Very confused by the high ratings. Pad Thai tasted like it was in some weird tomato sauce. Drunken noodles didn’t have any sauce and the veggies were so over cooked. The sweet and sour sauce that came with the appetizer was literally hot pink. Can’t comment on dine-in but I don’t recommend takeout

Absolutely amazing restaurant! We ordered takeout for thanksgiving dinner thinking they didn’t have indoor seating, but they welcomed us into their restaurant and provided phenomenal service. Plus, the food was delicious. We got the pad Thai, pad sew ewe, papaya salad, and fresh coconut drink. Everything was fantastic!

We enjoyed our vegetable curry and pork noodle dish. Very good food for reasonable prices. The owners were really friendly. Our dessert was home made coconut ice cream and mango, also amazing! Seating was pretty basic but it was just a cute small thai restaurant and excellent if you just want to eat a really tasty meal.

I cant believe someone would give this place less than 4 stars!! I would give them 6 stars⭐ if I could. I bet the gross wannabe Thai food down the street is responsible personally for the one star. I stopped by with friends, and I was so enchanted with this little business. They are absolutely delightful. Very attentive and customer oriented small family owned business. The vibe was like eating at grandma’s house, it as so cozy and so warm and welcoming!A sweet little old lady got our orders, and let me tell you, not once took a note from anyone, but knew exactly who ordered what! And I mean, not just our table of 6 ppl, but the rest too. It was so heart warming to see family members buzz around constantly, making sure everyone was happy, refilling glasses before we knew we needed it, so truly top notch and very customer oriented.Great location too, right on the corner, plenty parking, good amount of space inside, and fabulous food.I had the Combination Fried Rice, we had several soups, curry, everyone was rolling their eyes. Super wonderful lady! Friendly, understood me well, and took initiative to ask me the right questions so I got my food exactly how I like it. It looks odd from outside. It seems they have converted a house into a restaurant. We were not sure of going inside and trying food but we reached there around 8pm and almost all other restaurants were closing soon. I must say I am glad that i went ahead and tried their food. It was superb. It felt like we are eating home cooked food. Food was so flavourful and light. I will give them 5 star.

Good food and the sweetest owner. Food is a homemade version of what you are used too. Just like your mom, if she runs out of the normal noodles, she will substitute with other ones. No flavor lost. Nothing fancy just good food and an awesome owner.

Fed me well. I remember the duck, papaya salad, and pad keep mao and all were good.No complaints. Their menu is bigger than whats on the chalkboard. The chalkboard is their specialty higher priced items.

Thai hut is an amazing restaurant that exceeded our expectations. We were on a road trip needed a good place to eat. It was off highway 101 in Santa Maria, California. When we entered we found it to be a very comfortable place. The owners were one of the most friendliest that we have ever encountered. One of the owners who helped us, greeted us warmly and showed us to our seats. He was very polite and always had a smile on his face.The food came pretty quickly and it was incredible. We ordered vegetable red curry and it was amazing. It was truly an amazing experience. I would highly recommend this place. We would love to come again.

I went to Thai Hut Restaurant with my family, and it was the first time my parents were eating Thai, so obviously, I wanted them to love it (I myself am a big fan of Thai food). The place was just perfect and all of us loved the food and the service. The lady who was serving and managing the cash counter simultaneously, was really sweet.The decor and food both were amazing. The place is a family owned restaurant and serves authentic Thai food. They have some great vegetarian options as well.

My sister and I were in dire need for some tasty Thai food and Thai Hut hit the spot! We ordered the Thai eggs rolls, shrimp fried rice, chicken pad thai and an array of tempura vegetables. Of course, we ordered too much food and took the rest to-go and it was still tasty the next day. The older hostess/ waitress was so kind and friendly, that her hospitality alone made this an enjoyable meal for us. Also, dont be thrown off by the out-dated decor, it only adds to the authentic flavor. I recommend you stop by!

This has been one of my favorites for the past 20 years. Even after moving away I still try to come here every time I visit home! The pad woonsen (crystal noodles) is the best I can find, and I try ordering it at every Thai place I visit in the Bay Area! The Thai ice coffee is also divine.Service is always excellent and the owner always has a smile on her face. Love it!

I had high hopes as I really wanted some good Thai food. With great reviews I ordered for pickup. The service was great so he 2 star rating is exclusively based on the food. I felt like it had been reheated instead of fresh. It felt bland to the other thai Ive had. Enough so I couldnt even finish it.

