I know there are some poor reviews here on Google, but Ill talk about my own experience. Ive worked with Brian Lane(and continue to as he has been following up and checking in to make sure everything goes well(it is now Oct 10, and I purchased/drove off the lot on Sept 16), and he knew what he was talking about, originally presented with a large markup, but after discussion and expressing serious interest, they really made me an offer I couldnt refuse. Took the markup off and am super happy with my Mach-E GT Performance edition. I have had some technical issues with the digital/phone as key features, but they have been in communication and were working to fix it so that Im 100% satisfied. Really couldnt be more pleased. Thank you Brian and the SaMo Ford staff!

DO NOT PURCHASE WITH THEM. THE ABSOLUTELY WORST.We put in an order 2 months ago on the new truck that is coming out and they have no idea what they are talking about. You would think they would actually be happy you chose to buy with them and pay close attention to your order, but no. I was told my order had been placed, and I also paid the deposit and just come to find out 2 months later that Ive been waiting for something that was never ordered by the dealer. I cant express how disappointed I am. These people should not be working at a dealer. So unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and run from them.

I am completely appalled by the customer service. My wife and I called Santa Monica Ford only to be greeted by the most unprofessional and rude associate I have ever come across Natalie. Natalie at Santa Monica Ford not only mocked my wife, she was also condescending and rude when we asked simple questions in regards to an email we received from Ford regarding our vehicles. I do not suggest anyone go here if this is the level of service you get from them.

New management is breath of fresh air. Bought my car here and get my oil changed. They’re more convenient and cheaper than the oil change place which surprised me due to all the bad experiences I’ve had with other dealers. New electric mustangs are in too and look fun.

Not a good place to take company cars, on average our cars sit parked in the back lot for 20-45days untouched and unstarted which are verified by GPS and computer tracking information logs. they are returned caked in dust, infested with ants and with dead batteries. 97% vehicle is returned within days with same issue that was never fixed. Take your vehicle to Marina or El Segundo you will get better service!

Neither can stand the other. They claimed their telephone system was not working, on hold 15 minutes then disconnected, several messages left no call back, their computers down and mechanics at lunch was some of the explanations given. If they werent 10 minutes away I probably wouldnt return for Ford service. Although previous purchase was wonderful with great service but that was years ago. Overall extremely disappointing with their customer service.

Incompetent and unsafe service provided by service technicians under service manager, Troy. A head gasket blew on my 2018 Ford Edge while still under warranty and it took 6 months and almost 10 times of returning the vehicle for the car to be restored to working order. And it is still not. There is now a waterfall/gushing water sound behind the steering wheel indicative of a leak. When shared with Troy he said he could do not further and if I left the vehicle at the shop he’d call Ford and have it towed. I am taking the vehicle to another Ford dealer and plan to file a formal complaint against him. Not once did he get out of his office or chair to see the vehicle and carried himself in an extremely unprofessional manner. Avoid this service department at all costs and take it to another authorized Ford service department.

