I went here after I got into an accident and I couldnt be happier. The front desk staff was great along with the estimator. Chanel was the one who helped me out and kept me updated with everything that was going on. I took my car in to get my bumper fixed, they replaced it quick and looks brand new. A rated service! They were professional and found what exactly was needed to be replaced after my collision. Turns out my car had to be totaled anyways due to the value of the car being about the same in cost for damages but this shop made that transition so smooth with my car insurance. They know theyre stuff!

I had them work on my wife’s car after she got into a little fender bender. Great service quality work and very friendly.

I got hit and run so i had to go through all this trouble because someone else! But akins made sure I didn’t had any issues with my repairs. They took care of me since day one, made sure I was updated on a regular basis and that i understood everything that was going on with the repairs. This place is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My car got broken into last month and AAA sent me to get my window replaced at a different place and it turned out there was more damage. I took my car to Akins to get an estimate and repair and theyve been super helpful in explaining the process and setting everything up for me. I just dropped off my car today and a car rental and pickup was arranged for me. The staff here is wonderful and accommodating. I am also receiving text alert and status updates. Looking forward to seeing how the repair goes when I pick up my car next week. The experience has been positive so far and based on that I would recommend this center.Update: Car repair was done in 7 days and looks great. Communication was amazing as well. Received frequent updates about the status and also from Chanel who was always ready to answer my questions. Quality of the repair is good. The leather seat repair looked a little bit obvious and didnt blend well with the original seat but was told that it could take a few days to set in and blend. They told me to bring the car back in 30 days and they will polish it up for me after the material sets in. Great service and friendly staff with full itemized receipt. I received outstanding customer service at Akins! I was walked through the whole process by Michelle, who went above and beyond to explain everything to me regarding the process I had to take with the insurance for handling my repairs and I could tell she genuinely cared about any concerns I expressed. Santiago was also great at explaining to me the repairs made to my car once I went to pick it up. It was ready sooner than expected! Akins Auto Body on Reed Street has incredible customer service and great quality body work on the cars! Chanel and Liz went above and beyond in helping me from getting all the paperwork and calls with my insurance company handled without my involvement to the point of delivering my car to a shop closer to my home. They kept me updated often with the progress. My car looked brand new after they handed it back to me.

No one wants to visit a collision center, but if you need to, this repair shop that I have had two different vehicles at is full of amazingly kind and competent staff who are sensitive to the fact that repairs or collisions can be highly stressful. They do all in their power to make your life a bit easier in the midst of such from a pleasant waiting room to quick phone responses to helping with bags to clear out a vehicle and calling the insurance company for you.

I have used the services at Atkins Collision Center on three separate occasions. My brother and I are very attached and careful with our truck and when some damage happens to our truck we always return to Atkins.Our truck has been involved in two traffic collisions from the back and one hit-and-run on the driver side. We have need body work and re-finishing each time.Everytime the team at Atkins has put in a lot of effort, hard work and attention to details to make not only our truck look great again, but, our experience great too. The office team always does great job helping us with our insurance and keeping us inform. The repair team always amazes us with their attention to detwils, repairs and re-finishing- the truck looks brand new with no signs of the damage. Also, because this is our work truck, we really appreciate the quick turn around time from dropping our truck off to getting it fixed out of the shop- usually when a week. Finally, we really appreicate the extra mile Atkins does by giving our truck a really nice car wash and detail cleaning/polish-up job everytime- they honestly do a better job then any other car wash/polish company we have tried.All in all, my brother and I would highly recommend Atkins to anyone in need of car/truck: body work, re-finishing, repairs after an accident, collision, hit-and-run, or vandalism. We never regret coming to Atkins and always leave satisfied and confident in their work. Hands down, the best experience I could possibly have had considering my situation. My car was scratched from the middle of the front passenger door all the way to the back bumper and Akins took care of it within a week. Everything was replaced/fixed as promised and my car looks just as new. They even cleaned/detailed the hell out of it so when I got it back, it was like the first day I drove it home from the dealer. Very satisfied with the work from Akins shop and if I were to ever be in an accident again I would bring my car here.

I have been coming here for all my repairs. Service is on point. When they say your car will be done on certain date its done on that date. I took my car in on tuesday and they were honest in telling you if there are any other damages to the car and estimate on the repairs if more need to be done. They work with you not against you. Mr santiago and the service team are the best! They actually care about your car even after the repair. I just got my car back today. Took only four days and my car is good as new. They are straight forward when it comes to your car. They dont beat around the bush like some other places. I highly recommend akins to anyone that need their car fixed.

I brought my car, a Hyundai Santa Fe, after a collision on back passenger side. My car was brand new when accident happened as I had it for only about a week. It took about a couple of weeks to get in queue for repairs, which seemed a bit longer, but hey, if they are busy, means they have clients.The stuff was always courteous, so no complains on this side. I was called to get back my car after about 3 weeks in the shop. They called me later on to tell me there was some damage they just noticed to the back passenger window and it should be replaced. I was in a hurry as I had to travel to LA next day and wanted my car back, so agreed with them to replace it after I am back.When I arrived there, I have noticed about 7 scratches on drivers door and to the driver side front. They were very easy to spot, as the car was brand new.They apologized for it, and promised they will repair them. However, the fact that I had to notice them instead of their own QA people, did not boost my confidence.I drive to LA, I come back, bring car in the shop, and again get a call after several days that the car is ready to pick-up. Said and done. This time I do not return the rental like last time, but go directly there to inspect the car. I look where the scratches were, and they were gone. Phew, finally I say, I get to drive my new car. But hey, lets take a look also at the window replacement, as the rubber surrounding the window was also a little loose last time and asked them to stick it better. So window looked OK, rubber OK, but as I look closely to the window frame I notice a paint chip. So here we go again: they say sorry, I have to jump in the rental again and drive back to work. They said it might be done by the end of day and I ask them to give me an email or call about the status so I can come in the morning before taking my kids to daycare and pick it up.I did not get any message, so I call their office 1st thing in the morning. The lady there says she doe not know the status, and that itll take a couple of hours till somebody who knows gets there. I ask them to message me as soon as that happens. They did that and let me know itll be done later that day.Ok, here we go yet again. I get the phone call that the car was ready and that both my adviser and his manager looked at the car and all was good this time. I go, inspect the car...chip is gone and do not see any additional scratches on the car. I look closer at the window, and see that one of the plastic pieces that sits in the window corner was scratched. I say, I want my car back, even if i was upset about that. They say, look, well order the piece, call you back and put it in quickly for you.Never happened, and it has been a month. If they wouldve kept their word I probably wouldve give them 2 starts. Last week I looked more closer at the plastic corner, pushed it a bit, and also notice the paint is chipped underneath :(. Now, also the rubber at the window that I asked them to stick better started to come off again.Not a good experience for me and lots of lost time, which I do not really have and measured in doing extra hours for work because of it. What would be my confidence that underneath the car body, that looks fine, all is fixed properly, when their QA team failed to notice scratches/chips/unstuck rubber again and again? Youll be the judge of that!