It will take time to get your food, but itll be worth the wait. Amazing flavors. I shared soup, rice and the chicken with cashews. I asked for extra veggies in the chicken dish. The sauce was yummy.Its older inside and could use a makeover but the staff is super friendly, accommodating, and the food flavor more than makes up for it.

The food is just amazing and the service is awesome. The lady (which i’m assuming is the owner) who served us is just the sweetest woman ever. I wasn’t expecting such fast service as there was only one person serving everyone but we got our food almost right after we ordered it and it was AMAZING. Amazing food and great atmosphere. Very unassuming building but the pearl is in the inside. The waitress Ms Tu puts many waitresses half her age to shame with her ability to move about and get the food delivered to your table the taste and freshness of the food would cost twice as much at other restaurants.

Ive traveled in South Asia and the food is spot on. My favorite- they yellow Tofu vegetarian curry. A lot of vegetarian options here, along with meat dishes. Service is excellent.We have been going to Thai Hut for years. Food is always good with fresh ingredients and friendly service. We like the Chicken Pad See Ew, Thai Chicken, Thai Hut Fried Rice to name a few.

What a quaint little spot. Literally down the street from my girlfriends house, and we were greeted by a sweet lady who remembers my girlfriend quite well (evident by how much she loves the food). Calming atmosphere with a medium fish tank in the corner, some nice decorations and plants to give some life to the place. No music, but I am pretty sure I heard a fountain pouring... Food is excellent, the pad Thai was exquisite! Combination fried race was a MOUNTAIN. If youre in the mood for Thai, hit this spot up!

I arrive at this unique place from time to time as I love the good air that is unique to this place. The personel is exceptionally cordial and well trained. The service is exceptionally quick. Most important, the food they serve is perfect. I visited often and I was always pleased. The rate is reasobable. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

Not only do they know what we like to order, but they always make sure to send extra rice and a small bag of cookies whenever we order to-go.I cant recommend Thai Hut enough.

Every time I visit Santa Maria I have to eat at Thai Hut. I crave it! Their homemade noodles are so delicious. I think their yellow curry is the best Ive ever had. And the family who run this restaurant are some of the kindest people Ive ever met. I highly recommend it!

The host was extremely nice and made friendly small talk. The food was served in good sized portions. Closer to the end of the meal, the host brought us more white rice because she saw that we still had curry left. Overall a very good experience in the calm atmosphere.

They were so vegan/vegetarian friendly! The green curry, and golden noodles were always my favorite! But ALL their food is amazing. Probably one of my favorite restaurants in the world, and Ive been to 4 continents and over 20 countries.

This place is a true gem. My wife and I would eat here atleast once a month. The lady that works there is such a delight and took the time and interest in getting to know us. We moved away and this will be the place we miss the most. Our go to dishes where red curry and the Tom kah.

I was driving by on a road trip with my family and saw this place on the map. We decided to drop by. The building looked a little strange from outside, but was pretty welcoming inside-both because of the layout with decorations and the the lady that welcomed us was very nice. She made us feel comfortable, welcoming, and was very accommodating. We will definately go there again.

Very nice people. Tom Ka Gui soup is amazing. Good portions, Friendly service. Very hard working people who want to please. I only wish i could increase the dining room business. Although the chairs are a bit uncomfortable Id like to see more people in them.

Felt like I entered my grandmas home and ate her food cooked with care and love. Liked every thing we tried which was fried rice, curry fried rice, ginger stir fry, masaman curry, red curry, Thai ice tea and coconut shaved ice.

Man, hidden gem! I stopped by for dinner! The Thai food here is definitely amazing!

The host / waiter was very welcoming and nice, the prices were decent and the portions were good. The only complaint I had with was the barbecue pork and the Thai sausage tasteexactly the same becoming too overpowering drowning out the rest of the food.

Started going here once every few weeks for curry as it is the closest place besides SLO for curry. Not only is the curry delicious but so are the other things from the menu like the Thai Hut shrimp and tempura veggies. Moreover the staff is extremely hospitable serving sweet chai tea while we waited (we have only ordered take out so far but the establishment itself is very cozy). I highly recommend especially since we will continue to go to Thai Hut for a fix of some great Thai food.
