Love this place as a buyer and consigner! Somehow theyve hit the perfect balance of providing great finds and bargains for buyers, but also a great return for consignors. Their employees are clearly very well-trained and knowledgeable.Ive resold/consigned all over and this is my favorite place to take my high end items that Im ready to part with. They are super transparent and have a great online system where you can track everything (what things are priced at, what sells, when the consignment period is ending, etc.) Also, if you want your items back at any time, they will pick them for you at no charge!The employees at this location are also so kind and helpful!

Fun consignment shop. The girls who work there are Non-judgy and extremely friendly, they are excited that you find a deal and something you love. Great items with a wide range of prices and items, from Trendy to Classic fashion. You can park close to the 700 block, as State Street is closed to vehicles.

Good luck selling or finding anything if you wear larger than a size 12. The average American woman wears a size 14. Unfortunately, this company is not inclusive of the average woman. I hope they expand to at least include XL items.

I rarely post reviews but I was so pleased to find this place yesterday after having a terrible experience at Jessica’s Consignment. This is a more modern, friendly, and busy location than Jessica’s, where buyers and sellers are treated well by the store staff, the items are good quality, and the store had a lot of shoppers eager to buy. I almost gave up on consignment until I found this place, and I’ll be going here more often! To recap for those who are looking to consign in Santa Barbara: Jessica’s new owner is rude to sellers, but has high end more dressy items for an older clientele, Crossroads will take anything, but the atmosphere is overwhelming and they will give you very little for nice items, and this place is the perfect in between, accepting nice items, but pricing it right, and the atmosphere is fun and positive. Save yourself the stress and go here!

Love this place! The clothes and jewellery are in amazing shape and there are so many lovely deals. I was even able to buy a brand new Coach bag for $30!

As both a consigned and as a customer with The Closet, the merchandise here is an amazing selection and the service is friendly and wonderful! All locations I have found this to be true! Buying prepared clothing also helps the environment!

This is an overdue review for The Closet Trading Co. My family and I took a trip to Santa Barbara for the 4th of July and I stumbled upon this cute store. To my surprises there were many clothing items and Misc. items to choose from which were very affordable. I purchased a Coach backpack for $40 and I LOVE IT!!!!! Thanks for the great customer service and cant wait to visit again.

Definitely the best consignment store in SB! They carry all of the best brands and the consignment process is really easy and straight forward. Plus they are the only consignment shop on State Street that is locally owned! Definitely check it out.

I used to live in SB and this was my staple. Now that Ive moved to the mid west I follow their Instagram and constantly order items that are shipped immediately to my home. Everyone who works there is always open to spending time with me on the phone to answer any questions I have or take additional photos for me. I have never experienced customer service likes this before. Also, their options are amazing and always ships to me with no imperfections.

This is the only place I shop! I can get a pair of current season Rag & Bone jeans for $40, a Lululemon tank for less than $20 not to mention local jewelry designers and authentic Louis Vuitton and Chanel for half price! Theyre super friendly and easy to work with when I drop my items off; then I either get a check in the mail or get store credit to use in the store (aka all those goodies above for free!) They get new things in all day every day so its like a new store everyday. Im obsessed!
