We were on our way through and a bit of divine Providence brought us to this oasis for a bit of respite. We only had time for a potty break & to grab lunch to go but we enjoyed the vibe of the place while we waited on our lunch order. The Bibles on the tables along with verses and the prayer wall made us feel right at home. We added our prayers and talked with our kids about what “seeds to be sewn” means to. Christian. The lunch and coffee were delicious and we were blessed by our stop. Will definitely come back next time we are in Sandpoint! 🙏🏻❤️☕️

Kokanee is a blessing in our community. Not only is the coffee and food amazing, they have great fellowship opportunities there. Groups meet for Bible studies, they host coffee with Vets monthly, coffee and prayer on certain Saturdays are hosted in the parking lot, and theyre not afraid to show their love of the Lord which in these times, that is a blessing. If you have an opportunity to stop in, do not pass it by! Kelly, Eric and the rest of the staff are all wonderful.

First and foremost, absolutely amazing owner and employees. So helpful, so sweet, and so kind. Helped her with everything I needed.The coffee, so so yummy…I haven’t had a more perfect taste and the pumpkin scone, oh my!!I just bought the Roman Nose coffee because we literally just did that hike and I am so looking forward to tasting it!!Definitely recommend!

I absolutely love this coffee shop. For one, it is so nice to have the beautiful messages about God. The decor is so cute. Very unique. I kept taking pictures just so I can remember the beauty of the atmosphere. The customer service is hands down 5 stars.Lets talk about the coffee. I enjoyed the cappuccino. I preferred black coffee. You can taste more of the local roast and enjoy the flavors more.Next Food! My son got the croissant with ham and egg. It was delicious. The croissant was perfect. Love the flakiness. My husband got the breakfast burrito and it was mighty tasty. The sausage was really good. I got the egg scramble with sausage light cheese. It was really good and healthy. I like the salsa. The best was the pull apart muffin. Oh my goodness. My son and I were fighting for the last bite. Lol. It was the best. I would recommend saving room for it to share.We will be back. Its sad to see anyone posting a negative review just because they feel masks should be forced on everyone. They have a choice, go somewhere else. Kokanee does a good job of trying to protect its patrons through other methods.With that said, my wife, son (10) and I are visiting from atlanta. We always try new local breakfast shops and this was a gem. Kelly (owner) is a DOLL. She was warm hearted and super friendly. The staff cooks all the food fresh every day and its delicious.My son ordered a croissant with ham and egg. Hes our harshest critic and he loved it. My wife went with scrambled eggs loaded with veggies...another good choice. I personally feel I came out the winner with the breakfast burrito and homemade salsa...sooo yummy.Lastly, we finished it all with a pastry, the pull apart. Covered in cinnamon and butter, this was a piece of heaven.Id be remiss if I didnt mention the coffee. After all, thats why we came :-)My wife and I each enjoyed a cup of coffee and a cappuccino each. Home roasted beans, kokanee is a light tasting, very nice brew. The cappuccino was flavorful and enjoyable. We will definitely be back.

The coffee is amazing! We vacationed near Sandpoint and stopped by a couple times. Some of the best coffee I have had. They also have food and we ordered breakfast one day. We all enjoyed that as well. If we do another road trip out here, I will definitely be stopping by again.

The recommended Chai with freshly ground blond roast was very delicious and fragrant with fall spices. Plus, theres finally a coffee shop with more keto friendly food options. The scramble with all three meats, spinach and tomatoes was truly eggcellent.

We were looking for a local roaster coffee shop yesterday to get drip coffee. We were very surprised the staff nor anyone in the cafe wore masks! The cafe was full of groups of people, no social distancing, and one or two singles. The coffee was comparable to our french pressed Petes we had earlier in the morning, nice and HOT. I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon, spinach, salsa cheddar and lots of scrambled eggs. No special taste, but was very satisfyingly filling.. The girls behind the counter and cooking were very sweet.Just no masks to be seen, unsettling.

What an awesome spot. We were greeted by such friendly staff, who were eager to help us navigate the menu and order. Food was fresh, homemade and delicious. As we were enjoying our lunch, the workers were busy cleaning, wiping down tables, and checked in on us twice to make sure we were enjoying our selections. We had such a great experience, we went back the next day to get some of their roasted coffee, and another coffee for our drive home.

