Staff and store are run very efficiently. My expectations were far succeeded. My doctor was amazing. He was confident, experienced, funny and personable. Evelyn took care of me from the time I walked in until the time I left. Best part, I got frames that I love!

I’m very pleased with the honest, extremely helpful service I received. I was given misinformation about my frames by my last optical office. Turns out my frames were not discontinued and Lens Crafters had them in stock in three colors. They installed my lens while I waited and I was out the door saving hundreds of dollars. See Clay at the Santa Barbara location, he is the best.

Laya was a great help with everything and helped me pick out some glasses that fit well and comfortable.

It was busy but the management team delegated the staff properly. I was only in for a repair so they took my name and number and called me 30 minutes later.

I have been buying my glasses here for years! Super cool staff and great doctors.

I broke my old frames, and needed a quick replacement. The very knowledgeable sales associate carefully explained my options on getting new lenses & a frame -- and they were ready for me in an hour. They fit perfectly! Excellent quality and customer service!

Couldnt find the location on google maps search. Locations is outside the main mall closer to the gas station. Plenty of parking.The most friendly and professional eye exams I have received. They also have a wide range of selections of frames from all kinds of name brands.

I was very happy with my exam and the fitting of my new glasses. I prefer Ray-Ban and I would have like to have more of there product to choose from.

I love my new glasses. Amber picked them out for me. I told her that I wouldnt have chosen them myself... but they are perfect. I smile every time I look in the mirror. Highly recommend Veo Optics. They are extremely helpful and capable. Awesome selection as well. Its a pleasure to get new glasses.

Inexperienced, and terrible customer service. I should of listened to the reviews. Please consider employing techs who know how to use machines correctly. Doctor was nice, friendly, and experienced. Make sure they inform you of exactly what your getting and what your paying for before it all adds up at the check out.ALSO: They are not concerned about their patients instead the money they make off exams, and overpriced glasses/ lenses.

They saved our vacation! My son forgot his contacts and the manager Brenda went way out of her way to find the exact lenses he needed and we got the lenses and ended up getting a new supply at a great price. Ill definitely use LensCrafters now in Arizona and I wish I lived in Santa Barbara so I could go to this location!

Ive been wearing glasses for years and Ive never been able to see better. I will never go anywhere else. I can see for miles. Super friendly. Very helpful. I loved everyone there. If youre thinking about going to a different place dont.

I do not recommend this place to anyone. Tag team service was awful. They ran my insurance, saw that my visit would be out of pocket, then withheld that information until after the appointment. They also upsold a contact exam that I did not want or need ($55 expense). During the exam, they tried to convince me that my teenagers eyes needed to be dialated. When I asked if it was necessary, they said it was only recommended if I cared about my childs eyes. Then came the $260 quote for replacement lenses (no frames). After calling around, I realized they charge 200-300% more than everyone else in town. I will not be giving these people any more of my money.

Very disappointed. I had an appointment and arrive 4 mins late. I was told that I was late and I would need to reschedule because the doctor was seeing another patient. I would have been on time if the road was not closed. But seriously, four minutes.

I received an email about an appointment from their associated optometrist office (same suite), Buena Ventura Optometry. I received a reminder prior to my confirming. In the reminder email I drilled down to confirm and was redirected to reschedule. I called to see why. Oh, your time slot was given to someone else. me, But the reminder email was sent just last night. Answer, I dont know why that email was sent. We gave you time slot to someone else. Guess its time to find an optometrist who can keep their appointments with patients. And that means another place for glasses if that is the business model Lens Crafters believes is appropriate.

Over several years Ive been happy with glasses I purchased from Lenscrafters at La Cumbre. But this year topped them all. I bought a regular pair and sunglasses and promptly lost the regular pair. They helped me replace the lost pair finding the exact frames which had to be ordered and got them to me right away - with a discount to help offset my having to buy them again! Couldnt be happier.

