I ordered some almond tarts back in late March online. I show up 2 days later, the Baker said she didn’t make them, miscommunication. I email the owner and he said sorry with quarantine going on stuff is crazy. I’m a very understanding and chill person but they did this to me two years ago same thing with almond tarts. I ordered them, they didn’t make them. Back then the owner personally delivered them to my house which was nice. Kind of sucks because I’m trying to support a small business during these times and they just ignore me. I really wanted my almond tarts.
Love their breads and biscoitos!! Its been my weekend treats to share with extended family recently. Once a bag from this place gets opened, its very difficult to stop until Its all gone. ^^ Its a lovely family owned business well worth supporting!
Do not order from this bakery! I ordered on April 5th and it is now June 9th and I have not received anything. I have tried to contact them multiple times via email, text, and social media with no response. There is no excuse to take someones money and not deliver. I have seen this complaint from others also. Terrible customer service, actually non-existent! Buyer beware!!! I wish I could give them 0 stars. I also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Bakery with nice gesture. Today I went to buy a slice of cake for my wife. I was told they dont do it but the guy there gave me a samples of what they do for FREE(the samples weigh a pound or more I guess). I really appreciate their customer care and will definitely go there again. My wife said everything tasted great.
Wonderful bakery! My boyfriend and I are from Rhode Island and we absolutely LOVE this bakery (especially the cinnamon sweet bread.) The owners are genuinely kind. Definitely support local!!
Love the sweet bread rolls and Cinnamon loaves. My favorite are the malasadas! Too bad the mall didnt make better renovations when they remodeled after Mervyns left. This side of the mall is so hidden.
I am quite a snob when it comes to good portuguese baked goods. Having grown up in a 100% portuguese home and a grandmother that could bake the socks off of anyone. This guy has got some gifts. I have never had sweet bread with cinnamon in it, but that stuff is addicting. The sweet bread regular is awesome, and he has got some other of my childhood favorites as well. You can also order online for pickup in store. This will definitely become a regular go to for our family.
I ordered online for store pickup and went there and they were closed and never heard back from them. PayPal contacted them and they did not response to them so I will be getting my money back. Before that I went to there store and they were closed that time too, I should of known better since they were not open during business hours. I seen them on the news on television so thats how I knew about them. The guy said he did not want to sell his business but I think he should after taking my money and I got nothing to show for it. Hopefully he closes or the business is sold. To many excuses on his phone recordings.
