Terrible experience.. they made my window situation even worse. I posted to pictures on this review. So let me start at the beginning. I needed a location that accepted walk ins. So I search and I see that they accepted walk ins in the mornings. As soon as I arrive, I am told that the techs are out to lunch and if I like to schedule a mobile service. I told them no I was already there, why would I want to pay extra for mobile if I was already there. I had the time to wait. Turns out the chip I had on my window that turned into a huge crack after they used the machine. Made absolutely no sense how they can mess this up. Then they started asking about my insurance. I was going to pay of pocket for this so they may have done this on purpose to get more money out of my insurance. I was so upset when this happened. Never again will I go to any SafeLite locations!!Update: They responded to my review and that is a lie. They didn’t offer me a credit nor even to assist. They instantly asked for my insurance info which I did not give to them.

This place is quick and efficient. I got a quote and prepaid my service online. Then I just dropped my car off and it was ready in a couple hours. I would definitely recommend this service.

It may take a full day if you leave your car at the shop. But workmanship is excellent. My newer Accord has the camera for lane departure/assist.....and the camera is working just as well as before. No need to go to dealership for windshield replacement n camera recalibration.

I had my windshield repaired here, but I was never charged for it-I didn’t think twice, as I thought my insurance covered it. Months after the fact, I find out they took me to collections. What? I was never given a bill in person or in the mail, nor did I receive a phone call or email stating a balance was due. I then tried to call customer service, and came to find out you literally cannot talk to a human being-they send you round and round on a phone tree until you are disconnected. There is an email address, but I still haven’t been helped. Do not go here, as there are plenty of other quality window repair shops in the area.

Not happy, drop off truck at 9:am at 4:30 pm still did not start the job on vehicle.

They fixed my windshield but while it was wiped clean, it had streaks requiring a car wash, which you couldnt do for 24 hours. And it was farther than my nearby location, they claimed they could successfully verify all safety equipment would work after installation, they were unable to do so and wanted me to drive back another 50 miles out of my way during the work week to finish the scheduled job!

I went here today to get my half dime sized crack in my windshield repaired, but after the window repair guy tried to fix it, it only got worse. I ended up with a crack over 1 ft long and was told to go through my insurance because now I will need have my windshield completely replaced. I have had many cracks in the windshield repaired in the past and never has the crack been made worse after the repair. Im never going to this Safelite Glass place again for any future work. I took my car to Galaxy Auto Glass and Window Tint at 1521 S. Grand Ave. Santa Ana and they replaced my entire windshield including labor and tax for $160!

Ive used multiple locations of Safelite for years. Had a very frustrating experience using this Santa Ana location. They no showed my 8AM to 12PM appointment, and when I called at 11:30 they argued with my about my appointment being 8AM to 1PM, saying that they are coming at 1PM. When I called at 2PM after they still havent shown up, Elizabeth put me on hold for 20 minutes and then hung up. When I called back they said I will be receiving a call from the manager Jerry in 10 minutes. When he didnt call back in an hour I called and again was put on hold for 20 minuted and then hung up on. By now it is 3:30 and assumed they are not coming with no explanation. This is a Friday. On Monday I call around Noon and ask what happened. Jerry, the manager, says he was short staffed that day and apologized. He said they could come out by 2PM. They did not come until 3:30 at which point I tuned them away because we needed to leave at 4PM. They finally come the following day and perform the windshield replacement.They did not offer any sort of discount or apology for being late a second time or for the 60+ minutes I spent on the phone with them trying to figure out when they were going to show up. Needless to say, I wont be using them again since they obviously dont need my business. And my company gave them a lot of business.-Joe @ SoCalGas

But more importantly, he provided exceptional customer service; he gave me an estimated completion time and then offered me water/coffee and TV while I waited.Oscar even vacuumed the car and cleaned all of the windows free of charge.5/5 for the service overall.Would highly recommend; remember to set up an appointment online.

I showed up at 7:59 a.m. comma the door opened exactly at 8 a.m. . Online the estimated time was 2 hours comma Oscar who owns the shop estimated 1.5 hours. The repairs took exactly one hour. The whole time Oscar kept me updated on his progress. He explained after care and gave me a number I can reach him for any questions. Im a sucker for great customer service, so this will be my new facility if I have to replace any Auto Glass.

No return call for pricing and installation. When I called them nobody knew what was going on. Had to call different people to find out who to call and then the price doubled.

The guys at the shop were great. Professional and courteous. They deserve 5 stars. However, as a whole the company deserves 1 star. I made an appointment online and give all my insurance info. I got an email saying everything was in order to get my windshield replaced. When I showed up they said it would be $350 for the windshield. When I balked they explained that their communication from the corporate office that runs the website is terrible and they apologized.Also, $350 for a windshield? I called a mobile service and they came to me within two hours. Total cost: $162.

