Little cockerel with a Napoleon complex runs the place. Blasts horrible music that better artists wrote and thinks hes some sort of musician. Hasnt the slightest idea how to be civil.

Stabiles is forever my favorite place to shop for high quality gifts. They really have something for everyone! They’re fun and helpful staff are always ready to answer any questions. They helped me pick out an amazing new tool box for my dad and he absolutely loves it! Best local boutique by far.

I visited Stabiles last week for the first time and was surprised by the attentiveness of the employees. They were so excited to talk to me about all of the special products they carried and had a story for almost everything. The store is a culmination of beautifully crafted products, so In addition to supporting a small business I was also thrilled to find out I also directly supported artists by shopping there. I will definitely be shopping there again, great place to find unique gifts!

The owner of the store removed my review from Yelp so Im posting my review on Google.Heres what i wrote on yelp: I had a incident with the owner of Stabiles. I purchased a necklace in the mobile store then subsequently visited the HQ store a few hours later where I saw the same necklace priced for $10 less. When I asked for a price adjustment, the owner came back and told me he misprinted the piece and that the price I paid was correct. He told me he would give me $5 back or could do the return. In this situation, I really felt like he should have honored the price listed. When I told him, I was going to write a review about our exchange and the fact he wasnt going to give me a proper price adjustment, he then changed his game and offered to pay me the entire price for the piece. I took great offense in this and felt like he should have just done the right thing and honor the $10...in my eyes, it wasnt the money, its the principle. Shop someplace else if you want to support someone with honorable principles.I think the fact he removed my review tells a lot about the kind of person he is. Hes more concerned with 5 star reviews than running a business in an ethical manner. I also will add one additional point of clarification that after I told him I was going to post a review on Yelp, he first threatened to return my product without my consent and take the product back before he threw out the often of paying for the entire piece. My family owned a small business for over 20 years and we would have never treated our customers this way.

This place is amazing! Carefully curated and imaginative, it has something for everyone and more. The owner is a talented artist himself and I’m so happy to see that after years of operating out of a killer little art truck, he now has the ultimate space to elevate Santa Barbara’s much needed Retail Arts Scene! Every time I go in there, something seriously cool and unique has just arrived! Paradox of Choice, indeed!

Great collection of artisan goods. Ive spent years searching for a hoop earring with a specific closure... BINGO. they not only had it, it was avaiable in two sizes in two finishes. I also bought a fashionable sleek refillable lighter stick.

This is the coolest store in Santa Barbara. I am STOKED theyre on State Street now. Its the perfect place for gifts because they have a little bit of everything. The staff is also extremely helpful and knowledgeable

The photos here are kinda misleading, and I forgot to take some. Its (now?) one of the hip/ster rummage shops, selling gifts and nice clothing too. The turntable in the front suggests they may have live music sometimes. Worth a visit!

I purchased a defective item which tore in 3 different places the first time it was worn. Stabiles made it impossible for me to return or receive a refund and they were extremely rude in the process. Do not buy from these people with unmoral principles who rip off their customers.

Stabiles is a fun store offering interesting items, ranging from home goods to jewelry and clothing, at fair prices. The staff was friendly and helpful.
