My favorite grocery store with everything I love at fair prices, but more importantly, everything is well stocked and organized correctly so you can find everything easily.This specified store was beautiful and the cashiers at checkout were super nice.As a side note, the restrooms are super clean and always available,.which is important for people like me that live & travel full-time in a camper Van (mini-RV).

Jessica, Cassandra and the guy in the early morning who checks (I think he also works frozen) are some of the sweetest people you’ll ever encounter. Always cheerful and personable. The Meat guys are extremely helpful when they’re on the floor, even if you’re shopping in the grocery department.Unfortunately, the majority of the rest of the crew doesn’t even respond to a hello, or they’re texting while ringing you up, or so consumed with they’re working that they’re running you out of the way.If you’re walking any distance with your groceries, be sure to ask for an extra bag or two. Because they’re determined to throw it all in one bag that can’t support the weight.If you’re lucky enough to get one of the three above, you’ll have a great experience. Otherwise, they’re most likely out of what you’re looking for anyway.

I enjoy the products here a lot, but there is a really bad stench right as you walk in that is pretty unbearable.

Shopped here today. Too often I see meat that is brown and should not be on the shelf. Jay checked us out and we had to bag our own groceries as he pushed them towards me. I felt like he was not interested in his job or helping us. There are so many people who would love to have that job.

They have good prices and are close to Cal Polys campus. I would definitely recommend this grocery store to any students at Cal Poly since its only a short trip on the bus. The workers are very nice and helpful if you need to find something.

I am a Smart & Final shopper and prefer shopping here but lately they introduced a new billing system which is very confusing to read/understand from the receipt. Hope they restore it back to the previous one.

If you have a favorite grocery store and its not Smart & Final then Smart & Final should probably be the second store you go to when you dont go to your favorite. This is because Smart & Final has items both unique and in unique sizes the other shops dont carry.Layout is similar to normal grocery stores with all this same features except that Smart & Final has big quantities, unique house brands, and other business-oriented selections not found elsewhere.

The video tells all of your stores operation. disgraceful while another employee is yelling get out in the back ground. You can thank your employee for what you will see by tomorrow. Make sure he is not in the store when 300 Patriots show up with no mask to peacefully browse around. Smart and Final is a go to for many staples in our house. It is usually the cheapest prices on standard foods that generally come in larger packaging. The store caters towards restaurants but lets all enjoy the great prices. However, what you gain in great prices you sacrifice in selection.

I have to applaud the employees for doing the right thing in the face of adversity and ignorance. Theyre putting their safety on the line every day they come into work and it should be lauded that they are doing what they can to keep the safety of customers and colleagues paramount. Especially when confronted with difficult situations.I know where Ill be shopping the next time Im in SLO!

Please carry Norwegian geitjost aged cheddar called Snow Queen goat cheese and goats milk for people with cow milk allergies. You used to have it, its delish with Pickled herring. If you are trying to be careful during the covid pandemic, Smart & Final has staff wearing masks and have set up a good checkout system. Love the larger sizes and best prices on meat that isnt on sale.

This location has a great staff and inventory. The Store Manager Brian and Assistant Manger Josh are always friendly and available to assist. The lines move pretty quick and the Clerks always have a smile. I always enjoy shopping here after work on my way home. Great selection of bulk items and no membership needed to get through the door.

I’ve been here a couple of times and the employees are so pretentious and rude. The assistant manager is the WORST. I asked him for help finding a product and he yelled at me. Never shopping at that particular again. I prefer the Arroyo Grande store, as the staff is much friendlier and they are always genuinely happy to be there.

Smart & Final just remodeled this place and it is called Smart & Final Extra. It is a very fancy supermarket full of everything you could dream of combined with some bulk products like Smart & Final is normally known for. They have loads of people to help you and it is very clean and brand new. There is also two aisles of bulk bins with grains and cereal and things like that. I am very thankful that Smart & Final has opened this new store in 2016! The parking is pretty tight so if you have a giant truck be patient and park out in the boonies.

Very service oriented employees. I called them on a mobile phone to ask if the store carried block ice. The man who answered had trouble understanding me on the phone, and gave me an email address so he could answer my questions.Yes, they do carry block ice, and it was cheaper by far than any of the other stores Id been to.Five stars for service, prices and availability.

Very good sale prices on most items, especially produce and above average regular prices. Heed the slogan box store prices, whenever you buy in bulk there is usually a minimum of 10 percent savings. They over rang a beer purchase and would not issue a refund for difference stating it against the law once I leave the store to do so which is news to me. So buyer beware, always check your receipt before exiting!

Store is too small, cramped, and hard to negotiate isles if someone is coming in the other direction. I actually drive to the one in Paso Robles so as not to have a negative experience.

Poor customer service and management was hostile toward customers as we stood there in line. Overall sad.

The lady checker was rude. The 14 year old manager threatened to call the police when I questioned the worth of my recycling. They just walked off with my cans and assumed the price. They need control of themselves alright, but the police wont help! They also took my reusable bag that I wanted to keep!

Kinda pricey comparatively to other grocery stores. Id honestly prefer to drive across town to grocery outlet (🎶bargain market 🎶) even though this store is within walking distance of my place. Works in a pinch.

Reasonable prices. Not a full service market but has what I need. Full supply of party goods.

Store is quite dirty and makes me uncomfortable to shop. There are a lot of rotten pieces of fruit and vegetables mixed in, so be very careful to select only the acceptable pieces. Check expiration dates carefully also. Milk products are sometimes turned. I shop here only for an emergency item or two because its close.

Long slow lines everytime, multiple empty checkout stands at rush hour and it never improves. I wish it was better as it is my closest store.

I always love shopping at S & F. This is a new store opened in an old grocery store. Its huge. The staff was your typical food store chain folks. Not really interested in the customers, but they get the job done. I went there to shop for a Community dinner and found all I needed in one simple shopping trip.

Theyre the only grocery store in this neighborhood. The prices are cheap and they have good produce. Their prices are better than any of the big grocery stores in town and you can get bulk goods.

The staff/cashiers at this store are just ok! Cant say theres a favorite or anyone really awesome.

The staff here all seem dead inside. No one is friendly and they just go about their day. There are never enough cashiers. There are never any baskets at the front and Im always looking around to find one. Prices are decent.

Lots more section that our S & F in Carlsbad. Always great prices. Open Thanksgiving too, so bonus for last-minute items.

Beautiful store with an ease to parking rarely found in SLO anymore. Great selection for every kind of diet. Average sushi counter. Not the place to shop on a fixed budget though - quite pricey.

Pretty unacceptable effort at social distancing. Theres no limit on number of people in the store, the line setup results in a lot of people being very close, and the employees seem to have a negligent attitude.

Staff are consistently rude and put out if you ask for help. Meat department has smelled like rotten meat on more than one occasion. When I brought it to their attention they argued with me and told me I as wrong - I work in a commercial kitchen & know what spoiled meat smells like! Dairy department has smelled spoiled on more than one occasion. If I have to pick something up here I make sure its only canned items. Go to the Arroyo Grande store - they get 5 stars!! The store is clean, well stocked, and the manager, Matt, always makes sure the customers are helped and treated well.

Quick stop at SLO Smart & Final for sale on fresh blueberries. Usually shop at the one in Arroyo Grande, and already had gotten blueberries this morning there. But decided to get more after an appt in SLO. Good deal.

They have a great supply of bulk goods, like nuts, candy and snacks. The rotisserie chicken is really good.