Very very poor customer service. The doctor and eye exam was ok. The people who were selling just was out of this world useless. Saw a frame I liked, found online for half price actually it was about 60% lower! My suggestion? Go to them, get your prescription (if you want) try on their glasses, then order somewhere else. I am not going back, good thing I got my prescription and now can go any where to fill it.Plus I was told, I asked too many questions! Just like another visitor was told, WAIT! If you want to go back to elementary school where you were yelled at, go visit this store.

Made an appointment to come in and get contacts. Was very clear on which brand I needed once I got there and they put me through the entire process before the doctor came in a told me that she couldn’t fit me for them but that she could fit me other “recommended brands”. The doctor even agreed that the Oasys was the best daily but didn’t have them. What a waste of 45 minutes.

The doctor was VERY poor. He couldn’t be bothered to understand what was causing my vision problems and was very haphazard and rushed in my exam. In the end, he said that he could not improve my vision with glasses and referred me to an opthamologist for a consultation about cataract surgery. A waste of money.I decided to get a second opinion and was delighted that Dr Stephanie Burris at Optometry Care of Santa Barbara gave me a very careful exam, explained everything and has been able to prescribe new glasses that greatly improve my vision and reduce my symptoms and says I am not a candidate for surgery. I will never go back to LensCrafters and wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Burris! (Also, the noise level in LensCrafters was unbearable. It is no wonder the staff couldn’t think straight!)

The poor customer service is obvious and it is mentioned in all thier bad reviews. They care more about money than about patients. Find some place else

Never again! My wife and myself both scheduled appointments, had exams and purchased one pair of glasses each. Tag team sales that was a poorly refined effort by a couple of youngsters that was comical. Just wanted to make our purchases and get out. Waited 3+ weeks to take delivery, beyond promised lead time. I purchased glasses with a pair of premium frames that lost an ear piece a few weeks later and lens that would focus no further than about 12 from my eyes?I dont want anything (return) from Lens Crafters after my experience to the point re purchasing glasses elsewhere. Not recommended. Pissed!

First time getting glasses yesterday and the Dr along with the staff was extremely professional, helpful and allowed me as much time and space needed picking out frames. So very happy with this place!

So I read all the reviews and I was hesitant to make an appointment. I had a checkup here in 2011 for eyeglasses and because their price was much better than other places for the contact lens exam, I decided to use them again. After all, I had not been unhappy with my first experience.My experience this time was nothing less the EXCEPTIONAL. I was taken fairly close to my appointment time, went through all the pre-tests with the tech, and then met with Dr. Karen Barbarello. I was totally impressed with the updated equipment they had and the Doctor was very concerned and helpful. I explained in detail what I was experiencing with my sight and contacts and what I wanted to achieve.Dr. Barbartello was very attentive and for the first time in 4 years I was able to read using both eyes. I have been doing mono vision, right eye for close-up and left for distance, but since the Toric lenses were not 30 day continuous wear as was the right eye, I never bothered with the distant Toric at all. When I read anything, I had to close my left distance eye and read with only my right.Between Dr Barbartello and the new computerized lens correction equipment, I, for the first time in over 20 years can see crystal clear with both eyes open with 30 day continuous wear contacts and have no need to get Lasik. I am incredibly happy.Since I seldom wear glasses anymore, I usually get them at the least expensive place as possible. Frames are of little importance to me. I also fine it easier and faster to order my contacts online as I do with nearly everything these days. BTW, I am 65 and have many decades of experience with doctors of all types and do not just revere them because of the Dr. in front of their name. When I truly find an exceptional provider of any sort, I like to pass on the word. Dr. Karen Barbartello is one of these.

Poor customer service. Spoke to a rep on the phone who confirmed I was scheduled for a certain time. When I arrived on time, the eye doctors were gone for the day and there was no record of me in their schedule. If they cant get a simple appointment right, why should I trust them with my eyes?
