Really large and fresh produce section! Open all the time. Has a Starbucks, a deli inside, and pharmacy. Good amount of items in kosher and Asian food section. Lots of people in check out lanes usually. Self checkout also pretty full.

Good selection of pre-made deli items for picnic or game day. Well-stocked. Easy check out.

This is a great store, lots of food options, much better than other Safeways in the surrounding cities.

Wanted to order 4 sandwiches at the deli counter. Waited 20 minutes. 2 workers were behind the counter said someone was coming to help us. Finally I had to chase down the store manager. I told her the problem. She walked away. No apology, no I will get someone, no discount for our trouble. Nothing. Eventually a worker showed up and made our food. By then there were 7 people in line for sandwiches. All employees including the manager acted like I was putting them out by asking for service. I have also tried to order sandwiches from here on Door Dash only to wait and have my order cancelled since nobody could fill my order. Just moved to San Ramon from Concord. Concord and Clayton stores have excellent service and delicious deli sandwiches.

This is one if the best Safeways to visit. The employees are great.

You have to bag your own groceries. Raleys bags my groceries and will take my groceries out to my car.

Lived in the area my entire life, and this place has always been the go-to. Good selection of goods and a friendly staff. Only major issue is the people asking for money at the exits. Theyre there every other time I shop here. Id rather not have to avoid eye contact with these strangers—Id rather just get what I need and leave. It should be illegal, honestly.

Always has what I need. Good deals too. I save on gas. Touchless pay and membership card. Decent sushi.

My favorite destination for quick shopping,this Safeway is good,staff are nice and helpful,good prices for the club members(to have Safeway card),just the bathroom need Maintines and not clean all the time.

I dont particularly care for the deli. They are slow and often nobody is there to serve. And then they so a poor job of placing the meats and cheese in the plastic bag. Sprouts does a much better job.

Pretty easy to get in and out. Self checkout was fast. Lines at the 5 other checkers. Prices much higher than our Walmart Neighborhood Grocery store.

As someone who has lived here for 11+ years i am very disspaointed everytime that the very large sub sandwhich is not 6ft long instead of 1-2ft untill theres options for a 6ft, 12ft and 18ft sandwich i am never shopping at WholeTraderSafeJoes ever

Just about some party balloons and a card. Always great produce although not the cheapest of course. If you want cheap you go to sprouts or Walmart grocery or one of those. If you want kind of top-notch selection and quality go to safeway.

The Fruits Vegetables Breads Fish Meats Cheese Deli Counter seem to have Fresher items AND the Store Employees are very helpful. This SAFEWAY has a Great helpful Rx that closes at 5 pm on the weekends. Thats my only complaint that the RX needs longer hours

Curbside pickup game is strong for this Safeway. Service is great, but careful with ordering produce. Had to take away a star for the low quality produce picked for curbside orders. Hate paying good money for organic fruits and veggies that have to be trashed.

Well stocked with water, quick service. But had forgotten a pen set in cart when I went to retrieve it, did not find it, did not want to create a scene on New Years Day.

Prices are higher than Trader Joes and Sprouts but they do have many items that neither TJs or Sprouts has. I buy the Safeway brand creamer Belgian toffee which is my favorite creamer. If you must buy here, buy on sale only.

Usually very busy, and even the express lanes are slow. Even when the lines are short, they move slowly. Its hard to find an employee. However, it has a simple layout, easy to read signs, and is always clean and neat. The shelves are usually well stocked and have plenty of brands and options. Not the place to go if you want cheap prices, but if you just need a few things, its good for that.

Really good Chicken and beef pot pies. Wait for them to be on sale at just $5, each. Buy multiples and freeze them. They thaw and reheat well in toaster oven.

Good for shopping, especially not you have club card, otherwise too expensive.

There was only one person behind me in line yet the cashier insisted on placing the chips at the back of my order in the cart before the heavy items like milk and juice. I took the chips out and then put the chips back in on top of the heavy items. I wasnt in the Express line so what was the rush.

Great parking. Great selection. Store is clean. Hightest prices I have ever paid at a grocery store. Gentlemen at the flower section was very nice. Checker was friendly. However, you had to wait in line FOREVER to get checked out. Why have so many checkouts of you are not going to staff them.

Big, clean, spacious. This Safeway is not like your ordinary, run of the mill Safeway. This is an upscale Safeway. It has a dry-aged beef case (cuts of beef are hanging in the display case) next to their butcher counter area. This place also has a cool large Bulk Foods area, over 350 items to choose from, in back of the extra large Fresh Produce area. It also has a bulk olive oil bar. Safeway can clearly compete with Whole Foods and Sprouts Bulk Food Departments. I was pleasantly surprised that this Safeway has high quality and flavored bulk tea for sale, in particular Green Tea. The pharmacy is in the front of the store and their personal care area is laid out as if its a mini drugstore. Staff is friendly.

This store is always clean and generally the employees are very nice, helpful and seem to like being where they are...today was an exception to that with my first experience with a rude, lazy, irritable female employee. However, I wont the one outweigh the rest. It is also very handy that they are open 24hours!

Great store.BEWARED - do not come between 1630-1745 ish. They usually have 3 lanes open and about 15+ people per lane waiting. Only reason they get 4 stars is they have just about anything you want or need.

Online, it says 24 hours. When I called, the automatic service says they are 24 hours. When we showed up, everyone looked at us like we were crazy for showing up to shop at 1am to a 24 hour location. Its ridiculous. Update the system and reflect the actual hours of the store.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Safeway since the 1960s.

There is a Starbucks inside the store, though the service can be slow doing peak morning hours. Additional items include bulk bins in the back of the produce section. They offer aged beef at the meat counter. No pharmacy at this location.

Nice store, but why cant they maintain the restrooms? I hope that the butcher shop and bakery are alot more sanitary.
