Going to the cable place isnt always fun, but Comcast has really gone all out with this store. Its a brand new, state of the art facility with all of the fanciest technology on display. Its clean and bright. The staff is terrific and safety protocols are in place. Best of all you can schedule an appointment online and get a text when they are ready for you. The hours are open later to make it easier to come in.
The old location was better...in and out. This new location is basically a Verizon store full of phones and tablets and too many people. Soonest I could be seen to drop off outdated equipment was by appointment 2 hours later!!!

Avoid like the plague! The 800 number is automated, so good luck getting customer service. The hours on the door for this store are wrong. And even after sitting in the store for an hour and being told everything is fixed, the in store customer service failed. I regret ever signing up for Xfinity!
I wanted to update my internet service so I when to the Santa Maria store and was helped by Jennifer. She was so nice and helpful, she had me all setup in 5 minutes. The experience was awesome especially compared to calling in which was really frustrating. So if you need help go see Jennifer!

Had to wait a bit for service but you can make an appointment which I did not have there are no chairs but only had to wait about 5 minutes the staff was friendly and helpful and knowledgeable and did offer to bring a chair the process was quick

The people there deserve the rating, not Comcast. They get to see thier customers two ways. Happy when carryng out equipment to get hooked up and when they get first bill! Employees stay friendly and reassuring, but you are still gonna pay what Comcast deems what you owe them! Ive been with Comcast since 1972,(started with Sonic Cable, bought by Comcast), and turned in my equipment and paid my final bill. Like the employees but screw Comcast!

It must have been my lucky day. I just signed up for internet over the phone. I was told wait an hour and I should be able to pick up my modem at the store. I drove to the location walked in, talked to an employee, my order was ready, and I walked out in less than 10 min. I read other reviews that were not so good but like I said..... it must have been my lucky day. Ill take it 👍👍.

Its very clean and modern looking but the customer service is lacking. There is a clear disconnect between the Xfinity website, call center and local stores. I was told I could pick up my equipment before I moved and when I arrived for my appointment was told no. Then they said yes, and then a very friendly and helpful manager sadly said the system wouldnt let him.
Jesus worked hard to correct an online order. When he couldnt, he gave me an account credit. Long wait but good resolution.
I am an Xfinity customer that wants to cancel the WiFi and basic cable service that I am currently receiving. Xfinity does not divulge the phone number of the local store on Google when a search is done for the nearest Xfinity store. So you can’t speak with an employee at the local store unless you actually go there, which I don’t have time to do. The website is nearly useless, as well. I attempted to access my account information after logging into the website. A message came up that indicated I did not have access to that information. Information about the account that is in my name, and a subscription that I am paying for! I attempted to utilize the ‘chat’ feature on the website. But the person that represents Xfinity in the chat room isn’t a human- it’s a ‘bot’. And the bot is also useless for this task. So I called the 1-800 number to speak with a customer service representative. The 1-800 system is also fully automated. The message that I heard from the automated attendant indicated the wait to speak with an actual human is “between 50 minutes and one hour and fifteen minutes”.I’m going to cancel the debit card that Xfinity charges monthly to pay for my subscription. That’s not a good way to cancel the subscription. But they’ve set the system up to maintain the subscription irregardless of what the customer wants. And after I finally get Xfinity out of my checking account, I will never do business with them again.

Internet disconnects often and never send help. They always take 1 hour just to solve a simple question due to a stupid bot that answers the calls terrible service

Went in today and was greeted by an employee who took my name to check in. Waited only about 15 minutes before my name was called. Came in to get internet kit. Representative who helped me got me in and pretty quick. Had no problem on my first visit.

Just to help save you some time- all comcast stores are closed until May 25th or 26th. Customer service agent was super frustrated by comcast not updating their website or google pages to reflect this. Hope this saves you some time!
No one seems to know anything, all they do is trying to sell me something, they keep increasing their service, even if you sign up for a 2 year contract, lock in a price, well they still increase it voiding their own contract. In a word, the greatest rippoff ever!!!