Great service for a fair price.

I was unlucky enough to take some sort of debris to the windshield on the freeway resulting in a circular crack on my windshield that looked like a spider web. I went to safelite because of that jingle that we all know and because this particular location had good reviews. Oscar was very helpful and pleasant to interact with. The replacement went smoothly and he actually left my car looking cleaner than when I brought it in. I would definitely recommend this particular safelite location to anyone in need of repair or replacement. Thanks Oscar.

I called the place and they said I needed a repair and asked me about the inch and they said it was fine so I drove to them and said that I needed a window replacement. I don’t think these people are professionals

Had to have my entire windshield replaced, and the actual product itself appears to be fine. However, the rear-view mirror had to be fixed by another Safelite location, and theres also exposed sealant/adhesive and one of the exterior trim pieces is ripped/damaged. I may need to find replacement trim pieces to repair this.

Shattered my drivers side window. Hyundai said $600... Safelite gave me an appt within 4 days and cost was $350. I went to their Santa Ana location... Exactly on time... Done within 1 hr. Great job!

Very UNhappy with this repair. The initial rock chip was less than 1/4 and hardly noticeable, is now 2 long with a line that goes right through and is cracked on both sides. Sunlight now reflects off of this terrible repair.

I was told 2 hours wait at the shop. This because they overbook appointments. They booked 3 people for a 10am appointment and only 1 technician working. By 11: 30 only one of us was done, while 2 more appointments have also shone. 12:30 and they are now just starting!

The guy who did the work was (forgot name) was professional and on top of his job and shop. He delivered my truck exactly when he said and the job was perfect.

How many appointments does it take to change a windshield?...Two?...Four?...Six?!Im a patient guy and Ive been trying for over a month and Ive gotten nothing but the run-around. What a waste of time.Imagine this:1. You show up for your first appointment, and they have the wrong windshield. A 2007 - not a 2006. Whoops, wrong one. Mistakes happen.2. You show up for the second appointment, and the windshield they have doesnt match the tint of your existing windshield. They didnt notice the tint in trip #1. Reschedule and come back they say.3. You show up for the third appointment, and the windshield they have wont fit your rear-view mirror because it has an electronic compass. Didnt you see the electronic compass last time? Cmon guys, this is getting lame. They say theyll call when they have the part and they are ready to go.They never call.4. The fourth time, a Tech calls to ask if you are coming to your appointment. What appointment? You explain you never received a call back from trip #3. Besides, and wouldnt you know, its another waste of time anyways as its discovered the windshield they have for you was delivered scratched and broken by their warehouse. Turns out you have to wait again. What is going on here?!Thankfully, this time you get a call. They have the part. The appointment is confirmed.5. You show up for your appointment - the fifth time - and they dont have any windshield for you at all. Thats right. Yes, you have a confirmed appointment - no they dont have any windshield for you. At what point does this become absurd? Is it really that complicated?Each time you stand there as the Tech calls the main office for answers and spends 30 minutes waiting on hold before hanging up and shrugging his shoulders at you. The Techs are powerless, and their office/back end is seems incompetent and unsympathetic. No one is willing to take responsibility or even acknowledge that the customer experience they provide has been abysmal.Im not a big review writer (or a complainer for that matter) - but Safelite Autoglass has exceeded my expectations in terms of disappointment and has certainly given me a story to tell whenever I hear the words Safeliteor windshield.TLDR: Safelite Autoglass Santa Ana is a colossal waste of time. They are disorganized, careless, and communicate poorly.

Had the front window of my 2016 Grand Cherokee wiped out by a BFR kicked out by a semi truck. My window has a small puncture but spidered out totally while parked at work.It went to Safelite because it was close and covered by AAA. There was a solo tech installing who is also the Boss he did a great job, advised me on caring for the new glass and I was away within about 2 hours. I was very happy with the service thru Safelite and the owner/installer & AAA insurance for making the whole process simple and easy.***UPDATE: Today 12/20 I caught another da** rock and chipped my newly installed windshield. Back to Safelite. The manager recognized me immediately and when I pointed out the new chip he gave me a thumbs up and said, 20 minutes and youll be on the way...He was 2 minutes off. He was done in 18! He filled, dried, sanded and fixed the chip to the point I can barely see anything to show what happened. Fast, quick, friendly and he wouldnt take a dime. This is old school customer service. I am impressed twice.Even if I had to shell out my own $ again I would give Safelite at this one man shop in Santa Ana first shot at the glass since He did so well the BOTH times!
