The Cinnamon Roll is soooo soft. The flavor is just right! Very Customer Friendly. Knowledgeable about her products. Then coffee sounds delicious. I cant wait to have a cup.

Coffee was fine and the ambience is nice but the older woman running the place could definitely work on her diplomacy and friendliness. Apparently my card did not go through but she gave me my coffee and I thought the transaction was complete. Came chasing me down outside yelling at me saying, ”you never paid for your coffee!”. Would have appreciated a polite approach like, excuse me ma’am but your card didn’t seem to go through. geezzz 🙄

Friendly coffee shop. I did not prefer the cappuccino. Coffee was good and liked the breakfast burrito. I am giving 4 stars due to the lady working there.

First time trying and wish I knew about this place sooner! Got a medium sized Mayan Mocha with soy milk and an added shot. I don’t like very sweet drinks, and this is my new favorite drink! Not too sweet but with good flavor.

I love the atmosphere it is so welcoming. The coffee is spendy but it is very good. The individual behind the counter working “Stormy” is just absolutely sweet, very customer service oriented and meant to be here. I will absolutely come back here.

I went in to Monarch Mountain Coffee today and had a great conversation and wonderful service and awesome experience! Cricket was there cleaning and making the store sparkle. I had a cold brew coffee with Lavendar and Huckleberries! YUM! MUCHO YUM! I want to add that the coffee is organic and roasted in house. I absolutely loved it! Here is a pic of Cricket! Who I have to say is a REAL CREDIT to the company!

First - INCREDIBLE coffee. Why would anyone go across the street to that chain when this is nestled here? Second - AMAZING service. The barista took great care on making sure we got coffee that was an experience, not just getting us in and out. She then proceeded to make sure we were having a great time in Sandpoint and provided additional information on where to find out whats happening in the area. LOVED it!

Pretty expensive... I always get a 16oz white coffee latte with hemp milk and syrup . I’ve never paid more then 5.50$ for a drink and it was 7.50! I get coffee at numerous places around the area for years and never paid so much and had bad service..

For any new or existing employee in the Sandpoint area who wants to learn and observe exceptional customer service Cricket provides free lessons every time she is behind the counter. Her customer service skill set ranks a 10 out of 10 in my opinion. Observe and learn is my advice.

Friendly baristas. My partner & I came in because we saw they had Lotus energy drinks on their menu. We both ended up getting white peach & a splash of lemonade in them. Perfect for what we were looking for. 🙂

EXCELLENT coffee. Both in-house and at-home-- if you havent picked up a bag of their air-roasted coffee beans I cant recommend it enough! Monarch is a great place to fuel up or kick back and relax.

Good coffee, friendly barista. The barista made sure the latte was made to a perfect temperature and also recommended a few spots to check out in and around Sandpoint as visitors.

I tried the Sunrise blend and Loved it! They roast their own beans, follow Specialty Coffee Association guidelines for brewing and made the place comfortable to sit for a while. Id go back again if I lived here!

My all time favorite place to get coffee before church on Sundays❤ The lady that works on Sundays is the sweetest lady ever! She turns frowns into smiles!

Best little coffee shop in sandpoint, love that they roast their own organic coffee, also the most clean barista practice i’ve ever seen at a coffee stand. Would highly recommend.

Decaf Mocha was delicious. But the Cappuccino was Not decaf after requesting & trying to emphasize the importance with heart condition as the concern. Definitely was Not Decaf. Several occasions personality lacking on 2 different counter persons. At least at Starbucks u get a smile & good morning. They need to beef up their customer relations to make u want to go back.

Hipster infestation!This used to be a really nice place; it was eclectic, kind of hippie, great coffee, locally-owned with a great local feel. Now when I go in there its like a bunch of inner-city transplants have taken over and are trying to recreate the essence of Sandpoint from the perspective of hipster poseurs.If you ask the crowd in there, Im sure theyd all tell you how its the coolest place in town...all the more reason to head somewhere the clientele is humble, down-to-earth, and welcoming.

Friendly service, relaxing atmosphere, convenient location. Breakfast items are limited for dairy free individuals but otherwise no complaints.

Very nice little coffee shop with live performances here and there throughout the week. Great place to relax with a laptop or a good book, as long as you dont mind paying $5 for a gosh darn coffee. (Cute baristas though)

Years I have lived in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho discovering the hidden gems comprising the Pacific Northwest - Monarch Coffee is such a find. The ambiance, staff and design make this location a part of my daily habit.

Absolutely fabulous coffee

I was disappointed, the espresso in my iced latte was not freshly brewed, rather it came from a hand pump on the counter, which gave it a noticably odd flavor. Oh well

Im a sucker for places like this; everything just exclaims friendliness. The coffee is always great but the staff is definitely my favorite thing, not only are they friendly, they are very laid back and always make you feel welcome.