As of April 29th, they still have that vehicle and they jacked up the price of this vehicle by $5,000. Such scam artists. Might try to file something on that.Been a long time Ford owner (among few other brands too). And bought vehicles from here before among other locations. This last last experience will be the last time dealing with this β€œdealership”.**Also read that last little part on the bottom for useful information**.Went in about 2 weeks ago with an appointment to look at a particular vehicle.Was supposed to meet with someone named Bob to show us the vehicle and discuss everything. Went in and was introduced by some guy and told him that we had an appointment with Bob. He got Bob and started to discuss the vehicle with him. Not even a minute in he got someone else to deal with it. The new guy saw that we had a reservation to look at particular vehicle. Instead of showing us he decided to cancel the reservation and show us a vehicle that was different then what we came in for. Looked at it and sat in it but it wasn’t suitable for us. He kept pushing the car on us on how great it is even when we said no. Went back into the office and he started making snarky insults about us. Saying that we can’t afford the other vehicle, the vehicle is too expensive, that we are low income and poor people, among other mumbles. First off we can easily afford that vehicle or all of the vehicles on the lot if we wanted to. Second don’t label someone low income because you are insecure. Anyways he gave us the quote for the other vehicle that we didn’t want. And they still didn’t want to show us the other vehicle for unknown reasons. Then we left towards the used lot and it was still there. So I don’t know. A typical bait and switch.Days later, someone who is helping us with getting a vehicle came over and we set up a home test-drive for the previous Saturday. Tuesday or early Wednesday got a confirmation email from Iniz(?) a sales manager saying that they will see us that Saturday. Over the next few days got a few emails about leasing certain new vehicles and nothing else. Saturday came and an hour passed by the appointment with NO phone calls or emails. So we went down there again. The vehicle was still available when we went down there again. But no signs of the vehicle. Some older guy asked us what we were there for and we explained. He shook his head and basically had nothing to say. Talked to someone else which made us talk to the original guy again. The guy was still pushy on the other vehicle gave us the quote again. Long story short (without writing a book) he was making excuses on what happened to vehicle that day and was doing another bait and switch with another vehicle. Started mumbling stuff to the other employees about who knows what. Finally gave us a quote on the original vehicle we wanted but he added some random charges to it jack up the price by $2-3,000. And another sales guy (I believe) said to us that β€œwe don’t need your business and you can go elsewhere”. Eventually left empty handed and angry at them. Also while waiting, was looking at one of the GT500s and it appears that it was damaged. The splinter looks a little damaged in a couple spots, paint is starting to chip and peel off on the bottom of the door, and the rear fender looks uneven.If you look at Yelp, other review sites, Better Business Bureau you will see similar or same experiences as this. That’s why the BBB has a D- rating for this dealership.

Its a car dealer, maybe not a used car dealer feel but its certainly a place where you feel the undercurrent of a constant sales pitch between employees and victims...eh customers. If you are used to dealing with even Toyota and not even Lexus level of dealerships, going to a Ford Lincoln dealer there is this immediate look of drab decor and cramped space in the showroom, walking in I immediately felt like I was in the craftsman tools section of sears. Sure it might be a an all American product concept but it hasnt aged well or carries the same gravitas as it used to before the sexy competition from Germany and Japan. The three products I liked in the dealership will sell but probably not to local customers, I got the sense that high demand products like the Focus RS, GT350R and Continental just get bought by folks who dont even visit the dealership until the deal is made over the phone and then its just a matter of picking the car up.

Just purchased my first truck (2020 Ranger) and my first Ford at Santa Monica Ford. I cannot stress enough how easy they made the entire process. I lease a car every three years so I am familiar with Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, but Santa Monica Ford was by far the easiest process I have ever been through. Upon my arrival, Benny, the supervisor, was attentive and immediately made sure I was taken care of. Vernon, my sales guy, gave me a thorough overview of the truck and I felt I really knew the ins and outs before we went on the test drive. His communication was great throughout the entire process and it made my decision that much easier. Simon, the finance guy, was fast, efficient, and above all, amazingly professional! He really took all the stress out of the financial end of things and made it a real pleasure. As a woman, I have had plenty of experiences of being talked down to, dismissed, and lied to, but Santa Monica Ford was the epitome of professionalism. I cannot thank them enough for the way everything was handled and I cannot recommend this dealership enough! Thank you!

All available Mach E at Santa Monica Ford come with exorbitant ADM fees (protection package or something dubious like that). I appreciate that salesman made that clear when i asked at the start. Many area-wide Ford dealers are adding this to MSRP (5-10K). Need to buy online from Ford and select a reputable Ford Dealer for pickup.

Do no, not go here!! If I could leave the worst of reviews I would ( no stars). My husband has had our family car here for over two months here and has not received an indication or information of when it will be fixed. He went today and spoke to the manager and the manager told him his car was too old. This, for sure was an ignorant and mediocre response given the fact that the staff there do not care even in an implied case about their customers. The previous times he went to check how theservice was going, they told him that the part has not arrived, has not been ordered yet, has not arrived or the most lamest one the part was ill fitted We have been customers of that dealership for years and never had that kind of service. Do not go here if you ca avoid it, choose other dealers with a reputable customer service. All of our family members have ford and they usually went there, not anymore. Save your time an money and better save yourself the aggravation.

