Sewell Appliance has been the worst experience I have ever had working with a company. They do not communicate with their customers. I understand the difficulties imposed by the pandemic, but they take your money and do not deliver the product you paid for nor do they communicate about the delays nor expectations as to when you might receive the product. I will warn you to avoid this company.

After unloading my current fridge and waiting all day for the delivery of my new very expensive fridge, I received a text at 5::0pm that they weren’t coming! Very frustrating! Next day haven’t heard from them either! Disappointing to say the least.Now it’s 9/27 and I still don’t have my fridge because it arrived without handles! Once again, I had to unload and reload my current fridge! Worse than that is no one is calling me back to let me know what’s happening!! After spending $11,000, I expected much better service!!

Our experience with Sewell Appliance was nothing short of fantastic. From the beautiful showroom and excellent customer service, we couldnt be more pleased. Eddie took his time with us, patiently educating us on the features and possibilities of numerous brands of different types of appliances. While there were delays, none came as a surprise due to excellent communication. The installation team was great too, taking great care of not only the appliances but also our new floors and cabinets. Great experience! Thanks Eddie!

This was the worst experience of my life. Going to pull my emails together and consult my attorney. Total dishonesty from day one. Jeopardizing my business and shocked that I am enraged. Do not do business with this company. I talked Dyllan the sales person no success, talked to the manager no success, called and spoke to corporate, no success. Emailed corporate today awaiting a reply.Now I’m going to rip off report.com and the Better Business Bureau.

As a designer, I have referred many clients over the last 20-30 years to Sewell. Many of the salespeople I have known longer and they have remained in the industry through thick and thin and developed a working knowledge - You cant find more professional people. Ive also worked with a number of other companies so I know the difference. There are a lot of issues - especially COVID related - that are out of their control. Working with a design build firm, we see this across the board. Keep in mind, that they are all working to expedite projects best as they can.

We purchased several thousand dollars worth of appliances from this company for our kitchen renovation. Unfortunately, our items were delayed due to the industry struggling to meet supply and demand due to COVID-19. Once our fridge was delivered, the filter was not available so we patiently waited for that to arrive. We paid over $700.00 for installation fees. The filter was merely dropped off at my house and not installed. The installation of the filter is part of the installation. After emailing Dyllan, our sales rep, I received a call scheduling the filter installation between 8-12. I missed an entire day of work and no one showed up. I didnt receive a call back to reschedule and now multiple emails to Dyllan on this issue have gone unanswered. This is not the way to do business and we are highly disappointed in this companys treatment. I hope to get resolution of this soon, or I will be contesting the installation charge for our fridge with our merchant for non-compliance of the agreement (payment for installation).UPDATE: 08/26/2021: Yesterday, someone came to install the filter, but wasnt able to do so because they didnt have a part needed to install it. Im still waiting, its been weeks, now.

Linda Hosea worked with me at Sewells. She was a dream to deal with.I bought 5 appliances and most of them were shown on-line not showroomexamples. She researched and found answers for all my questions. Ifshe did not know the answer, she would check with the company. Mostimpressive of all is that she very promptly returned all my calls. Shemade the shopping for 5 different appliances a pleasant experienceinstead of a nightmare.

I am beyond surprised how this place has anything higher than a one star rating. The only bright spot has been their installations techs. They have been polite and seem to take their role and responsibilities serious. The same cannot be said for the sales team. Unresponsive is a sever understatement when it comes to communicating. A person can only be told, we will call you back so many times before it looses all meaning. After waiting three months on a microwave, the techs showed up to do an install. The was not a single bit of communication telling they would be at my house. It usually helps to make certain the homeowners are going to be home. Well...the washer went in fine...but surprise surprise....it was not the correct microwave. Despite the fact I bought a new house over three months ago with no appliances because they were not ordered until the day before I was scheduled to close...The lack of communication is the most frustrating aspect if this entire situation. Given the choice I would never give them the opportunity in the future. Beware of the possibility of extreme disappointment and aggravation from a sales team that simply does not care.

Not a good experience. We purchased a Bosch range and refrigerator in November 2020 from Sewell appliance. Our sales rep was honest with us about the delays due to COVID-19, which we completely understood. Our appliances were delivered in mid-January 2021. Neither was exactly what we ordered, but due to the delay, we decided to keep them. The team that installed both were very haphazard, and really just wanted to move quickly and leave. After they left, we realized the refrigerator was damaged and beeped constantly. There was an electrical shortage in one of the crisper drawers that needed to be reset. We called Bosch, and they sent someone to repair it. He reset the refrigerator and left within minutes, never explaining what he did. Later that afternoon, we discovered that the door was broken. Im over it. Such junk and no service. Typical for appliances.

