This is the second time I used TechEase, and I was happy with the results both times. Today, I expected to leave my PC overnight, but they called two hours after I dropped it off and told me it was finished. The remote diagnosis was quick and efficient. I like these folks. They communicate clearly and take time to explain. They also do MACs.
My computer recently installed an incomplete update. I couldnt reinstall the previous version, so I had it taken in. They encountered the same problem of an incomplete update, but they were able to fix it by installing a new hard drive and they saved every photo on my computer (Im a photographer, so that detail was incredibly important to me). I basically got back a brand new computer for a very reasonable price. Im very happy with the quality of service that I received!

Not only did he perform the necessary service in record time, but without my asking, took pictures of the before and after situation. The fan for my laptop started to wear out / run down and it was OBVIOUS. I can swap out a fan for a computer but not a laptop so I took it to TechEase and asked that they order a fan and replace it. They refused stating they wouldnt do any work unless they were able to do a diagnostic on my laptop and charge a fee (I think around 70 bucks???). I understand the need for these kinds of fees but my situation was different. I told them I didnt need a diagnosis, just the fan replaced but they said they wouldnt do any work unless they could do a diagnosis and charge the fee. I repeated that the problem was obvious, that the diagnosis would only take seconds and paying close to 70 bucks for a few seconds of diagnosis wasnt reasonable. Despite my stance, they wouldnt just install a new fan and because they knew I needed their help this additional fee they were requiring felt like extortion. I really felt forced to have to pay this completely unnecessary fee! I thought about it for a minute and decided to go ahead and pay the diagnostic anyway because, they got me and I had no choice. I started to turn over my laptop and asked how long would theyd need it for the diagnostic. I was told it would take several days! I remarked it wasnt practical for me to give up my laptop for several days to evaluate a problem I already knew what the issue was and in a few seconds. They told me that I wasnt their only customer and that there was a stack of computers to get through first. This I understood too because computer repairs can be time consuming except that the two clerks were absolutely unapologetic about it. I told them I work essentially 70 hours a week and couldnt afford to have the laptop gone for several days, then wait more days for a fan to come in, and wait whatever time they required to do the install. They unsympathetically told me that if I wanted my laptop fixed then thats what Id have to do.I just walked out of there, spent five minutes and ordered a new fan online but didnt have time for learning how to do the install myself. Of course a week later my fan finally gave out and my computer overheated and crashed. I guess I got what I deserved.Terrible service, no common sense, unreasonable/scamming policies, and slow repair times. Most of the companys five star reviews seem to be from 2 or more years ago. I suspect service has gone down hill since then and Id skip on this place every time.
Excellent service! Knowledgeable, on time, clear communication, professional and courteous. I work in tech and am very computer literate. TechEase helped with a stuck Windows update that I just couldnt resolve myself. Nice to know there is a place I can trust.
I would highly recommend TechEase to anyone who needs assistance with their computers. They were recommended to me by a good friend and were very responsive to my request for help which I appreciate since I run a small business from my home office! I had numerous issues I needed help with and Pablo took care of all of them very efficiently. I am back up and running more effectively and I cant thank him enough!!
I cannot recommend TechEase highly enough - they are fantastic! I run a small nonprofit agency. Dealing with our technology needs, equipment, etc. has always been a challenge - but its a critical part of business operations and cannot be ignored. We recently had recent cable voltage spike incident that killed wiring and impacted our network, voip, servers, and we were completely down for a week! TechEase was referred by a trusted associate and they were able to come to the office within a couple of hours of our call. Evan was focused, fast and fantastic. He quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem/s and we were up and running within a day. And did I tell you that they are affordable? There was no wasted time and no messing around - Evan figured out our problems and fixed them. It was a wonderful experience.
Ive been using TechEase for several years now and have never had anything less than a stellar experience. Im the guy who usually calls with an emergency and want it fixed yesterday, and they take care of me time and time again. I have owned a few businesses and am not a high-dollar account by any means, yet they still take care of me like I am a major account. I have bought three separate computer systems from them over the years and am always surprised that a company like that can have such good pricing. I honestly cant say enough about these guys, I have recommended them to friends and colleagues time and time again. TechEase really feels like a throwback from days gone by where businesses treated customers with great service and a friendly attitude. You just dont find that anymore, and I feel lucky to have found these guys.
TeckEase gave me excellent fast service.I bought a new computer from them, they were able to get everything off my old computer and on to the new one. The tech person also helped me get a couple of new programs on the computer that I needed and set me up with a free anti-virus- firewall.I was very pleased with the service. Thank you.
Evan from TechEase came out to my house and replaced the power supply on my computer. Evan was courteous, professional, and efficient, and arrived here at the scheduled time. Setting up an appointment was easy.I recommend TechEase without reservation.
Repair took a little longer than expected, but was still pretty fast, and very cost effective! Also, my computers now cleaner than its ever been.

Ive used TechEase several times recently. First to set up my new television, and later to help with computer issues. They are technical geniuses but the best part is they are polite and they respond very quickly. I highly recommend them and will be calling them again, probably soon!
The staff was friendly and very understanding! I had a corrupted hard drive with no back up and was very nervous about the recovery process. While my drive was in the shop, they made sure to keep in contact with progress reports. Luckily it was a simple recovery and only a few days later, I had a new drive with all my data recovered! I couldnt be happier! Will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Terrible. Dont waste your time or money. I had a screen replaced on my PC, and after returning it I noticed there was 2 dead pixels in the screen. They said this was standard an they could not replace THEIR mistake because it is standard, and said they would only fix it if the 2 dead pixels were closer together, or more of them. Whatever, right? 2 Dead pixels not the end of the world. Also, I noticed the hinges were loose when I got the computer back. Well fast forward now, my computer is falling apart at the hinge due to their horrible repair, and theyve completely ruined my PC, beyond its repair cost worth. Of course with the computer illiteracy in Santa Barbara theyll probably do fine... Good luck with your horrible service.

Evan, Nicole, and the entire staff have been handling my computer needs for several years and just bought a new computer for my business. Evan set it up with all my P.O.S. software and transferred my data from old computer. It was done quickly and efficiently! I was so pleased to find this group. I am not a tech person and was very concerned about getting a virus protection for my computer and thinking it woul be rather more of a big deal than it was. For one thing, everyone was very kind about my problem and my nervousness. Things went so smoothly from beginning to end. Thr tech Dave was able to install the anti virus from his computer that day, that minute, actually. And it was much more reasonable price-wise than I had expected. I just called to book an appointment with Techease since they have been so great in the past, but they were super busy and booked until next week. However, when they found out my issue, we logged into the online support and fixed the problem in 10 minutes! Fantastic service!