Great experience buying a new Lincoln from them. They were willing to work with me electronically and they made the new car buying process as easy as it could be - and didnt try any of the traditional auto dealer tricks. Straightforward, honest, and very friendly. Strongly recommend if you are in the market for a Ford or Lincoln vehicle. Parking is a bit dicey given the location, so pay close attention to the confusing signage.

I purchased my vehicle in Dec. 2019. The sales person I worked with was great. The process took hours, but I believe that was mostly due to how busy it was that day. The car I purchased was shipped from another state I believe. I remember the picture showing snow on the windshield. Anyway, when I signed the paperwork, the person i signed with made it a point to say If there are any issues, please give us the opportunity to resolve it first.The car is beautiful. I love it. Everything was fine until a coupe of weeks ago when I started my car and everything shut off. I had roadside come out and they discovered one of the battery connectors were rusted and corroded. It was clear that it had been this way for long time. I reached out to the Service Department and was told a I was a few days outside of my 90 day warranty. I had also purchased the extended warranty, but was told this issue would not be covered. The damage to the connector was extensiveness and was clearly done before I took possession of the vehicle. It looks as though someone pounded or forced the connector onto the battery post.I also discovered that the valet key in my key fob does not actually open the door. It is not the correct key, so with my battery dead, i am unable to manually unlock my doors.When I called service, they said I would have to wait to 2 weeks until their next available appointment. 2 weeks!!! My car is not working and they wont see me for 2 weeks.I tried reaching out finance or to speak to manager and was on hold for 30-45 min each time I called.At this point I am ready open a DMV investigation. I have had to take my car to the Ford dealership near my house, where the repairs have coasts me over $400! Like another reviewer said, I am ready to cancel that Max Care. I am actually eligible for extended warranty through Ford. I wish I had known that before.The true testament of a company is not how they treat you before you spend your money, but how you are treated after. Honestly, they do not seem to realize that I am STILL a customer! It is as if they have washed their hands of me and that is disheartening.

Let me start off by clarifying that my review is based on the sales manager and the dealership, not the salesperson, Eddie, who was actually a very helpful representative. I went in to look at a new vehicle and had a good experience browsing and test-driving the vehicle. Although it was concerning that underneath the back seats there was chips crumbles and what appeared to be candy stains on the back seat. I disregarded and that proceeded to talk numbers with them. The first quote they gave me was $2500 more than their advertised price and the manager acted like she accidentally input the wrong price when printing it out. Then, when I asked about their $995 charge for a pre-installed accessory called Starguard, Eddie explained that its a GPS tracker which I told him I have no interest in purchasing. He called over the manager again and she simply told me that if Im not interested in paying for it, she is not interested in making a deal with me. So I thanked her for her time and went about my day. This is not even about be trying to negotiate with them on the price of the vehicle, I was willing to pay for it at their advertised price based on the offer they had on their website and confirmed by the representative from their online department who called me when I requested info.I would definitely recommend speaking to Eddie if you are visiting their dealer, but be prepared to be slammed with loads of add-ons.

I have had an absolutely terrible experience with the service department. The services they did were not done correctly, thankfully they attempted to fix it within the original price they gave me. Although when they fixed it again, it was still an issue. It was about a $1,900 dollar fix, and I had to pay for a rental car for almost 2 weeks while they worked on my vehicle. The issue led to further issues which caused my engine to go out. I tried to work with them to only refund what they fixed, and I would cover any further servicing, just to be as accommodating and make it as simple as possible. This was not the case, the service department SUCKS to work with.