Awesome place to sit and enjoy coffee. The iron artwork is fab to look at and the customer service is terrific. The barista brought my coffee out to my table! The owner is very friendly and so helpful! A very comfortable and welcoming place to hang out.

Went here on 10/10/2020. This place was so clean and service was great. Sat in there and talked with a few friends and when I was there the workers were constantly wiping down tables, door handles, counters etc. I felt comfortable and happily greeted by the staff. Would definitely recommend their soups and kickers! Everything i have tried from there was made fresh and tasted great!

During my stay, I was drawn in by the delicate spiced chai, heartwarming bonfire chai, sassy pumpkin chai, and starry-eyed eggnog chai. Im not much for coffee myself, but their secretively seductive Verona won an award and brings loyal customers drooling for their daily dose. The atmosphere is cozy and kept me lounging for hours. Their goodies are made fresh and add a spark of playfulness to the robust aroma of slow-roasting coffee beans. Tantalizing to the senses and healing to the soul, Kokanee Coffee is great for a focused study, spirit-lifting hangout, or grab-and-go pick-me-up. Well? Why are you still here? Go give em a taste for yourself!

My wife and I went for a late breakfast today. Scramble eggs with sausage and cheese and spinach. With two large lattes. Delicious. Great service. Good prices. The most friendly, spiritual people. This Country needs more of this mindset in carrying for each other. God Bless them.

This is a great place too! We got coffee & Pull-Aparts! This pastry is a mix between soft cake & cinnamon roll. Tons of cinnamon & sugar in every bite. Really Yummy 😋! Really beautiful & sweet girls to serve ya too!

First off the barista was very welcoming and genuinely friendly. The latte and chai tea was the best weve had in a while and the homemade cookie was tops.

Super disappointing experience. As a coffee shop I was very surprised that their espresso isnt freshly made. I watched the barista pull out a pitcher of coffee and mix it with milk for our iced lattes. And my sisters was mainly milk so we had to go back and ask for more. It tasted really bad and old. Most of our food and pastries were dry and sad. Additionally I was shocked that the people making everyones food and coffee werent wearing masks. As a covid ICU nurse I take this very seriously and it is the responsibility of the business to protect its patrons. I would recommend a drive through coffee stand over this place.

I eat here all the time and love it.The staff is very friendly and willing to meet any requests (top tip--ask for jalapenos in your breakfast burrito!). Its been a fantastic place to go during this time of paranoia and over-reaction.

I visited here on Friday 10/9/20 while visiting with family. You would think there wasnt a global pandemic going on right now, with a local covid-19 outbreak happening one county south of here. Not one member of staff was wearing a face mask or wearing gloves while preparing food and drinks; I did not observe regular handwashing; no doors or windows were propped open to allow for extra ventilation; no hand sanitizer available anywhere; no social distancing guides or mask requirements; no postings of any kind about covid-19; other guests were hanging out without masks, chatting away like 211,000 Americans havent died in the last few months from an incredibly infectious virus that transmits through the air, and thus is very easily transmissible in a tight, closed environment such as this. Needless to say, I did not purchase anything here. I was only here because I was tagging along with family, and being present in a place like this was extremely alarming and uncomfortable given the complete lack of attention to everyones health and safety.

We just stopped here for soup... I know, I know, but sometimes the coffee shops have the best coffee!!! And this place did not disappoint!The made-from-scratch Cheesy Broccoli was simply divine! There were large chunks of broccoli, little buts of carrot and onion, and the cheesy base was full of flavor!Try it! You wont regret it!

I LOVE this place. I feel like nearly every person who walks in the doors sees someone that they know. It is as full of hugs and handshakes as it is the smell of fresh cookies and exceptional coffee. Kokanee Coffee is one of our favorite places to visit while in town. The atmosphere is fun and comfortable. The coffee is organic and locally roasted. The staff is always friendly and the owner/operator, Angela is often there to greet you herself. Every Saturday, the coffee goes on sale, making it easy to stalk your pantry at home. We use Kokanee Coffee in our B&B and our guests really enjoy it too. There is also food available including gluten-free options. Good coffee!
