My name is Bobby and am a more than satisfied customer of safelite. Especially to the staff at the Santa Maria Location. The Representative (Jacob) was sincere helpful and actually sat and listened to the extraordinary situation I was faced with. He then spoke with the Man in Charge (Danny) together they both made me feel understood with empathy. I no longer believed there was customer service this great. I was alone in the dark about how to handle the situation with my auto glass. Safelite kept my vehicle (SAFE) and shed positve (LITE) on my negative auto glass repairs. 💯

Did good work. At first tried to work me on the price because Im a girl, but did work on time as scheduled and did good work. I had an emergency window to replace and they got me in same day.

Very thorough and detailed.I had previously been dreading today, but it was quick, painless and he has a superb friendly personality which i personally appreciate in a situation that can be a bit distressing. The only difficulty I had was the wait time on the phone when I called them. they are efficient with their time, and check carefully around any window being replaced for rust, before they even begin the task of repairing or replacing it. their mannerisms are friendly and professional and they are willing to answer any questions before they begin the job on location of the vehicle.

These people are just wonderful, they take care of you like family . All the employees there are just very friendly. They got our glass in and in no time. I would very much recommend these fine people.

The glass install went great but they charged my card to a different work order. They said it will be refunded in a couple of days. Which is all good. It only took them 4 times of asking for my card. Which made me feel super uncomfortable.This morning they charged me again another $250. Its a glitch in the system they said. Thats some BS. Im calling user error all the way. They need to pay attention to what they are doing. They now owe me over $500..

GREAT experience! They showed up on time. Charged me exactly what they said they would. The technician was polite and professional. And get this: he came back a couple of hours later because I gave him a good tip, he wanted to make sure I didnt make a mistake and give him too much!!I would highly recommend Safelite to ANYBODY needing new glass for there car or truck. Im on disability, so funds are tight. The price was VERY reasonable.

The staff across the board was not only incredibly professional, thorough but helpful and friendly. I had a hell of a time with my insurance and they made it so easy. The techs know what theyre doing. As someone who does a lot of work on their own car, its easy to spot a shop that cuts corners. Safelite in Santa Maria knows what theyre doing. Install of my new windshield was super quick and made it so easy for me. Marg was super friendly and helped me so much. Would reccomend Safelite to any and all friends and family

This is one of the worst firms in the auto industry, which is saying a lot.They replacing my car windshield, on 11/09/17, but when removing the tape, tore a strip of the cars paint off. The technician, Norman (ID 1518-149) was nice, took photos and said that theyd pay for the damage, and to call anytime even outside the warranty period because he had already reported it. I felt in no rush to call them and I was extremely busy at the time.However, when I got around to calling them, they never called back, they always said the person I needed wasnt available, they wouldnt take a message, etc....After trying to get a resolution for over 6 months, Im finally giving up and just leaving the review that they deserve, so that everyone will know to stay clear of them.This is absolutely NOT a company Id hire again.

The ease of having them come to you was amazing. Chris, my technician was great. And now I have a beautiful, crystal clear windshield that I can see out of again. Not to mention, new windshield wipers! Yay! I love it!

Always on time and always do a great job. I use Safelite for my personal vehicles as I do for work vehicles.

Would not recommend. They put a windshield in for me and when it finally rained, I ended up with a lake in my car from it (not exaggerating. I had a 1 puddle in my driver side front and back when I went to climb in to go to work one morning). I had to tear out all my carpet and padding, sop it all up, and dump a ton of cat litter in there to make sure I got all of it out with the fan running all night. Took a few weeks to fully dry out. I took it back and they had the wrong service date and glass pane number in the record for me, which is ridiculous. How do you mess something so basic up? While I appreciate that they were honest with me that it was their fault (their previous glue did not set properly in two places, which is where the water was coming in from) and they did replace the glue for free a few months out of the warranty, it took a few hours out of my morning and was a pain between arguing that it was the windshield and getting them to take a look at it, getting them to believe the one on the car was indeed the windshield they installed (like, who drives a crappy car like mine and has the money to replace their windshield every few months?), and waiting to have the new one replaced... Such a hassle! The new windshield is good, though. They said they stopped using the old glue and the one they use now is better, but it hasnt rained again after last year yet, so well see... 1 star for owning up to the mistake, 1 star since the windshield does seem to be holding up. Still, my car will never be the same after getting flooded and its not like Ill ever be compensated for it if it rusts through. 3 stars off for that + bad experience over all with their service.

I was very dissatisfied with Safelite AutoGlass in Santa Maria, CA and DO NOT recommend it to anyone (be aware).They send an incompetent technician to fix a minor chip on the windshield but, he cracked the windshield. The technician who came out was a new employee (maybe without prior experience).He gave me a waver to sign that if the windshield cracks SafeLite AutoGlass won’t be responsible for it. I believe SafeLite is responsible just because they sent out a technician who just started working there. They should have sent a technician with experience and have the new guys follow to watch and learn.If you decide to use SafeLite AutoGlass (I don’t recommend them), make sure to check the technician’s credential.

It says theyre open but they have a sign on the window that says theyre closed.

The service wasnt all that great. It was raining the day they came out and they made it out like it was my responsibility to find cover for them to put the new window in. So I had to take time from work to find a spot which I did and then the window was wrong. So they had to order a new window and reschedule. Rescheduled for the next day and I get an afternoon appointment which doesnt work very well for me but what choice do I have. I need my window and its been raining. I would think that if you messed up somebodies window then you would reschedule for as early as possible not drag it on. I was very unpleased and will probably not use them again.

Honest work. Problem was, once they saw a small piece of rust, they aborted the repair. They dont repair rust damage.

Took a week to get a appointment then guys showed up bent the regulator inside of the door and then told me was already broken and took motor and regulator would be a week so I purchased a new window and regulator assembly the next day and had it put in in less than 45 minutes and for less than half the cost