They had one of the 2 or 3 new 2020 Ford Explorers in stock in all of Southern California in early July. I test drove it and really enjoyed the car, but numbers werent there. However, they maintained their professionalism, they were frank and upfront and friendly throughout the entire process. Eventually, they worked with me got me into a new 2020 Explorer. Took my commuter in 2 days ago to see if they could take care of the recall situation with the door latches. Stopped by on a whim and the young man who greeted me as I pulled up to the service center was friendly and told me to go in to see a service advisor to make my appt.Went in and talked to service advisor David Sanchez. He was nice and made my appointment for Fri at 11am. The service area was clean and covid prepped and all employees were wearing masks. I didnt see anywhere to sit down, but maybe it was in another area.Came in for todays appt. and was once again greeted by the same young man from before. Checked in with David and he got me up and running with a lyft that picked me up and dropped me off at my gym. I was there for about an hour before I got a call saying my car was done. I called back and David set up my lyft to pick me up and take me back to the dealership. I like how you get a text message confirming your ride is on its way. I waited about 10 min before it showed up.Got back and David had me sign the paperwork and said they would be bringing my car up in a minute. I was happy to see they are definitely taking covid precautions by covering the seat and steering wheel with plastic which they disposed of once they brought it out. The guy pulled them off too quick before I could get a pic, lol.My experience here was sweet! Fast, friendly service and the best part is when you dont have to pay because recalls are usually under warranty. Thanks guys, 5 stars for being awesome sauce!!

My experience with this ford dealership service department was awful. I had been a customer of theirs since 2017 with no problems until this passed june. I brought my car in for service because I was (still is) hearing water running in my dashboard which was not there when I bought the car brand new. I bought the extended warranty for my car when the original warranty had expired which came with a car rental. On June 22nd 2020, I brought my SUV in for service and Carlos Rodriquez was my customer service representative, he initially said that they would have to keep my SUV over night so the technician can run test to see what was going on with my suv. He asked me if I wanted a rental car? I asked him was the rental apart of my warranty which I knew it was thats was one reason a purchased the warranty. He stated, yes, I would only have to pay for the taxes and any insurance I purchase with the car rental, so I agreed to getting a rental car. I stayed in constant contact with Carlos. On day two of them having my car I called Carlos for an update on my car. He said, they needed more time to figure out what was going on with my car. He also, stated [for me] to keep the rental car until they were finshed with my car. On July 2nd 2020 Carlos called me and said [my car] was ready.. I ook the rental car back to them around 1:30 pm that same day and pick up my car. To my suprised when I got an email for the enterprise stating that they charged my card for $321.86. I immediately got on the phone with Carlos. I asked him why did Ford only paid for two days of the car rental when he told me to keep it until my car was ready. He assured me the charges would be changed it was that the paperwork had not been entered yet. That is when the runaround started. I callef up to Ford more rhsn twice a week and spoke with Carlos and keep getting the same story. I also tried talking with the girls that handle the rental paperwork all gave me the runaround. I finally on July 15th Carlos said the managerDenise Ortiz was going to expedite the paperwork to take care of the problem. NOTHING HAPPENED! I left a message for Denise Ortiz. No phone call back. Today is August18th 2020 no a phone call or a resolution. I had to call my credit card company to get involved because I know I should not been chardged for 11 days of car rental charges when I have a rental service on my warranty and Carlos said to keep the car while mine was being service. If I knew this is how Ford treat the customers when it comes to car rentals I would have never dealt with Ford. Total rip off in my opinion. I really hope I can use my car warranty at any Ford dealership because I NEVER want to deal with this rip off(my opinion) Service department again. The bad apart of this is tgat I am out of $321.86 and my car is still have a loud water running sound in the dashboard. Disappointed!!!!!!!What I didnt mention above, I did not get any insurance on the rental car my insurance company covers that with my policy. Also, enterprise charged me for an additional day. I brought the car back to Ford on the July 2nd 2020, enterprise had tge return as the 3rd so Ford did not call them to pick up th car when I rought it back shame on them. Ford paid $60.00(two days) towards the rental when I ended up paying for $321.86(eleven days) when my warranty says I only have to pay the taxes,$321.86 us not taxes. My portion of the bill should have been$43.71 that is if I count the extra money enterprise put on me for the two days that enterprise put on me from what Ford should have paid..explain that to me. If Ford paid for two days why was I charged anything. Then nine more days was added with car rental rate and taxes. All in all,I should only pay $40.80 thats 10 days of taxes but I will throw in the 11th day of taxes which comes up to $43.71. Not $321.86 Santa Monica Lincoln Ford Service Department is a rip off in my opinion. If I can take this to small claims court I will. Ok, normally I dont have an issue. Carlos takes care of everything and Im in and out. I use this Ford for my employer. I drive an explorer and since I had been having such a good experience I brought my personal vehicle. This time however I did not use Carlos but another service writer and this was a huge mistake to the tune of almost $600. Turns out I needed front and rear brakes and a new radiator. New tires were put on my vehicle without permission and come to find out the service writer waited until almost 3p (dropped the car at 10) to tell me what the vehicle needed in additional work and it had already been taken off the lift! This makes no sense since it needed brakes and the tires had been off. Had I been told before when the initial diagnosis of was done I would have done the repair. Instead this writer waited so I would be forced to complete the job at SM Ford. Also he seemed to be having a public dispute with the other writers about commission. Not a good look. Better off at Galpin, or a local shop.