Wow, I hate the new Apple Store type service. ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK. Welcomed by the attacking greeter who will try and get you to wait an extraordinarily long time to speak with a person. Who doest really know anything that couldnt be derived from their website. I was so put off by my experience that I am refusing to get In Home Internet until an alternative can be found.
Never thought Id give Comcast a 5-star review for anything, but I wanted to give credit to the gentleman who handled my equipment return. I think his name was Andrew - young guy with a high top fade. Saw me coming, opened the door, and immediately asked if I needed help. Whole transaction took seconds. This is in contrast to the nearby Verizon store, where I was completely ignored last week. Im still no fan of Comcast as a company, but props to the local store for doing retail right.
They just want money. No matter what seems to be the issue it doesn’t matter because they just ask for more money.

I was directed by an Xfinity technician on the phone to take my faulty unit to my local Xfinity office. However, that office is closed. Unable to get response from Xfinity as what to do.

Never been to this store. However, Xfinity WiFi is a government data mining service that also provides WiFi. Meaning anytime you see ‘xfinity’ in your WiFi list, they have downloaded all information on your phone without consent so they can target you for ads. This is illegal and unethical.If you are going to do this you should at least offer the WiFi for free and ask for consent before you data mine people’s personal information.

I gave the Santa Maria Xfinity Store 2 stars because they seem friendly, but i just went in to purchase a smart watch after going back and forth deciding if i should get it or not. when i first went in i spoke to Jorge he said that the one i wanted wasnt in stock but he could order it and have it shipped to my house, then i went in again but they were busy so i texted him and he told me again he could order it for me. I went in today and talked to someone else, the girl told me she couldnt order it. I asked why and she said because its an accessory and cant be ordered. I told her what Jorge said and she told me she wasnt sure what he meant by that. Im confused, i dont think the right hand knows what the left hand is doing, this is not the first time Xfinity employees cant or wont or not trained enough to provide the level of custumer service they claim they have. I wouldnt be surprised if they start loosing clientele in the mobile department.
All they want is money they increased my bill with out my consent and charged themselves from my bank account !! I called they hung up and even went to the store to talk with the manager. Horrible I don’t recommend.

For making an appointment in advance each time I have to visit, I have waited at least 45 minutes anyway. Not considerate to those who have to take time off of work to take care of business.Furthermore, the gigabit internet offer is a lie - and no, I dont mean that its a lie because the person working with us kept saying gigabyte not gigabit (look up the dramatic difference) - they mean up to gigabit meaning that you can theoretically achieve gigabit speeds at some point, but after 6 months I have yet to achieve that goal.

This is for XFINITY ON DEMAND. It is like playing pong compared to wifi internet. You have to seach all over again each time you just want to watch the next episode of the same show. It doesnt even keep last title you were searching for in memory. Someone from this time period needs to upgrade the INFINITY search capability. What a giant waste of time.
We have had Comcast for a very long time. Not really by choice either since they don’t offer much in our area and direct tv isn’t better. The amount they charge is ridiculous. And now it seems like anytime you want to actually watch or catch up with shows you have to pay for all of them. What good is having on demand if you don’t actually get to use it. And our bill is always changing. We call and complain and they somewhat fix and then it gets worse. We have the sports package and don’t actually gets the sports we want. We pay for things we don’t use or even want. Such a scam. The guys aren’t even that helpful either. However, if we didn’t need Internet we probably wouldn’t have it but these days society forces you to need these things like internet because of school and other things like bills who you have to go through the emails or things like that. Honestly, it all just seems like a scam so people can make money. Get rich and screw over everyday people who are barely making ends meet. Since we do have cable, and pay the outrageous amount we do, things should work better. We even pay for dvr yet it doesn’t work? Get it together Comcast or xfinity or whatever you want to call yourself now!

If you want cable that cuts out loses the picture and blocks of stations go out at the same time Xfinity is for you. I switched over to Xfinity from Directv over a year ago and found out how poor quality Xfinitys equipment is will be switching back to Directv shortly better packaging better equipment I may pay more but you get what you pay for with Xfinity which is lousy internet and cable
