Had to get my brakes and calipers replaced. Not from the area so was a bit nervous but Absolutely amazing service and phenomenal pricing here. Did qualify work on my car and were upfront about everything they saw, and did not make up stuff to get more money out of me. Would highly recommend to anyone and also will definitely be coming back here next time I need work done.

Traveling from Florida I had my oil and tire rotation done here. The mechanic said my rear brakes where so bad I wouldnt make it home. I had inspected prior to leaving.I returned home to see that this place tried to rob me. To lie and say such a thing is unforgivable. My rear brakes are in excellent shape. Ive got pics of the pads the liar told me where almost gone....go some where else or risk being robbed. Sent me a Email wanting to discuss my review.....Lady was rude and told me I dint ask you to call me!!!! So beware theres more places who arent scammers.

I am from out of town and was very nervous about using a auto service I was not familiar with but they were so great and fixed all the things I was having issues with. I also appreciated that they did it all quickly and I was able to get my car back within a few hours.

Very loud exhaust issue occured late this afternoon and was so happy they squeezed me in..Even happier to find out I only needed a spring bolt kit..as bolts had rusted off.Friendly/honest service with integrity. Truly made my day!

I called on a Saturday, and made an appointment for an oil change and new tires for the very next day. I was greeted in the lobby with friendliness. Devon gives off good vibes, while remaining professional and efficient. I dropped my car off. He contacted me, as he said he would regarding a free brake inspection that I also requested. All good. Pick up car and it drives smooth as new! Now the reason for this review. Today, Im kinda checking out my tire tread to remember how bald my old tires were and I notice the whole floppy thing under the front of my car is fixed!! I know it probably wasnt a big deal for someone to snap or clip it back on..but the point is..They actually did it! Shout out to the whole crew at Monro!!

No service for damaged tires even after I got a quote for a repair. They told me my tires were bald, I could clearly see they were not. But for $550 they can fix my slow leak at the stem with new tires.

Left my van there on Saturday for a 2:00 oil change and tire alignment appointment. Did not receive a phone call letting me know it was done. Left a message for them to call me back.....never returned the call. Drove there to find my van in parking lot UNLOCKED! Took my van home with my spare keys because my wife needed it and they were closed on Sunday. Monday afternoon I went there to get the keys and explained angrily my case. I was told not to get mad accidents happen. Told manager I was never coming back and he told me not to.

Was driving from Chicago to Virginia and my tire went flat. Got it towed to Tire Choice because we had no spare. Devon, the manager, was super helpful and made sure we got on way quickly after bringing it in. Wish we were local so we could refer more business to them, but this google review will have to do.

Seems to be something else wrong with my car everytime I leave. Will NEVER return. Guy working on the cars seems to move slow. Its 10 min, 15 max for a oil change. Why does it take him a hour? Bad service

Thanks Tirechoice for saving me over 1500 dollars! Went to 3 different shops because my exhaust was loud. Was quoted 2200-3000 dollars at each place. The manager Devon informed me that they would be able to replace one section and fix another since they specialize in exhaust and are also able to bend them. All quiet with a warranty for 600! Outstanding customer service!! My family was visiting sandusky from out of town and my sisters tire popped. We visited 4 different tire shops near our resort and none had the size needed. Luckily, I tried 1 last stitch and called Tire choice. They confirmed their wearhouse had the size needed and was ready to pick it up in 15 minutes! We got our tire put on the rim at a very fair price, and were able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. We are so grateful for the superb service we received!

I dropped off my van for an oil change Saturday at 2:00 and they were supposed to call when it was done. Never recieved a call and when I called them at 5:30 they were closed. I left a voice mail. I took my spare key and went and picked my van up because i obviously needed it. When i get there the van was left in the parking lot completely unlocked! All day Sunday and Monday we still never heard from the business, not even a response to my voicemail. For all they knew my van had been stolen. When my husband stopped by after work Monday to pick up the key they were defensive and not apologetic at all. The man threw the keys on the counter and had the nerve to tell my husband not to come back again! Terrible customer service and we will never return and make sure no one we know does either.

Stopped in with a tire going flat with a hour left until home. Had to park in the grass since they were so busy, even though they had nowhere to put my car the manager sent a guy to fix my tire in the parking lot! Tipped them 100$ because they were fast and very helpful! Thanks Monro!

