Brought my car in for an oil change and a diagnostic for what sounded like I lost my muffler. It had completely rusted through (from years of living in a snowy/salted roads state) and he had the part ordered and on my car from a local place within 24hours. Most importantly to me, he took me seriously, gave a fair price (called a few other places/looked up online while I was waiting to compare), didnt give me the you need to replace the air filter and timing belt shake-down, showed me what he found and promised to have it done the next day - perfectly on time. Will definitely be bringing my Subie here for a long time and sending family/friends here too.

My friends suggested me this place so I didnt hesitate and even brought here my husband’s car a few months ago. He charged us over $600 for breaks and the window in my car. He apparently didnt fix the car’s alignment and the quality of his work with a window now after just three months it doesnt even close. This is exactly what I wanted to be fixed but I am not sure if he even tried. As far as my husband’s car, he had a problem with his AC unit, and Shan told him that the car is old. He is right, it is old but still fixable. The staff also was very terrible with COVID safety regulations wearing no masks in the room full of people. I feel very disappointed for my wasted time and money.

Just want to start of by saying the Mr. Singh is an amazing mechanic. I have a 2009 Mercedes S550 which was making noise and was not driving correctly. I, first, took it to the dealership to get it diagnosed. They said that the axle needed to be replaced and it would cost around $1200 to fix. Not having any intentions to pay that much, I went to a mechanic that was a certified mercedes mechanic and he, also told me that it was my axle and it would cost around $1000 to fix. I made an appointment with the shop and as I was going home from El Camino, I saw Shans sign which said Mercedes below his name. I went to his shop and he took a look at my car to see whats wrong. After checking where the sound was coming from, he told me that my ball joint were bad and that my axle was fine. Long story short, he replace the ball joint and my car runs and sound great. He saved me a lot of money by not upselling like the dealership and that mechanic were doing and I will take my car to him everytime something is wrong with my car.

I brang my Mercedes-Benz 2002 E-Wagon to Shuns Auto Service today Oct /29/2019 and changed oil and fixed breaks replacement and it was cheap and very good. They were very polite and kind. He gave me $30 discount. I was happy with my car fixed. Thank you again.

Shan Auto Service is not licensed through the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair. My experience with them has been a nightmare, I wasnt able to get any insurance information from them to make a claim for the damage done to my car.
