schedule an appointment for today. Of course the day I was planning to bring it in, my car wouldnt start!! It totally died. I had assumed my battery give out (which it was). So had to call roadside assistance and a tow truck came out to help me. But anyways my car was dropped off in the morning and was finished by the afternoon! I drove away with a fresh oil change, general check up, a new battery, and it was all at a reasonable price! And I got a free pen from Jeff! Im definitely bringing my car here for future maintenance/ car issues. Awesome service! The best San Juan Capistrano auto repair I ever had.

I had been going to another service center for years - they were great guys, always did a good job. Found out through a family friend about Jeff and Avery Automotive, had something come up on my beloved Chevy Avalanche and thought I would give Jeff and his crew a try.Two things happened: first, I had developed a bad vibration and wobble in the front end while driving. Took it to the tire shop where I had purchased the tires and they said my front end needed tons of work - thousands of dollars in repairsJeff and his crew checked out my front end and tires - and found out it was nothing more than the wheels being balanced horribly wrong. A short time later - because they had the correct equipment and expertise - my truck was riding like glass again.The second thing - Jeff and his crew checked the truck from top to bottom and said there was nothing else that needed to be fixed in the front end, or the rest of the truck. While he did tell me there were parts wearing down, nothing was out of standards that needed replacement.He literally saved me thousands of dollars, just by being honest. He could have sold me on having front end work or God-knows-what - but he didnt.I also saw him speaking with other customers while I was waiting and I saw that the same level of integrity, follow-up and making things right was how he handled everyone.Cant recommend Jeff and his crew highly enough.

The owner, and service manager, were extremely helpful in providing good information, and are clearly masters of the trade. They will answer any question and tackle any issue regardless of how complicated or difficult. They did an outstanding job with a complex and unfortunate situation with my Volkswagen, and were reasonably priced.

Brought in my 68 Mustang to install a speedometer cable and temperature gauge that I had already purchased. Got a call the next day that my starter solenoid had shorted, fried, and needed to be replaced. They then proceeded to play it off like somehow they hadnt shorted it while wiring the gauge, and then they actually had the nerve to charge me for the solenoid and the labor to replace it. They then broke the speedometer cable I provided and had to order another one. A 3 hour job turned into 3 weeks and cost me 500$, and in the end neither the gauge nor the speedometer worked. I had to spend another 360$ to fix the electrical because they had botched it so bad the car wouldnt even start.

Weve purchased 2 cars from Jeff and he does the work on all of our vehicles. I highly recommend Avery Automotive!

Worst service ever. Took in a early model BMW for idle problems. Avery replaces the exaust manifold gasket for about $500 bucks. Car idles fine until we get home and it overheats. Tow it back, they suggest we replace radiator hoses and thermostat. We do for $400. Car runs fine for a week. Suddenly a coolant leak. Take the car to my old repair service (Johns Foreign Car Service). He tells me the thermostat will not open, the cover to the thermostat has only three of the four bolts in place and one of the remaining three was lose. John replaces the thermostat, gasket and bolts for $100. A week later we find out the idle control valve bracket that holds it in place is missing. When Avery did the manifold gasket replacement they neglected to replace the bracket. Now the idle control valve is free hanging nad the hoses disconnect with normal driving. who did Avery have working on the car...Stevie Wonder... WORST PLACE EVER. Nice guys though. Real nice.