What can I say. Wow. Just wow. These guys did everything they could to save my hide. My car experienced a mechanical failure while driving. I called Monro, on a Saturday afternoon mind you, and the gentleman who answered the phone guided me through my failure and said he would stay open past close to try and help me.I luckily made it to the shop. My serpentine belt was destroyed. They said they would hurry and replace it for me so I could be on my way. Once they got the car on the lift they sadly discovered that my ac compressor experienced a catastrophic failure.They broke the news to me gently.... the compassion I experienced at Monro was a reminder that honest, hardworking, and helpful people still do exist in this world.They gave me multiple options and I was thankful for their kindness and understanding. The repair, since it was an involved long repair, was unable to be done. I had to wait for a ride and they were gracious enough to leave me a chair outside to rest on while I waited. They closed the shop and asked if I needed anything else before they left. I said no thank you and I assured them while I was waiting I would guard the Monro against any vandals with my life.Thank you Monro. 5 stars.

I’d tell any women to go here, I was out of town and had to get work done. Little do they know my husband is a retired technician of 30 years. Everything they said was honest and reasonable. I only talked to the manager Devon, but it was a good experience overall.

On Saturday August 31st 2019@ 7:30am i took my car to Monro Muffler. Ive been going there for 10 years now and I have never been disappointed. Devon greeted me with a warm and friendly smile, explained that they were very busy and could I bring my car back at 10:30 which i did. Within 30minutes he explained to me in great detail what needed to be done and told me when the car would be ready. He called me 30minutes ahead of schedule and I picked my car up. I felt really bad for him and the other mechanic. Just the two of them on such a busy day. Devon is SUPER FANTASTIC and gives GREAT customer service. Thank You Monro Muffler for having such a wonderful employee. I will continue coming for another 10 years.

I had repairs done on my familys vehicles there .And I have to say that Devon and his employees have done excellent work. Great honest people. I usually do my own repairs but I had surgery and couldnt do my own work for awhile. Its nice to find someone you can trust. Ill be back.

I’m from Columbus and was in Sandusky for the day. My van started acting up and found out that I needed an alternator & battery replaced, which is a complicated & lengthy repair. Had towed to Monroe and they were so accommodating and got me right in so I could get home that evening. Friendly and competent staff Thanks guys!!

Ive contacted corporate as well, letting them know the same. Be a business of honestly and integrity and take care of your customers. See my brothers deplorable experience below:A sound was coming from one or all of the wheels after monro auto put four brand new tires on my vehicle 1/11/20. My wife drove the car back same day to inquire about the sound and safety. After two explanations (adhesive from the tire or the possibility of tires being stored in poor conditions,) the mechanic suggested we drive it for a few days and if the sound didnt go away they would honor the warranty. On 1/16 the sound becomes exaggerated. Morning of 1/18 a tire goes completely flat. On 1/19 the establishment would NOT honor the warranty on any of the tires because they found two punctures between the tread ridges. Absolutely no compromises or solutions from the mechanic. I believe this to be a manufacturers defect. As a consumer this is infuriating. My family will never do business with this chain again. The many, many clients I serve at my business will know to never come here.

I love coming here. They always treat me well and they never try to pressure me into anything, especially if Im on a budget. They always try to give me the best price too. The manager Devon is also very knowledgeable and explains things well during the process and if you have other vehicle/maintenance questions.

Ive been to every shop in Sandusky Ohio and Monro is the place I’ll be sending all my friends and family to! The manager Devon is great and doesn’t try to push anything on me. He lets me know what I need and shows me in person the issues I’m having. It’s hard to find a shop to do trustworthy quality work. They also fixed an exhaust for free that another Monro did while I was on vacation. It wasn’t bad but he wasn’t happy with how it was done. Thanks Monro!

I put a 2 star only because I was able to get service right away. I needed a new tire and decided to get all the tires and alignment done. I was told about an hour to hour and half. It took an hour and half just to do the tires because they were not working at a steady pace. At one point, I noticed that nothing was being done, 3 guys in the shop just standing around. One shop technician just walks around and isnt helping out.The technicians do not work at a fast steady pace and seem very slow.

Took my equinox to them to get brakes because the dealer said I needed them bad! Turns out they were fine! I didn’t do any business with them but I appreciate their honesty and not taking advantage of me. I’ll spread the word! Thank you!

Over priced labor & parts for a 10 minute job that only cost $11. They wanted $80 for the part & $320.00 for Labor, just because they thought I was in desperate need because I stayed I Michigan. They thought they had had easy money,but I waited for a real mechanic to drive from Michigan and he didnt nearly charge me as much as these guys. A $400 price dropped down to $75 for one little heater hose & clamp 10 minutes Not an hour like these guys quoted. I will never recommended this place.

Went in to see if couldnt get a quick oil change, thought hey only have 2 cars in bay and 3 guys out there working, should be in and out so I walk in and say that Im in a bit of a hurry was wondering if you could get me in fairly quick?Young heavier gentlemen looks at me and said you can wait your f@$king turn.They werent busy, 2 customers in waiting in waiting area, 2 cars on lift, they didnt look busy at all, I looked at him and said Well I dont have to f@$king wait hereWill never return, aint no reason someone should be shown that kind of hostility over a simple question that was asked without attitude. I understand people have difficulties in life but when you make it to work, you leave your problems at the door.