This place has an incredible selection of higher-end appliances (e.g. Sub-Zero, Monogram, etc) in their showroom. Sales people are helpful and knowledgeable, with no pressure. Great place to compare various models from the many different manufacturers.

Would be a zero if it was possible. To anyone that is planning to buy from here my recommendation is that you look elsewhere. We ordered a refrigerator and freezer units back in May for delivery in July 2020. Upon delivery the refrigerator panel was damaged on arrival and they had to order a new one. They called to deliver on July 27th and then no one showed up. It turned out they seemed not to have the panel yet. After 2 months of waiting for the panel to arrive to their warehouse, they scheduled over 6 delivery dates and missed each one of them without even a call. We decided to get a refund for the panel and installation of the panel and go to another company. The other company delivered on time but was unable to instal the panel because they say the freezer and refrigerator are not properly installed. After contacting them to correct the installation, I am now again waiting for a date to have someone come in. Lack of communication, lack of reliability and lack of accountability are just a few of the things to point out. I got all my kitchen appliances from them and now have nightmares of ever having to rely on them if something goes wrong.

I had an appointment and came to the showroom on time. Since the previous customer was late, I had to wait an extra half hour without the courtesy of my salesman even coming to the front to say, sorry, I will be a little late getting with you. Once I engaged with him, he was very nice however, similar to other reviews, the follow up with extremely poor if not non-existent. I was promised a call back to determine when they could get the range I was looking for and after ME making two more calls and two more follow up emails, I NEVER heard back. Very disappointing. Would not recommend Sewell to anyone. Service and follow up no better than the big box stores..

Needed to get a refrigerator since our LG went down a month ago. Tom Styer was a nice and great salesman....no pressure!! He showed us a Frigidaire 28 cu ft model...and the price was better than what we could have found in the big box stores!! We will not hesitate to refer our friends to Sewell and Tom...in fact, Ill be looking for a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer to put in my mancave!!! WELL DONE!!!

Ordered 40k of kitchen appliances. I have been buying from Sewell for 25+ years. Since change in ownership, this company has been a nightmare. NO service. I have been stood up 3xs for installations that are outsourced. Can not get a call back from GM, sales rep, or any individual at the company. I have a sub zero fridge that is not completely installed, 2 dishwashers that were installed wrong and a wolf range that was installed off center. The project has been on hold because of these mistakes and I can not get anyone to call me back...disaster!!!!

The answer to my one star review had nothing to do with the delay in delivery,but was in reference to the abysmal and abominable service! The dishwasher ordered came in 3 months after we were told that it would arrive. Do you think that the Salesman, Tom Styer, never called me to inform me of the delay. I called him approximately 6-7 times and he was always in the bathroom or working with another customer. I repeatedly asked for a callback and none were forthcoming. It was supposed to be installed on Thursday between 11 AM-1 PM and by 4 PM, no one showed up. I called Sewell and was told that he had a complicated installation before mine. Do you think that the installer could have taken 1 minute to call me and inform me of this? He didn’t! I stayed home all day and he never showed up and didn’t have the decency or manners to give me a call.This isn’t about the COVID-19 virus and a delay in getting the dishwasher to Sewell, but rather was about the horrific service by Sewell and the installer. Their response didn’t address my concerns but probably was a scripted response applicable to the type of complaint.I canceled the dishwasher order and will buy the Miele dishwasher at an appliance store that cares about it’s customers. So many reviews have previously been written about the horrific service at Sewell that I was not a one time occurrence. A call from the owner or a response applicable to my specific complaint would have been nice rather than a generic response that didn’t address my criticisms.

I bought a GE refrigerator from Sewell several months ago. Due to the virus The delivery had to be postponed; but low and behold, it arrived anyway, without any phone call, text or contact to let me know it was coming. Refrigerator is finally installed, its in for less than a month when both the fridge and freezer stop cooling. Circuit breaker is fine, and Sewell doesnt want to know anything about it. They told me the sales manager would call back, but he didnt. I called him, and he had a very I dont really care attitude, as they clearly have my money. His only comment was we cant really service GE. Wasnt interested in helping me on any level. After having done business with Sewell several times over the years, I will not return based on this poor experience.

