I recently took in my late moms wedding ring to have it redesigned so I could wear it as my engagement ring. I had no idea what style I wanted, but Matt showed me a lot of different possibilities until I finally settled on what I wanted. He sent me renderings within a day or so and I gave the go ahead. I had a new ring on my finger within the next 3 weeks! Im so proud to have this ring on my finger and think of my mom every time I look down. Both Matts at Baxter Moerman are amazing, kind, knowledgeable and very talented individuals. I had my mothers original engagement ring diamond set into a beautiful necklace and the value, quality, and attention to detail is unsurpassed! I have also been browsing for an engagement ring for about a year now, and have spent literal days ( if you tally the hours) in their store. They always make me feel welcome, are always helpful, and as a person who pays very close attention to small details professionally ( dental hygienist who wears loupes) I have not found ANY other place that has this good of quality and value! I love how they use recycled gold and ethically sourced diamonds and gemstones. Its also super rad that they create everything in their showroom. They do not simply buy settings and stones and mix and match. They offer a level of customization that is wicked cool. Love these guys, and all who work there!

Nice high end custom jewelry. They do very artistic work. Prices are fair & the stones are of excellent quality. Friendly service. They immediately recognized that I was sporting a fine star ruby on my hand...so they do know their stuff. The star sapphire that they had on display was of high quality. They had mostly womens settings but could do either.

The guys behind Baxter Moerman are not only extremely talented but super cool humans. They were so interested in our story and lives that we knew immediately they were the ones to craft a ring out of some family stones. I went to a lot of other jewelers in town and it wasnt that way AT ALL. They set themselves apart in the most genuine, authentic way. And to top it all off, the rings were absolutely amazing.

My fiance and I cannot thank the Matts at Baxter Moerman enough! My fiance worked with Matt Moerman to design a custom engagement ring and I absolutely LOVE IT! We loved their nature-inspired designs, knew what cut of diamond and that we wanted it to be rose gold but thats it... from there Matt crafted a beautiful ring that well cherish forever. My fiance said the process was absolutely seamless and that Matt was a big help to him along the way, easy to work with and very educational during the diamond decision process. Matt and Matt do great work at affordable prices. Custom or pre made works. Matt custom made my wifes engagement ring from a picture of a 1920s vintage ring that I could not afford and it turned out perfect and with in my budget. My family has continued to purchase hand crafted jewelry from them and would never buy anything else where. I recommend them to all my friends and they are never disappointed with Matts work!

Best jewelry store on the Central Coast. Both Matthews are extremely professional, personable and make you feel right at home in this beautiful shop. I give them an A+. If you are in San Luis Obispo, you must go and check this shop out.