These guys got my truck fixed after 3 shops including firestone and the dealer couldn’t figure it out. Only took them 15 minutes so they didn’t charge me! Gaurunteed my business back to them, thanks! They even offered to set up a discount rate for my business and employees. If you run a small business this is the place to go!

Alignment was good.. but never called to say it was done until my boyfriend finally called... impersonal and wouldnt go through what was on the invoice with him. To top it all off they chipped up his new rims with their impacts...

Update: we have called customer service, corporate, sent emails.....all with no avail. They comment on negative posts saying they want to help you but they dont! They ignore you!!! DO NOT TRUST!!!Very, very poor customer service with no credible leadership. Look at their approval rating through better business bureau before you seek their services.

After doing business with two different Monro garages myself (Norwalk and Wooster) and receiving very poor service, I swore I would never use Monro again. Then I learn the Sandusky garage is not honoring my friends tire warranty when she went back the same day as tires were put on to complain of a horrendous noise not there prior to service. They tell her to drive it anyway and explain the noise. When noise didnt go away a few days later, after initial complaint, they wouldnt honor the warranty. If I wasnt convinced before, I am now. Never do business with Monro. Period.

On our way back from Kellys Island our vehicle pulling a camper had the alternator go bad Labor day on the way home. Fearing a break down out on a country road, my wife found Monro which was thankfully open. Devon was able to locate a new part and we were on our way in a few hours. We parked our camper in the parking lot behind the Monro building (since it was a big open parking lot) an had an unfortunate encounter with the owner of the building behind Monro. He pounded on our door and yelled as us for being there. I explained our situation to him but he was not at all understanding, he scared my wife and children as a result. I told Devon about this guy, he told me how this person was which calmed my concerns. Thanks Devon...

Great Service!! I had been to 3 places that were not able to take care of the issue. I stopped at Monro, every bay was full. Despite being busy, Devon got me all fixed up and back on the road with little wait.

My family and I had car trouble leaving cedar point, which was the abesolute worst timing being 3 and a half hours from home. We had a nightmare of a night trying to get our car in enough working condition to get home and come morning when monro auto opened, Devon and his co workers went above and beyond satisfaction to help us out in our unfortunate car toubles. Monro’s Building needs a facelift but don’t let that fool you, the employees there are great! If your a woman who doesn’t really know anything about cars this is the place to go, they won’t try and get you for anything you don’t need. I was told what I could use and what could wait. They didn’t pressure me one bit into buying anything, but instead took me out and explained to me what the problems were . I cant remember the managers name but Thank you very much for the knowledge and great service, I will be back! He even fixed a squeaking noise I was having for a long time that other shops couldn’t find. Didn’t charge me a dime since it only took him a minute or two!

I came to town to go to the island. My car started acting up not knowing if it was a u joint or transition problem. They looked it over for me and gave me a referance of where to take it because it was not a joint and probably a transaxle. Didnt charge me anything to look it over and treated me great.

The friendly staff at Monro had my back in a pinch. I was on my way to Cedar Point when my brakes started making an awful grinding. I showed up there with no appointment. they got my car in the shop, diagnosed the problem and got me back on the road lickity split.

First, I blame myself for having the work done that I knew the car didn’t need. I went in for an oil change and walked out with over $1,000 in work that was unnecessary. I was told that the rear suspension needed work (struts) as the rear tires were cupping badly. I asked to see the rear tires after the job - again, my fault, I should have looked before - and they showed no cupping or wear at all. The tires were in very good shape. I would warn all potential customers to avoid this business at all costs. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I was in town for work, and the day I was set to leave my breaks went out. I brought my car in at about 1:30 in the afternoon believing I was out of luck, but Devin and crew replaced my breaks and had me on the road that night. Came in today after making an appointment yesterday for a brake job, Devon was there instantly to assist me, I told him I needed brakes, in the front and rear. Devon, said let us take a look at it, and we will see what you need. They pulled my car in, and inspected both sets of my brakes, Devon, said your fronts are fine for another season or so, but your back brakes and rotors are shot, which I knew the rears were bad, but I also, seen the fronts and knew they were fine. Before Devon even said anything to me, So right then and there I knew we had a couple of honest people,( Honest people especially for servicing vehicles are hard to find),the technician Jim, is great, I could tell by the way he was wrenching, he had alot of experience. Alot of repair shops can be shady, and for anyone reading this who is wondering if this place is legit or not, well I can say this, I would highly recommend, to have your vehicle serviced here. I will be bringing back my car for the front brake replacement when its time. So thanks Devon and Jim for making my first experience with Monro Muffler Brake and service, wonderful, 10/10 for quality and customer service! 👍