The service department will charge you too much. The shuttle service is only one person so you will wait! Try not to leave your car when hes on a lunch break because you will wait even longer. They have no regard for you time. I was told my car would be ready in two hours and 3.5 hours later it still wasnt ready.

A huge shout out to Seth Chadwick!My whole experience from phone call to driving out with my new Crosstrek was largely possible thanks to Seth. Im naturally suspicious of any sales person and so I look for cues of ingenuity or a sense that Im just a number to hit a quota. Seth did not give me this sense AT ALL! Im glad I went to the Santa Monica Ford location to get my car maintenance done. The staff were very professional and helpful especially Carlos who took care of the diagnosis and contacting my extended warranty, luckily the issue was covered although I had contacted other dealerships in the past or who said they didnt deal with my extended warranty company, but it turned out very well. I parked in the exhaust needed to be replaced it was causing my check engine light to go on but that took care of it.The staff are very nice they are very responsive to phone calls they follow up and even when I went after hours the work is at the showroom were informative and professional. They even took care of dropping me off to the rental company.

I was specifically shopping for a Ford Focus as the lease on my Fiesta was coming due in about 7-8 months. Clearly I still had plenty of time so I did not have to get another car yet but if I could make it work, then I would...especially since Ford had a current promotion of 0% financing for up to 72 months.I had been looking online and considering two different dealerships...one in the Valley where I leased my Fiesta and the other being Santa Monica Ford. I was looking for red. The Valley dealership had three red - racing red only. Santa Monica Ford had only one red - ruby red, which was my preferred shade though racing red would have been okay if the price was right.I called the Valley dealership salesman, through whom I leased my Fiesta, and got a price from him on one of the Focuss they had in stock. I used the online quote request to contact Santa Monica Ford and very promptly was contacted by one if their sales reps, Andrea Sepulveda.I really enjoyed dealing with Andrea. She was a straight shooter from the onset which made me feel confident working with her. She contacted me the same evening I sent the online inquiry...almost immediately. We set a time for me to see and test drive the car the next evening after work. We discussed what could be done on the early return of my Fiesta, financing options and payment details on the Focus and when it was all said and done, I drove away that night with the car I wanted and at a better price than the Valley dealership was offering.

Very slow, never can get someone to answer the phone, doesnt keep appointments. All around terrible experiences with the service department. I walked through the garage and saw my car sitting in a parking lot. As I was going in to complain about the insane wait, they said my car is finished. Who knows if they even changed my oil? Should save yourself stress and time and just go up to Galpin in the valley.

I did my research on electric vehicles and plug in hybrids, so I knew which make and model I wanted. I bought my previous vehicle from Santa Monica Ford and it was a pleasant experience. I looked through their online inventory and found the car I wanted was on order, so I contacted them and the purchase was easy.The Ford Fusion Energi is a great car for me. I’ve had it for seven months and have 2700 miles on it and used only a half a tank of gas (since I use it as an electric vehicle most of the time). The only drawbacks are battery capacity (about 24 miles per charge) and the size of the trunk. However, for me it’s perfect.
