Avila Valley Barn is one of my favorite places in the area. It has something for everyone - a petting zoo, a produce and specialty food store, gift shop, homemade goodies, food, ice cream, candy, and the best holiday events. Right now is Fall season with many different kinds of pumpkins, hay rides, a hay maze and more. FREE admission and great parking! I highly recommend it, especially for families.

This is an absolutely fantastic, memorable place to bring your family. From feeding tiny lamas lettuce to petting potbelly pig bellies, youll be sure not to forget Avila Valley Barn. Enjoy picking some raspberries right from the bush by the carton or picking your own bright, seasonal flowers for $1 a piece. The best part? General admission is free of charge! Dress to impress because the photo ops are a plenty here.

Such a fun cute family friendly place toGo to. If you like local produce, feeding barn animals, hay mazes, and such this is for you. It’s interactive and spacious. Surprisingly clean. Kids love the animals but if your little one is scared of them I suggest not allowing them to be too close to them. People here were friendly and wore masks inside as required indoor. You can feed the animals with lettuce which is 3$. We were able to find parking as they have their own lot and there are restrooms available.

Perfect place to get you in the mood for fall! They have huge piles of pumpkins everywhere, and we took some cute pics in the hay maze and pumpkin patch. We also picked apples and got a close up view of a hawk! We bought a cherry pie and it was good, not too sweet with lots of juicy cherries. The plums are really good right now too.

Great stop for kids. Great chance for kids to feed and pet some goats, cows, pigs, and lamas. Its a solid 45min activity, but not much beyond and hour or two. It has free admission. You can choose to buy romaine to feed the animals for 3$. They also have some really great boutique/gift shops with local treats.

Cutest, quaint, farm/pumpkin patch Ive ever seen! We stopped here whole staying at the near by KOA for something to do to pass the time in the morning and I was SO SURPRISED by all it had to offer. There are you pick flowers, raspberries, and tomatoes (I probably missed more,) so many photo opportunities, a hay ride, hay maze, and climbing hay stacks, the cutest little fruit stand, and even a deli to order sandwiches. Theres a large variety of pumpkin species to choose from and animals to feed lettuce to for only $3 a head. We were able to feed every animal a couple of leaves each and had some left to toss up to Rooftop Ralph who became our favorite animal there. We cant wait to visit again next year!

I went on my birthday, a Monday. I didnt expect it to be so crowded. With so many unmasked - and it being my first nonessential foray during the pandemic - that made me a bit uncomfortable even though its mostly outdoors. The petting farm is fun. You can feed the animals - goats, alpaca (my friend), cows, miniature ponies, pigs and more. There is even an ostrich who stayed in the back. Theres a nice local produce area where I bought local honey, which I hope will help my new grass allergies.

My husband and I have watched this place grow from a small fruit stand (about 30 years ago) to a bustling family recreation center complete with tri-tip sandwiches, ice cream, grilled artichokes and BERRY TARTS! So fun to watch little kids feeding lettuce to the goats, cows, and pony. The gift shop has the funniest signs and other darling decor and gifts. In the spring and summer they have pony and hay rides. Just down the road is Avila Beach and Sycamore Springs Resort (a hot tub on every patio). This area is my favorite place on earth.