Horrible customer support!! I didnt want to give any stars.We remodeled our kitchen in 2017 and purchased all our appliances from this Sewell. We thought the experience would be better than a big box store. We were wrong! We have had issues with our refrigerator since May (3 months) and have received no support. We are not asking that they repair the product free. We just want some assistance with determining the correct parts and getting a reliable repair person. They sent us to a third party that then charged us $70 to order incorrect parts. We still have a broken refrigerator!! I read that Costco replaced someone’s refrigerator that was having these issues!!

Just purchased a Bosch dishwasher. Norman was excellent installing the machine. He did an outstanding job explaining how to use the machineI cant tell you how much I enjoy my new Speed Queen Washer! Bonnie was very helpful and courteous when helping me select a new washer. Sam and Jackson delivered my new appliance with in the week and took the old one away. They were very polite and showed me how to use the new appliance. I was very happy with purchasing my appliance at Sewell.Just purchased a Speed Queen Dryer! Again, I ordered with Bonnie and Sam & Jackson delivered it to my home. I cant express how much I love working with Sewell Appliance. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable about household appliances. Very happy!!!!

Poor customer service. I ordered a range and microwave on 12/4/2019. It was to be delivered on 12/17. No calls or emails until I reached out to Butch myself. Range did not arrive. It will be there 12/18. Called to day will not be in until 12/19. I find it hard to believe that in this day and time this company does not have workflow process to track customers orders, The sales person Butch never called or responded until I contacted them. I called the corp office and the receptionist hung up on me. I canceled my order cant deal with no customer service.

Great selection but terrible customer service. We were in the store for over 30 minutes and not a single person greeted us, approached us or even offered assistance. It was like we didnt even exist. Would not recommend going there unless youre window shopping or looking for ideas. I guess they just didnt want us to spend our money there.

Sewell is the worst company for service. I have purchased sub zero fridge and wolf range, they never once came to service my appliances. Every time I call the wait is always 1-2 weeks. They suggest to call Sterling. If I could go back I would have given Sterling appliances my business because of their outstanding customer service.

I love these guys. I hate buying kitchen appliances, but this place was the best. I told them what I wanted, and they showed me exactly that without wasting my time. Hassle free. Plus, they worked with my contractor so installation was easy. BUT the best part, is their customer service. After a part on my stovetop grill broke when I was cleaning it, not only did Sewell call me within minutes after I sent an email, but they even offered to lend me the part until the replacement part came in. No hassles. Quick email. Two minutes on the phone. Done.

No longer a reputable business it was when store was located on Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs. Ovens quit working. Service man claimed the part for Thermidor ovens was no longer made and this could not be ordered. New oven would have to be purchased. Called thermador and had the part in less than a week. Had part installed by third party. Beware of this establishments shady business practices.

My large cup of iced-coffee tipped over in the kitchen sending the liquid UNDER our KitchenAid Side by Side Refrigerator. My job? Clean up the mess. When I tried to move the fridge out of its cubbyhole - no movement. Called 1-800 and got a courteous hello, but my agent couldnt tell me how to move it. I remembered we had a GREAT experience when we bought the refrigerator and many kitchen appliances from Sewell, so I called, was immediately put in touch with Sewell technician - Joe - who walked me through the fix in a patient and informed way. It is unthinkable that a company stays in business at all with such poor service. The sales staff was arrogant and outright disrespectful when the Bosch warming drawer was installed improperly, bent out of shape and failed to close or open without force. We purchased over $16,000 of appliances from Sewell . Sewell disclaims any responsibility for their failure to get the drawer repaired or replaced. The warranty is useless. They turned the matter over to Bosch who had repeatedly sent 4 different repair people all of whom pass the blame on the person before them. They probably could have paid the price of that warming drawer in what has been spent sending repair people over and over and over again.The sales person as well as the store manager washed their hands of the entire problem the minute the thousands they were paid had been received. I asked that they simply replace the drawer and was told by the less than interested pompous salesman “if you buy a new car and the gas cap doesn’t fit, you don’t get a new car to fix the problem”. Shame on you, Sewell Appliance.

Sales dept will do and say whatever it takes to sell you overpriced appliances. I bought a kitchenaid fridge that is leaking water after 2 years. Looked online and this is a widespread known problem with all whirlpool made fridges of this type. Sewell could care less that they sold me an overpriced product with a known defect (duckbill grommet on defrost drain is known defective. Whirlpool has even sent out a service bulletin and has a repair/replacement kit) Talked to Sewell service dept and they said they would do nothing but charge me $118 for a service call plus $40 for each half hour of labor. I asked why that hadnt made arrangements with whirlpool/kitchenaid to get reimbursed for repairing this defective part for their customers. He said that was up to the customer!!? If you dont mind overpaying for products and slow services then this is your place to shop....
