I was really happy to find this place! I have a high end slag glass lamp with a deco frame holding the glass in place. Its quite old and a few of the welds had come apart from moving it over the years. One of the smaller panels of glass had broken. I tried to glue it (DONT). I realized I needed more help from an expert. I looked online - BINGO! Jack and Chris are amazing! Im really glad they were not that far away. The shop is small and tucked away. They close at 3:00. Really nice guys and very honest + fair in the pricing. Thanks for fixing my beautiful lamp!
Found the place....quaint, old fashioned with a fine elderly gentleman providing the part I needed. $2 and Im out the door! Thanks!!
Jack Farris is waning on the professional aspects of his business. First, it is unprofessional that he keeps repair items for as long as 5 weeks; if you call to ask about it, he is rude and intimidating. His response is, I have repairs here from 4 months ago; Ill get to your repair when I get to it. Secondly, he overcharges for his work. What should take an electrical professional an hour takes him two. Be aware that he charges $50 per hour for his rate of work. Finally, he lacks a considerate tone with customers; he is is rude and gruff. I regretted asking any questions about my repair job. Be aware before you choose his services. I wish I had read an accurate review before I chose Farris Lighting.
Cant wait til I have another lamp to take in for repair. Jack is a local treasure and his work is perfect
