Started out fine, but quickly devolved into an awful experience that still isn’t over. Good initial follow up, and took 50% deposit on ~15 doors. Received part of my order, but I had to reach out repeatedly to get updates. Order wasn’t ready when said it would be, was still working on part of it even after coordinating a pick up date and time. At this point, after multiple trips to their shop, I am still waiting on the rest of my order, 4+ months later. Covid delays aside, no follow up, no responses to email, voicemail or texts. I have tried to be patient and accommodating, but enough is enough. Only way to reach Chris has been to drive down and try to randomly catch him on his way in/out of the shop (that has since moved). Don’t waste your time unless you have a lot of it. Given my experience, their bad reviews are legitimate and earned. I ignored them since I was referred by a family member, but that was clearly a mistake.
Chris and Juan took great care of me. Did a small custom job for me. Thank you again guys.
Premier Door Services is a locally owned custom door shop that does great work! Why buy what everybody else is buying at the big box store when you can get a custom door for less and have it installed correctly the first time?
Went to the shop, ordered a bifold door. Per Chris, our door had arrived a few weeks later and he would deliver it “this” week. That was over a month ago. Since then have called and written to him several times and there is no response at all. Can’t understand how they are still in business with such poor customer service.
We were looking to update our front door and found Premier Door Services in San Jose 5853 Winfield Boulevard, San Jose, CA first started out great we went to their small shop looked at some doors and Found the perfect one to fit our home. so we then placed our order. We paid for our front door In full that same day And was told it would be about 6-8 weeks until we can get our front door installed. So we waited and 8 weeks came and gone, we received no call and when someone would answer the phone finally we kept getting the run around. later then we were told our door was on back orders In which it was fine. If someone could have communicated that in the first place. So we waited some more Now 6 months has passed since we first ordered our front door on July 29 2017 we were calling for more updates and then we were told that our paperwork was lost and that they moved buildings and that we would get our front door in another 4 to 6 weeks. So we finally got our front door put in February 2018. The installer Mark told us that he would come back to finish up the front door because there’s a big gap between the front door and our floor, which there was never one he said he would fix it when our screen door came in. Well, now we our in May 2018. Please who ever is looking for a front door or a screen doors, please stay away from this Business unless you’re okay to wait 2 to 5 years for completion. Worst business ever do not know how they’re still in business. There receptionist is the worse she never knows nothing. It takes weeks for them to return your phone call.

We were told it would be about 6-8 weeks until we can get our front door installed. We then gave them a check for $6800.00 now owing them $1765.00. Well, they then told use it would take two weeks to get the glass. I have sent them numerous emails and calls and advised them that I would seek legal advice with no response. It is now Sept 21st and I have decided to have the transom glass installed by another company. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN AND WOULD ADVISE OTHERS NOT TO USE THEM........There receptionist is the worse she never knows nothing. It takes weeks for them to return your phone call.
If I could give them the middle finger I would. Im a local contractor in the area and use many sub-contractors to complete my remodels and new homes. I use another local door shop and thought Id give Premier Doors a try. I ordered doors for a job in Willow Glen and after three months they finally showed up. I was given several apologies and a small refund for the wait and asked to please use them again. Like a total idiot I did...I ordered several doors and transom windows in May of 2018. I was told 4-5 weeks and gave a deposit. 5-6 weeks passed and no communication. When I called I was told the wrong doors arrived and they had to be returned and to expect another 4-6 weeks. When the doors were finally delivered after 12 weeks, they were all the wrong swing. His employees that delivered the doors confirmed how they view the swing and the doors were wrong. I again was given an apology and that they would Fix it. I have been a contractor in the area for over 24 years and have never had such poor service. During the entire time up till then I had only heard from Chris once. Jemmetta, who is in the office some of the time, knows nothing. During my initial order, she had to defer to Chris for help due to not knowing door sizes or swings. I should have ran then.After 5 1/2 months, Chris called to say the transom windows might arrive that week. I told him we did not want the windows as it had been so long and he stated, No problem, Ill get rid of them. On 11/30/2018, I received an invoice for the balance minus the transom windows and another credit for the wait. I planned on paying and moving on however on 11/15/2018 I revived another email stating that since I had not paid the balance he was going to place a lien on my property and send it to collections. I called him and stated it had only been two weeks since the invoice. When I stated I was going to write a review, he said Well I can do the same to you. I had to remind him that I was the client. I will be wearing a Premier Door Sucks shirt next week...
